Pool, views, comfort… the place was perfect!

The unit is exceptional. The location is great, the furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The beach gear closet had everything we needed to snorkel & just relax with chairs & umbrellas. The cable was a little spotty, but we didn’t spend a lot of time watching TV so it was fine. All in all a great unit.

Good communication from host. The checkin and checkout process was very smooth. Would return again.

We loved watching the sunset from the patio, being steps away from the pool and having everything we needed in the kitchen. A particularly nice touch was having such a variety of beach toys.

The condo is very spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a wonderful view. We had some gorgeous sunsets from the patio and the best part of this listing is the proximity to the pool/restaurant/gym area. So easy to roll out of bed and walk 40 seconds to get to the gym. The pool area is fantastic, the bar n grill was amazing, and we saw humpback whales all day/ every day. The prefect trip, thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Some highlights that made the experience unforgettable: - The condo is perfectly situated next to the Ocean Club, just a short walk to the community restaurant, gym, pool, and jacuzzi. It's also just a short walk to Buddha Point and the Hilton Waikoloa Resort, where you can explore the resort lagoon with it's fish and turtles. - The breathtaking sunset views from the patio were absolutely stunning, and we could even see whales spouting in the distance all day long. The starry sky at night was a beautiful bonus. - The condo came equipped with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, binoculars, racquets, hats, board games, and more! Also a full stocked kitchen, and outdoor grill. - 2 parking spots (covered and uncovered) - The staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for a friends or family stay!

Hali’i Kai is our favourite place to stay in Hawaii (the State, not just the Island!). This unit offers the best of Hali’i Kai, being very close to the Ocean Club and having a perfect location for those incomparable Kona sunsets! The kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ grill worked flawlessly with a spare propane cylinder just in case.

AMAZING and PERFECT unit!! Best of both worlds, close to the resort pool and a beautiful view of the ocean off the lanai. You will not be disappointed! We were not only impressed with the amenities in the unit, but also all of the beach amenities (beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and much more). We felt right at home and enjoyed the resort restaurant/bar, pool and workout room. We had a perfect, relaxing week and felt right at home. We will be back!

An amazing apartment with everything you need for a great vacation including beach chairs, snorkel gear, ice chest, snorkel gear and more. We loved being able to do our laundry and not have to buy soap. Everything was clean and crisp. The view is incredible! We loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunset and falling stars at night.

We loved our stay at the condo. It is extremely close to the Club House so using the pool (fantastic for kids), the gym, and other amenities was super convenient. The ocean view was stunning and yet you could get to restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. The condo (especially the kitchen) was very well stocked. The host was extremely responsive throughout the entire stay. We had a fantastic time, thank you!

We have nothing but positive things to say about our time at this property! Upon arrival everything was incredibly clean, which we appreciate, and are certainly looking out for. The property managers were on top of absolutely every little thing throughout our stay, and truly provided the island aloha spirit! Thank you for everything, and we would love to stay here again in the future.

Dyson Stick vacuum filter needs to be changed that is on the END of the motor. Only runs less than 10 seconds because the filter is full of sand. Garbage disposal needs to be sharpened - is dull but works. Brighter light in the laundry room as had to use the light on my phone to read the words on the dials. Instructions for the appliances so I could have used the espresso machine. Other than that is was just perfect and the printer being there was a first class addition. Loved the view and being close to the pool and exercise equipment. The grounds were lovely and the sunsets were amazing. Thank you - now back to reality.

Very nice condo in a beautiful location near many different sights, beaches and experiences. Very well stocked with beach stuff, games and kitchen supplies. Pool is excellent for lounging without feeling crowded. Area is very walkable but need a car to go most places

This was the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. Loved the boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers etc. Kitchen was also so well stocked and I was pleased they had plastic cups for the kids. Set up was perfect for our family of 4 with two separate beds for my kids who don't sleep well in the same bed. The pool area was lovely with great ocean views. We loved our stay and would happily stay again.

