Jessica was born and raised on the East Coast into a real estate family.  Her father is a retired property manager and both parents are real estate investors.  Jessica grew up in a 1908 Edwardian house in Atlanta, Georgia and quickly learned the difference between plaster and Sheetrock, heart pine and laminate floors.  She has renovated old homes from Atlanta to Denver to Hilo and still loves the craft of house building and design.  For 10 years Jessica owned and operated a faux finish painting business called Berlin’s Walls.  Jessica’s knowledge and passion for home renovation helps clients understand home maintenance issues both big and small.

Jessica is a luxury Vacation Rental Manager for Elite Vacation Rentals and a sales agent for sellers and buyers since 2004.  She lives in Pauka’a near Hilo on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island.  Jessica’s service to clients includes a crew of service providers and her husband Micah who is a Maintenance Supervisor for her vacation rental clients.  Jessica and Micah have a large family of pets and two children.  They have lived on the Big Island since the early 2000s and love tropical life: sun, ocean, fishing, boating, gardening, hiking and more!

Jessica gives back to the Big Island community by serving on the Board of Directors of the non-profit HawaiiCon, the first tropical destination science, SciFi and fantasy convention hosted right here on the Big Island every September.  As a co-founder, Jessica instituted the HawaiiCon giving program.  HC raises funds for Big Island performing arts and science programs for kids including high school Robotics teams and the Performing Arts Learning Center.  She and husband Micah, a Navy Veteran, also support Ho’ola Veteran Services whose mission is to teach veterans sustainable farming practices while getting them out in nature to recover from PTSD and other service related injuries.  Living in Hawaii means being connected to our Ohana, our families, neighbors and communities and thriving together in harmony with nature.
