Great condo with plenty of amenities. The property is quiet, well maintained, and very relaxing. We wish we had spent more time enjoying the beautiful saltwater pool overlooking the ocean.

Nice condo on the beach, but no beach access if that is what you are looking for. 2 pools, one was saltwater with sandy "beach" along the waterfront.

We spent a good portion of our honeymoon here, and we were blown away. We love the secluded feel and beautiful grounds. And don’t get us started on the saltwater pool with views of the ocean. WOW.

Casa de Emdeko 235 is exactly as described. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings at this complex. Condo was very clean, bright and spacious. Enjoyed our meals on the lanai and swimming in the salt water pool right at the ocean shoreline. Hosts were pro-active and supported our stay in every way. Loved that it had a blender for smoothies and that it had a washer/dryer in-unit. Even had a cooler for our day trips around the island.

The condo was impeccably clean with everything needed for a nice stay. We especially enjoyed the wonderful lanai with a view of the salt water pool, beach area and crashing waves. The condo included everything we needed for a comfortable stay …full kitchen, beach chairs, towels, comfy bed, secure parking and so much more. Perfect for two. Host was informative and welcoming! The neighborhood was quiet (lots of senior owners) yet conveniently located by short car ride to the main town for restaurants and shopping and rocky beaches. Highly recommend this listing!

Loved our stay here. Sunsets are beautiful and it was great for us and our one year old. It is close to beaches and restaurants but keep in mind there aren’t any sidewalks on the main road. So you will be walking on the “shoulder.” This led us to drive everywhere and park since we had the baby. We would stay here again

We stayed at Casa De Emdeko unit 235. It’s a beautiful one bedroom large apartment. The complex is right on the water with an amazing view. The condo is clean, the grounds are beautiful and offer 2 swimming pools. It is conveniently located just a mile to Kona. And you can’t beat the sunsets.

We had a great stay! Short drive to downtown Kona near all the action but quiet and relaxing with views of the ocean. We would stay again! House was well stocked with everything you might need for a week on the Big Island. We felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. Unit has AC and washer and dryer which were a big plus. Highly recommend!

If you want peace and tranquillity, this place is for you. The complex has strict quiet times, but that is exactly what I was looking for. The condo had a great ocean view and the living areas were comfortable. There were beach chairs and snorkel equipment which was a bonus! The only thing we wish there was more of was toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. They only provided two toilet paper rolls, one paper towel roll, and no extra trash bags…something to keep in mind as we had to go buy more of those things. Overall, I would stay again.

We loved our stay here. This is a small, quiet complex, mostly adults. The private beach and saltwater pool set this apart from other properties. The balcony provides shade and excellent water views. We enjoyed it for coffee in the mornings and eating dinner in the evening. There were some maintenance issues during our stay, but the property managers were quick to respond and resolve the problem. The mattress is firm and comfortable. The unit is clean and in great condition. The beach chairs, coolers, etc. were a great bonus. We look forward to returning next year. This complex has a lovely community feel. Residents gathering at the beach nightly to watch the sunset, including blowing the conch shell as the sun hits the water.

If you are looking for quiet and peaceful, this is the place. There was a great view of the ocean and the complex was well cared for. The condo had comfortable living and sleeping areas. I would come back again.

Great place close to local markets, beaches and amazing food. Very clean. loved sitting on the deck every morning and watching the ocean. Early communication was nice.

This was a great location to stay with easy access to restaurants and shops but far enough away to be more peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed the deck and views to the ocean. That place was very comfortable and I would highly recommend it to others. The kitchen is small but well appointed and had everything you need to make yourself at home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very clean, and all the appliances are super new. The location is great, you can see the ocean from the huge balcony. The biggest bonus point is that the place has lots of water activity gears for adults and kids.

Great rental unit with an updated look in a fairly quiet & nice community. Clean and the coffee to freshly grind was a nice touch. Beautiful view of the common areas, pool & ocean. I would definitely stay here again. (Messaged the company to ask if we could store our luggage earlier than 4pm but never got a response.)

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely grounds and well kept property. The view from our unit was lovely and the sunsets (around the corner) were spectacular.

The unit had everything we needed. Only problem we experienced was a noise emanating from a neighbouring units AC. The management promptly took care of this after our contacting them Many of the guests are long time returnees. Felt more like a social club. Very friendly and helpful. Some blow the conch at every sunset. Pools were not crowded . There are 3 BBQs, so no waits, There is a small manmade beach (not on shoreline which is rocky)that had lots of shade if you needed it . There are security codes required to drive , enter the property. and access common restrooms. Parking within the complex was often full, so at time had to park just outside the enclosure. behind the commercial building. Which is fine when you display your parking pass.

Unit was very nice. Unit below us had air handler problems (loud noise and floor vibrations) which onsite maintenance and elite pacific properties worked hard to fix, even though unit belonged to another party.

Great place to stay at near the ocean. Super clean and they had a bunch of other things in the condo as well such as beach chairs, ice chest, laundry and detergent, dishwasher and detergent.

Our stay on the Big Island was fabulous. This place was a great spot. Well stocked kitchen and closets with everything from flashlights to scuba gear. Great location for exploring the island. Enjoyed the salt water pool and lanai. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect place to make home base for our vacation. Everything worked well and all needs or questions were answered/attended to quickly. Highly recommend staying here.

This is a great place to stay in a great location. Close to the downtown/main drag of Kailua-Kona which made accessing our planned activities very simple. The complex this unit is located in is quiet, safe and has excellent views of the ocean.

You will not regret paying a little extra for this place. The waves crash, all day, against the walls of the property while a honking conch serenades the sun as it sets. this was the amazing big island home-base we had hoped for. truth bomb : you will be staying in a condominium complex where there is lots of activity. be as social or as private as you like. we met a nice couple in the pool who gave us a lot of ideas about what to do during our stay, but there is also the guestbook which gave us many more. you could almost walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the active ali’i street, but there is always parking. Yet, everything has this sub-sub-urban pace that keeps everything extremely of chill. the complex includes a convenience store which borders on hotel lobby store. the property is architecturally fascinating. if you like the thought of polynesian post-modernism, you will find intrigue in the features and angles of this place. built in 1970, it was the first set of condos on the kona side of the island. our unit was tastefully updated and celebrated its best feature, the ocean view. we will remember this stay for the rest of our lives. we feel so lucky to have stayed here!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, the condo was beautifully updated. King size bed was very comfortable. The condo was equipped with everything we needed including coolers, Kona coffee, washer/dryer, beach towels and snorkel gear. I loved the condo complex including the two pools and amazing ocean views. Will be coming back here again!

Very pleased with the location of this unit. Very quiet, all you hear is the ocean which is exactly what we wanted. Friendly people in the community area, but again quiet and peaceful. The unit is nicely updated and decorated, and had everything we needed. We found it very easy to relax and enjoy Kona from here. We are VRBO owners ourselves and would be happy to stay here again.
