Ali'i Point #12

We could not have been more pleased with our stay! The house is spacious and gorgeous. Walking through the front door and seeing the ocean open up in front of you is breathtaking. This home has everything you could possibly need, stocked kitchen, appliances, and plenty of space for a family gathering. Completely oceanfront with an ocean view from every room! Plenty of towels and beach towels, washer/dryer. The loft with the twin beds was toasty at the end of July but there are several oscillating floor fans that can be used to cool things down. AC and ceiling fans in other rooms worked great. I won't post pictures simply because they don't do this place justice. I would definitely book again!!

We had a great stay at this property overall. The house itself was beautiful, very clean, and had an absolutely incredible view that made the entire trip worth it. Sitting outside with the ocean in front of you was easily the highlight of the stay. The location and atmosphere really captured the Hawaii experience we were hoping for.A couple minor things kept it from being perfect. The house stayed fairly warm inside, even with the ocean breeze, especially during the afternoons and evenings. The kitchen was also a little limited on utensils and cooking supplies compared to most vacation rentals we’ve stayed in.That said, the home itself was wonderful, the views were amazing, and we would still absolutely recommend it to others looking for a relaxing stay in Hawaii.

Ali'i #12 is a beautiful property - the pictures in the listing are a perfect representation but can't capture the emotions felt when entering the home. The views of the Kona coast are amazing while the sound of the surf and tropical breeze confirmed we had made the right choice when booking this home.The house is large and comfortable and had everything needed for a family of five adults during our one-week stay. Ample room for socializing, but large enough to find solitude after a long day. The location is far enough from town to escape the touristy feel, but 5 minutes away to enjoy a day in Kona if desired. That said, almost everything you'll want to experience on the west side is within 30-60 minutes by car. For an added treat, right across the street is the Ali'i Marketplace, where you can get anything from Kona coffee and fish tacos to t-shirts, fresh flowers and locally grown produce. Overall, a great property and we hope it's available for our next visit!Rick Hansen

Gorgeous views. The home exceeded our expectations. Very well-appointed; we had everything we needed for the stay.

This house was incredible. We used it as homebase for our immediate family and to host some extended family who were staying in nearby accommodations for almost every meal. The wraparound views from the master and oceanfront sounds were just what was needed.

The amenities of this property are excellent. Location is perfect!  Our family enjoyed our stay. Clean, safe for little ones and truly on the water!

Great property. Despite the high price, it exceeded my expectations

We stayed here with our sons and their wives. The accommodations were great. Everyone had privacy. Yet plenty of space to hang out together. The lanai was wrap around and a beautiful view. We saw gorgeous sunsets. And even a full double rainbow one morning. While the location was not walkable to much, nothing was far. We would definitely recommend this place.

This was our second time staying at this wonderful home. The best possible location you could imagine. Walking distance to downtown yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Private, gated community off the busy road. Kids loved the hot tub and going to the pool and also that the neighborhood wa safe enough to go out and play! Highly recommend for families as the kids rooms were perfect and closely attached to the master to where mom and dad felt safe!

A family of 4 with adult children traveling from Australia, we spend 4 nights at Ali'i Point #12. Our stay did not disappoint, everything about this house and the location was incredible. The house is extremely private, well designed to capture the incredible view and very close to town. We loved everything about our stay and would not hesitate to return or recommend to families of any age.

Two brothers and spouses took a Hawaiian vacation. Two islands, four rentals, two fabulous weeks. Ali’i Point was far and away the most spectacular house!

We had another great visit at Ali'i Point # 12, Amazing views and so many glorious sunsets including with the green flash. Mahalo to the concierge and management team who were over the top as usual! They respond immediately with any issue no matter how minor. We saw dolphins and turtles from the deck which is very roomy, great for sunset viewing and catching up on each of our daily activities. We have had many special friend and family moments looking out over the ocean on this and other occasions. We will be back.

Amazing location and very comfortable! Loved the home. The management company is very slow to respond -- B-s at best.

What a beautiful home, inside and out, and lovely location. You can’t get closer to the water than this! Our family of 8 stayed here and our only complaint is that we were not able to stay longer! The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything needed, and the supplies provided with the rental were so helpful and thoughtful! The location is wonderful and we enjoyed all of our time out on the covered patio areas. My daughter especially enjoyed the little area with the lounge chairs and started and ended her day there. Plenty of room inside too for our family. Can’t say enough great things about this home and our time there. Management company is extremely responsive and replied to our question within an hour! We would definitely rent this home again!

Wow!! The minute we walked in the door we were drawn right to the Lanai, and we did spend most of our time right there. There were plenty of couches and comfortable chairs for the whole family on the lanai. The house is beautiful an ocean view from every room. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The Master bedroom is amazing with all the glass, it was wonderful to wake up too. A very quiet neighbor ..except for the ocean waves, which we loved. We will be back, this house will be hard to beat!

No need to repeat everything that’s already been said. Of course the location is exceptional and if the house sounds like it meets your needs, it will probably exceed them. Great communication and exactly as advertised which is always part of the five star rating.

Excellent location with all the amenities you could need for your stay! It housed 8 of us perfectly and we were all bummed when our stay was up. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Location and property were magnificent. Perfect for two small families and grand parents. House well incredibly well stocked and prepared for our arrival. You may have to buy a couple things you'd expect to find, but that was well offset by everything else. Highly recommended. PS- point the bedroom a/c controllers at the unit and ensure it beeps. Otherwise you'll be confused and aggravated like us the first night.

The location is unbelievable! We loved falling asleep to the waves each night. The space was clean and well decorated. We found the price to be good for an ocean front property. Very close to local restaurants and activities.

This house is a perfect ocean front retreat. Amazing views from any room and an expansive Lanai. Amazing sunsets and close to downtown Kona.

What an amazing location!!! We took a family vacation with four generations, and this house was absolutely perfect. We had a 17 month old with us and felt very comfortable with her safety at the house. We also took my 80 year old father and the house was so easy for him to navigate and get around. The home was well appointed, extremely clean, and the private community was very comforting as far as safety goes. We were all extremely happy with this choice!
