Kauai Birdsong at Poipu Crater

We absolutely adored our stay and can't wait to return again! So peaceful!

This place was perfect! We enjoyed the private area yet we were still able to quickly get anywhere we needed. The new property manager was very nice and she had a drink, snacks, and a bag of coffee waiting for us! Would definitely recommend Courtney’s place!

We spent a month at Courtney’s place and had a great time. Her listing is accurately described. We really appreciated that the kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans and various tools to make dinner prep pretty effortless. Her place was also well-supplied in everything we needed for a trip to the beach. There was also not a day in our month stay that we felt the need for air conditioning. The evenings were lovely with just the cool breezes from the open windows. We also appreciated that our co-host was readily available for any needs. Thank you for a terrific time A+!

This was such an amazing stay! Each day was filled with the wonderful, welcoming bird sounds (especially that cackling rooster) to the cozy, melodic rain on the lanai. The property was immaculately clean and we were welcomed with yummy local treats, courtesy of our host!

There are split AC units as well as ceiling fans, if needed. The interior and decor of the property was tasteful and relatively bug-free! The kitchen was well stocked with plentiful equipment as well as spices and tea. Additionally, there were: beach chairs, parasols, boogie boards, a cart, a floatie, and pickleball rackets available for use as well
Only 5 minutes from Poipu Beach, where we had the chance to see turtles as well as a monk seal. Would recommend and stay at this Airbnb again!

Beautiful, peaceful location and a great host. It was Perfect for our family vacation. The townhome was appointed thoughtfully and we felt right at home. A short drive to many great restaurants and the beach. 5 stars!

Courtney's place was an awesome landing spot for our first trip to Kauai! They had anything and everything we needed for an awesome week on the island! A quiet, peaceful, and comfy space to spend time when we weren't at the beach or exploring the island. Highly recommend this stay!

Nice condo with many beach items and good location. One thing to note is that the condo has no AC so it can be hot during the day, but the host provides many fans around the house.

Stayed three weeks here with my husband and mother and loved it. We come to Kauai often but there was something truly special about Poipu Crater and Courtney’s unit is probably the best of the bunch. Private, lush, felt like home. Will definitely be back!

The Poipu crater is always a great stay! Beautiful grounds and well located. Short walk to Poipu beach and a short drive to tons of stores and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The lanai was my favorite place to hang out in the morning, to have a cup of coffee and a little breakfast before heading out for the day. You definitely get the tropical vibe- lots of plants/trees, birds, and red jungle fowl (chickens).
Melissa (Courtney's on-island contact) was very responsive and proactive.
It did get warm in the afternoon/early evening. We'd open up all the windows and get the fans going when we came back from our day, and hang out downstairs until things cooled off a little.
Would definitely stay here again!

Courtney was a great host, very easy to communicate with. She was flexible and accommodated an early check-in. Check-in and check-out were smooth using a keypad. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but Courtney went above and beyond to try to resolve it. Also, when we ran out of trash bags and other items, they were promptly replaced. The house is in a great location, walking distance from 2 nice beaches. It was very quiet, peaceful and scenic. No AC, but plenty of fans to cool the rooms. The bedrooms were spacious and living room was a good place to hang out. Patio was perfect to have breakfast. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and condiments, and bathrooms were clean. Also, the host provided beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and cart, which were useful. Overall, we had a nice stay, and would definitely recommend the condo.

Courtney’s place was fabulous- so close to Poipu beach. We loved the tennis courts and the lanai with ping pong and pool. Spent two nights grilling out there. Courtney’s on island contact also made sure we have everything we need and was super helpful and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is tucked into a quiet little neighborhood complex, and we actually didn't get woken up by roosters, which I understand is a typical annoyance in Kauai haha.
The room/house don't have central air conditioning which might have mattered to us more if we spent more time around the house. The owner just installed a portable A/C unit in the master bedroom, though, which felt AMAZING after a long day outside in the heat.
Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, not a bad walk to the beach. Appreciated all of the beach essentials as well! Do note there is no AC, but they have loads of fans to help out with that issue.

Great place and location. Love that there's a washer & dryer. It got kind of hot at times but there are a ton of fans in the condo.

We absolutely loved Courtney's place. Located in a very elegant and beautiful, quiet residential area, in the middle of a wonderful nature. We enjoyed the bird concert every morning for our coffee on the wonderful terrace, incredibly beautiful. Listing is exactly as shown on the pictures. It was very cozy, very clean, you immediately felt at home and arrived. Everything is there, there is really nothing that would be missing. If we did not live so far away, we would certainly come more often:-). We can recommend Courtney's house from the bottom of our hearts. Sincere thanks for the great time we were allowed to spend. Mahalo!

One of the best experiences I've had with an Airbnb! The place was clean, just as described, and in great condition. Perfectly suited to our group of four. Included amenities were great and we had an excellent time. Beyond that, we experienced an unrelated and unexpected travel issue. The hosts went above and beyond in helping us resolve the issue. Hosts like them make Airbnb worthwhile and I cannot recommend them and this place strongly enough!

We loved it, this place was clean and private. It was a good deal for a two bedroom two bath with queen beds. Very well stocked kitchen for a rental which was good for us because we wanted to cook most of our meals! The end unit was quiet and private feeling and we didn’t hear anyone else in the complex. It was nice having the pool and grills. Walk to the beach was about 15 mins. It is in the crater so walking up and out got our heart rates up. The host had a wagon which was helpful for taking stuff to the beach!

Great place, plenty of room, all the things you need. We enjoyed the quiet ( except for the little roosters in the AM, which we enjoyed ) tropical surroundings. Easily walkable to beach and restaurants. Overall, wonderful place.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location, the kitchen is fully equipped, it has everything to have an amazing time on the beach!
It is best to wake up listening to the birds especially the roosters ☺️ 100% recommended

Wonderful place located in a very quiet area (at least when we were there). I would highly recommend. The lanai is a great place to hang out and being the biggest table, we ate most of our dinners out there. The geckos and various bugs love the lanai as well, so keep the screen shut.
If you go out to the grassy areas at night with a flashlight, you could find a bunch of huge cane toads.. that was fun!

Awesome stay!! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Plenty room for the 4 of us. Very relaxing location. Barely saw anyone else, which we really appreciated after walking through a few of the other complex’s where everyone is packed in without much privacy. We spent lots of time out on the porch which felt really peaceful and private. Walkable distance to a few very nice beaches. Place already had beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, and some other beach equipment, as well as the usual amenities. Washer and dryer was really nice to have as well. Courtney and Melissa were super friendly, easy to reach, and very proactive. Don’t let the lack of reviews steer you away, it’s just a newer rental. Great spot!!

At first we arrived in the dark and bc the streets did not have any street lights. We found it a little hard to find but with the navigation system super simple. When we arrived into this peace home we felt so lucky. Once we woke up the next morning and saw in daylight where we were actually staying we couldn’t believe it. Courtney would message me back if I had a question. She is such a pleasant person. The beach is a 10-min walk. If you are older and have some trouble going up hills I would recommend you drive to the beach. But the walk is beautiful. On the walk to the beach we saw monk seals, turtles, dolphins and whales. The local coffee/deli shop has the greatest baked goods of you like to buy your coffee on your morning walks. But if not there is coffee at your home and a great coffee maker. The layout of the home was perfect. We loved loved loved our stay here. Thank you for your kindness and allowing us to feel safe and happy in your special place.The energy in this home is special.