When I say amazing , everything about this place is amazing . The unit is clean, tastefully decorated and the beds are so comfortable. The unit has everything you may need , basics of pantry staples , plus a closet full of beach supplies , beach chairs , rolling ice chest , snorkel equipment , boogie boards, towels , and games. Showers are great after a long day in the sun and sand. The view is incredible at this unit , I think it’s better than the ocean front . You have golf course and ocean , it really is like the pictures. It’s the closest unit to the pool area. The facility is nicely kept, the pool and restaurant/bar is great. The view of the sunsets are the best we have ever seen. Pool has some challenges of shade in the afternoon only a few spots under the tree. The pool hours are 8am-8pm , restaurant/bar 10am-8pm. It would be nice to have the pool open until 9-9:30 and the bar open a little earlier for a Bloody Mary or a mimosa. But otherwise amazing . Great path over to Hilton if you want to walk around the resort - it’s so large very happy I didn’t stay there . But if you have kiddos you can get a day pass for the pool and small water slides might be fun. Dolphin show on Tuesday and Thursday 8am so dolphins can get some freedom Is free to watch . It was nice . It’s great to grab water, fruit and adult beverages at Costco . The foodland up the road from here had a lot better vegetables. Probably should have gone there instead of Safeway. Overall - we will be back . Can not ask for anything more . We have never stayed at a better place . 12C is the best

Wonderful stay in a lovely property. Great views and quick stroll to club which has excellent food and a workout area that wins best view hands down.

Great rental.

We could see the ocean from our back patio and there was an awesome trail for running along the ocean. The pool and workout room was 40 yards away. The condo was clean and organized. We had everything we needed including 3 boogie boards and plenty of beach towels and chairs. It was perfect!

This is a wonderful place to stay with beautiful views of the golf course and ocean. We walked every morning along the coast which was just steps off our patio. This place is stocked with everything you could possibly imagine from cooking to ocean activities to wonderful comfort. It’s only steps to the pool, gym, bar and restaurant which I greatly appreciated. Great bar and pool and I worked out at the gym every day. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. 12C was one of the best condos we ever have vacationed at across so many vacations throughout the world our family has taken. Everything was thoughtfully arranged in the house.

Great condo for a family. The ground floor location, views to the ocean, and steps from the pool were ideal for our family vacation. There are many trails nearby and we ran/walked both south and north. The unit is very well stocked with every kitchen tool and appliance imaginable and all the beach gear you could want.

We had an amazing stay. The unit was well appointed and the location from the pool and Hilton water park next door couldn’t have been better. We ate and drank all over the island, and agreed the best drinks and food were at the poolside restaurant/bar.

We stayed for two weeks at Hali'i Kai 12C. The unit is well appointed, with comfortable bedding, tasteful decor, and a reasonably well-supplied kitchen including spices, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, as well as detergents for laundry and dishwashing. The owner and/or property manager have thought through the little "details" that make a place comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor lanai faces southwest, perfect for late afternoon sun (although hot!!) and an excellent view of sunset. The unit is close to the amenities building, and has covered parking. The property manager was attentive and available when needed. The property itself is well maintained, although the pool/amenity area of Hali'i Kai is woefully undersized for the size of the property - there are close to two hundred condos (which seemed to be full when we were there in February - so at least four to five hundred people on site), yet fewer than fifty deck chairs at the pool, which means that every day was Hunger Games if you wanted a lounge chair in the amenity area (didn't matter what time of day). Strange, given that every unit pays for access to the amenity area; not sure where that revenue goes, but it is not on pool lounge chairs. The restaurant staff were great, and the food was good. We enjoyed our stay, but will not return because of the over-crowded amenity area. If access to the pool is not important to you, this is a great unit and we can highly recommend it.

Super clean, updated and organized two bedroom and bath condo with access to coastal trail and resort style pool. Ocean and golf course views. Close drive to many public beaches, Kona airport, resort restaurants. and town of Waimea. Less than two hours to wonderous Mauna Kea.

