Sandy Surf K508 was not offered for guest rental in the past. It debuted in 2010 with new furnishings, art work, linens, electronics, kitchen goods, and decor. We created Sandy Surf to rival the elegant but subdued ambiance of the Club Floor Lounge of the nearby Four Seasons Wailea.
Borrowing from the name "Sandy Surf" the decor is rich with warm seaside tones of blue, gold, sand, light and dark brown, creme, silver and copper. The travertine floors are enhanced by rare imported silk carpets. An abundance of custom throw pillows and floor pillows make the 3 separate sofas a comfortable place to relax and gather as a group of friends or family. The furnishings are an exceptional and eclectic blend of tropical touches with contemporary and traditional pieces artfully blended to create an exceptional environment for discerning travelers. Sandy Surf K508 is privately managed to the highest possible standards. It is without any doubt one of the best of the best at Wailea Beach Villas.
The great room is an oversized communal gathering space with a 60 inch HD television, digital cable, ipod dock with surround sound speaker system, and HD DVR. There are two seating areas. One faces the television alcove that is shaded with Italian faux pearl paint. The other cocktail and conversation area faces the enormous ocean view. For dining, enjoy the round indoor table that seats six, 2 additional bar stools at the granite counter that overlooks the kitchen, or at the solid butterscotch color teak table in the kitchen. The alfresco veranda has a stainless Viking gas grill, a double reclining padded chaise lounge, and a six to eight person outdoor dining table.
The kitchen is one of our favorite rooms to talk about. There is a Bosch Tassimo T-disc espresso and coffee maker, a 2nd traditional drip coffee maker, wine fridge, 2 beverage drawers, double freezer doors, an oversized Sub-Zero fridge, built-in microwave, convection range, Bosch dishwasher, and a ceramic glass Ceran cooktop. For those who enjoy cooking fresh food, the kitchen offers every type of small appliance along with a quality array of glassware, plate-ware, and service ware. You are invited to make use of the waffle-maker, juicer, blender, toaster oven, mixer, rice cooker, spices/herbs and other conveniences stocked in K508.
This stunningly decorated spacious residence has three well appointed bedrooms each with full baths as well as a fourth den/bedroom situated off the great room. Within the den/bedroom is a silky fabric queen-size gold color sofa (made up with a proper queen mattress when needed), a side chair, a dresser, a desk, and an assortment of convenient office supplies. It has a beautiful mountain view and is enclosed with beautiful solid cast bamboo pattern framed glass doors and cotton/linen curtains.
Ride your very own dedicated elevator up five stories to a prime elevation set above the family pool and spa, as well as the residents-only gym. At this elevation, guests are privileged with unequaled panoramic views of Wailea Beach, the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea Resorts, and westward towards the open ocean. Floor to ceiling solid glass doors and screen doors retract for an open-air living experience. This previously undiscovered vista is simply impossible to capture in photographs. With confidence we can boast that you likely may not want to go anywhere during your holiday, if other than to lounge day and night on the ocean view private terrace, from where you can whale watch during winter season, star gaze at night, and otherwise be entertained by mother nature's soul-stirring and ever-changing hues of blue in both sea and sky.
