Beautiful location and grounds, would definitely recommend!

This is a great place, just a little ways south of downtown Kona area. The big oceanfront pool was great for the kids and adults alike.

Beautiful surroundings, great location and easy to get to restaurants, the beach, farmers markets and more. Casa De Emdeko has a manmade beach next to the ocean and has beautiful landscaping which can be enjoyed from a private lanai. Having breakfast on the lanai as the sun comes up and listening to the chirping birds was such a joy! The condo was surprisingly very quiet during the day and night. The long-term residents have a lovely sunset ritual they perform nightly saying goodnight to the sun as it sets by blowing their conch shells. Be sure to take this in! Beautiful! Thank you for the nice supply of beach toys, chairs and snorkeling equipment. Much appreciated!

We had a great time and would definitely return! The lanai and pools were a highlight but the best part was how quiet and peaceful it was!

The relaxed and quiet vibe of the complex & community, including a few resident owners, was incredible. Each spectacular sunset was accompanied with the local tradition of shell-blowing & torch lighting. The welcome basket and other provided supplies meant less shopping and more beach time. Yay!! Although <2 mile walk or drive to downtown, the free Hele-On Bus shuttle stops right in front of the deli store. Ali’i Gardens Marketplace across & down the street is even closer. It’s an ideal location to hang out all day or as a base camp to travel around the island.

We had such a great time at this location. The best part, by far was the beach sunsets! Amazing!!!

Great place, clean, cute, comfortable. Only disappointment was the ice maker not working. Overall though it was just lovely and so fun! We will be back!

As advertised. Pleasant private space, public areas (and the company of the other guests in the complex) were a very nice surprise. Good communication with the property management.

Great property and good location. The trolley stop is right out front. If you want to ride it to shop or eat. The salt water pool on the beach is perfect for relaxing and great at sunset. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

Great place to stay. I’d recommend if staying for some time gather some groceries to cook and enjoy the beach in back of the property. Very quiet and cozy location somewhat close to downtown if walking and very short drive. Also a well prepared corner store in the front of the parking lot near the property that will cover your needs.

Everything about this place was great. I'm from the Big Island but needed a place to stay while visiting family. The location is close enough to walk to Ali'i Drive with all the shopping/restaurants or a very short drive. Condo was very clean and comfortable. You really can't beat the quality of this place for the price. 10/10 would recommend.

Nice little condo resort, a bit on the older side, but the maintenance crew is very good at keeping everything clean and tidy. The unit has everything you need, having a washer and dryer on a beach vacation is always a major plus.

We are so happy we could stay in your home, when we are take our vacation in big island. Is so clean and well decor. Love your home ! Hope will be there again sometime!

Centrally located, Kona trolly pickup at front of building. The complex was quiet and clean, and the fold out couch was pretty comfortable.

This place is a gem! It definitely suited our stay. All the amenities included made it easy for us to be as comfortable as possible. The location is ideal. The views and property are spectacular. There’s a market on the same lot that had pretty much everything we needed! The neighbors are friendly and gather for sunsets and good times at the community area by the ocean. The salt pool was so cool! Would most definitely stay here again.

Good location, older building, dated unit, in terms of value for money - this was the best deal that was available at the time we searched. Pre-pandemic was a whole another ball game, more units were available (2018 -early 2020) - there was a much better vacation rental selection as compared to now. The property management company was professional and responsive.

We spent 8 days exploring the island and enjoying the condo. The location was great as it wasn’t right in town, but close enough for a quick trip. It was comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is my third trip to Kailua-Kona where I have stayed at different places along Ali’i Drive from one end to the other. This location, size (1 Bdrm), and price range were just right for 1 to 4 guests using a pull out sofa double bed and the one bedroom. The beds (especially the pull out) were not particularly comfortable, everything else was in good condition. Air conditioning worked well, but was a bit musty in the bedroom. Parking was not adequate within the secure gated section, but there was just enough extra outside the gate, but off the street, that seemed fairly secure. A small liquor convenience store in the commercial building adjacent to the property had just enough basic food stuffs/amenities so that we didn’t need much after a run to the Costco store near the airport. The coast is mostly rocky in this area, so it was a long walk or short drive to a sandy beach. The property has both a fresh water and sea water pool that were well maintained, but had limited hours (9am-9pm for fresh water and 8-9pm for saltwater). However there is a very unique public saltwater pool just 1/2 a block south that is accessible 24/7. We had moderate 5-10 ft waves during our stay and occasionally these would break into the public saltwater pool- very cool! We had a limited view of the ocean from the south-facing lanai and need to use the sunshade most of the day. The property is located at mile marker 2, so it is a good, but very pleasant hike to “downtown”. This was a very quiet condominium, but at sunset everyone congregates on the small “fake” sand beach where there are three large gas grills and a number of tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and would recommend this to anyone on a budget, compared to the more expensive properties in the area.

The location of the place cannot be beat! The pools and views were stunning. The community consists of an eclectic bunch of people that give your stay a warm vibe. The place is older so it has little quirks that come with age. The pull out couch was not comfortable but the mattress in the bedroom was. Checkin and checkout were very easy and I felt like all the necessary information was explained in the emails. Would recommend overall due to the prime time location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Emdeko 222. Starting each morning with breakfast of the balcony looking at the ocean, and ending it each evening at the condo beach sunset ceremony was fantastic. The location was super convenient. The condo was clean and comfortable. WE would definitely stay here again.

There is snorkeling gear and boogie boards in the hall closet. The trolley is a good way to get around locally if you don’t have funds for a rental car. Plentiful of water activities to do, and hiking.

Very nice condo with awesome views of the ocean. The condo is clean and filled with everyday necessities and even fun stuff for you and your family to enjoy. I would definitely recommend staying at this condo.

loved the garden View and also the sunset View as we walked out of our room and next to the BBQ area. Will be coming back. also loved that they had beach accessories.

Awesome spot in Kona, just minutes away from everything! Stores, restaurants, beaches, etc. The condo was equipped with everything we needed.

Close to restaurants, shopping, and within 45 minutes to an hour drive of the world’s best beaches, the location of this place is simply unmatched. Couple that with it being completely stocked with beach gear, unreasonably clean, and more than accommodating for 2 people, this Airbnb listing can’t be beat. Highly recommend - 5/5 would stay again.

My wife and I had a great time at this apartment. It was in a good location and was very well maintained. The amenities of the site were also great. It was nice to sit out on the lanai, where you can see a sliver of ocean.

This place was perfect for our stay. It had all that we needed to cook, a beautiful balcony overlooking a garden, two swimming pools (one salt water, one chlorinated), and a beachfront. The locations was convenient for getting into town and nearby snorkeling spots.