Beautiful condo, fully stocked with everything we needed. We will absolutely return to Hali’i Kai, and this particular unit, in our opinion, is the best one there. Ocean views and right beside the beach club. Absolutely perfect!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and we loved the unit. Beautiful view and location near pool. The condo was very clean and well equipped. My husband commented multiple times about what a great job I did selecting the condo. I had stayed in the complex before with our daughter in a different unit. I hoped the restaurant and service would be as wonderful as I remembered pre-Covid and I was not disappointed. The pool restaurant was wonderful with great service. They had the best Pina Coladas on the island. We will definitely be back. Love the location!

Our first trip to the big island of hawaii was a success! This condo is PERFECT. Outside of the busy Kona area, but not too far that you can’t drive down to see it. Quiet, nice area. The hot tub and pool were amazing. You’re also on hole 6 of the Beach golf course, and we made sure to take advantage of being so close to such amazing golf courses. Would absolutely stay here again.

Can’t beat the location. On the golf course, front row seat for beautiful sunsets in the Pacific. The unit itself was excellently furnished. The pool and beach club were convenient. Great bar service and happy hour. Working out on the ocean was refreshing to say the least.we will be back and highly recommend to anyone coming to Waikoloa.

This place is fantastic. We stayed at the home for just under a week as a family of 4 (two little kids) and it worked really well. The condo was very clean and has a luxurious vibe throughout. The high end bathrooms/showers were a nice plus. The view is fantastic. We had our morning coffee outside every day and enjoyed drinks at night. (bring mosquito repellent for the nights). TVs in every room. Kitchen fully stocked including an espresso machine. Lots of beach equipment including snorkeling gear, 5-6 beach chairs, kids toys, umbrellas & ice chest. The hosts were very good at leaving very detailed instructions for getting to the home, checking in and checking out. The home is also nicely labeled so you know where things are and which light switches control what. Pool is very close by. If you want to go to the beach or do any shopping you will need to drive - which is how most of the condos are in Waikoloa. We will be back for sure!

This place was perfect in every way and made our stay on the Big Island complete. It was nice to have a comfortable home to come back to everyday where we knew we had everything we needed and it has a perfect ocean view of the sunset to complete our day. The location was great being right next to the pool and bar where we spent most sunsets. 49 Beach is an adventurous 20 minute walk over lava along the coast but a great beach for snorkeling. I definitely recommend this condo to anyone coming to the Big Island looking to stay in Waikoloa!

This was a beautiful condo with a phenomenal view. The location is great - next to the pool and Ocean Club restaurant.

Hali'i Kai has always been the perfect spot and it still is. The staff there are always exceptional. Kathy and Sapphire at the pool have been there as long as I have been going and always remember me and my family with a huge smile and great service. The condo was clean and as expected. Cannot wait until our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely unit and would like to stay again in the future! Very clean unit, nice furnishings, has all of the kitchen items you would need and very easy to coordinate with property manager. Five stars!

It was everything and more! It was one of the best stocked Airbnb condos/places we have ever stayed at. We loved that everything was labeled in the kitchen and had its place. It was so clean and stocked with all kitchen appliances, knives, and basic condiments. It was so relaxing hanging and eating outside on the lanai. Great location with a ton of awesome beaches nearby for snorkeling and relaxing!

Really enjoyed the location of our unit. It was right next to the Ocean Club which made it easy to enjoy the pool and the food was really good.

This unit was better appointed than any we have ever stayed in. Perfect in all ways. Location on golf course with ocean views. We will return for sure. Thanks to the owners!

We came here for our kids’ spring break and were extremely happy with the Condo. It was perfect for our family! The condo was completely outfitted with all the things you might need for a day at the beach. Very close walking distance to the pool and club with a nice grassy area for kids to run around in and play out in the back of the condo. Close driving distance to the beautiful white sand beaches on the northern coast and still an easy drive to great snorkeling all along the Kona coast. The setting around Waikoloa resort is peaceful and never felt overly busy. We are looking forward to doing it again!

Wonderful unit with ocean and golf course views. This place had everything you could need. Wonderful finishes throughout the unit and a very short stroll to the pool bar/bistro. The communication was great and made the checkin process a piece of cake. I'm already dreaming of my return trip.
