This house was amazing! Very spacious and clean. Our family of 5 adults loved hanging out by the pool and enjoying the view. The walk to the Mauna Kea hotel and beach was easy. We spent time exploring the Big Island but always appreciated coming back to our house and relaxing by the pool. The host answered all of my questions before we arrived, and the on-site property managers were wonderful. I can't say enough about how much we loved this house and the resort area! We will be back.
The house and its amenities were outstanding. The house is an easy walk to the beach and offers lots of beach toys, chairs, etc. Also, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for. A perfect place to spend time with friends and family!

by Charles PIt starts with the view which is as wide as we’ve seen. The interior is nicely updated with great fabrics and fixtures. The team at Gather took care of numerous requests prior to our stay including organizing a private chef dinner, photographer, baby sitter and grocery run. The walk down to the driving range and first tee is short and easy. The beach and amenities of Mauna Kea are world class.
We really enjoyed our stay and loved walking down to the beach/hotel. It's very comfortable and spacious.
Beautiful getaway from all the petty partisan crap on the mainland.

by Carol SWe enjoyed our rental villa and hope to return and rent this particular villa again. The villa was very well-appointed and had everything that we could have needed; we really appreciated this. We also appreciated the cleanliness, the wonderful smell throughout the villa, and all the available towels and beach chairs for our entire family. Having the pool heated to 86 degrees (additional cost) allowed us to swim in the early morning hours. The only suggestion that I would recommend is a little more lighting in the front area where we parked our vehicle. This would have been helpful when unloading our vehicle in the evenings with children. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Mahalo

MK Villa 21 is perfection. The lanai has the perfect view of the sunset. The kitchen has every gadget and device a home cook needs to prepare meals for the family. The beds were comfortable and the house is generously equipped. Our family had an amazing time here.
Excellent trip with the family
by Shawn MExcellent time with the family. Easy access to the beach and pool. With the resort pass you can also use the Westin Resort which has the better pool for young kids. The service was excellent as was the food at the restaurants. We definitely plan on doing it again next year.
