Hale Anu Keanu

Better than the photos! We were thrilled from the moment we walked in the door. Not only is the house well decorated and spacious but it is ripe with accommodations from beach supplies to bikes and more. The kitchen was a joy to cook in (we have a chef in our group), the backyard is secluded and fantastic for relaxing and doing yoga, the hot tub actually WORKS and was easy to slide the cover on and off. The landscaping is well maintained and has a variety of tropical plant species. This was my first time staying on the north side of Kauai. The value and experience that this home provides is hard to beat. If you're looking for a quiet, safe, peaceful trip where you leave all your worries at home this is the spot. Our group has stayed at several Airbnbs in the past and this one now has a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much for providing a well managed property and experience! Our group really has no complaints or issues that detract from the 5 star rating. My only suggestions for improvement would be 2 things: 1) Source for drinking water, we bought a Brita filter from costco but couldn't fit it in the fridge with all of our other groceries, I think the experience could be improved with a 3-5 gallon water cooler somewhere in the kitchen/common area since the fridge doesn't have a water dispenser. 2) Better wifi router. perhaps this is intentional to keep people from being too connected to their devices during their stay, but I really would have liked to be able to work from the lanai in the back. The wifi just barely reaches anywhere outside of the living room. Too slow to upload or download anything away from that area.

Our group truly enjoyed our stay at the tropical garden getaway. Gather was communicative and responsive, before arrival and throughout the stay. They made the whole process so easy, we had no questions. The house has ac in almost every room as well as fans. The house is pretty well stocked - kitchen, extra towels, tons of beach equipment. The Princeville area is my favorite neighborhood to stay in, and we found a gem this time. It really is a tropical garden...house is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. Be sure to step out on to the lanai and take it all in. OH, and please do yourself a favor and step out at night and look up at the stars. You won't be sorry. If you're looking for a house for you and your friends, or your family, this house will not disappoint.

Located in a tropical and lush neighborhood and walkable to golf course and weekend Farmers Market, the home was perfectly spacious for our family of four (two adults, two teens). Along with AC, all rooms had ceiling fans (which we used, never needed AC). Beautiful backyard with comfortable seating to have your morning coffee as well as a private hot tub. Hosts left us a basket of delicious goodies and a binder full of information about the house as well as favorite beaches and restaurants. Location is a 5 minute drive to "downtown" Princeville and a 10 minute drive to Hanalei beach, shops and Farmers Market. Bonus: closet in the garage has an array of beach essentials including chairs, boogie boards, surf boards and umbrellas. Beach towels are left inside. Morning perk: roosters in the yard. This is a gem of a place! It is even more beautiful than the pictures! We were so comfortable and at home. The place is stocked so generously with extra linens and abundance of towels and everything you need in the kitchen. It is so tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. It was immaculate upon our arrival. We were greeted with Hawaiian chocolates and cookies and other goodies. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and just beautiful. We would love to return. I highly recommend

We loved the house (Hale Anu Keanu), and the location in Princeville was nice and close to Hanalei Bay where we went every day to surf and relax on the beach. The house is also close to some good hikes and there are a bunch of good restaurants a short drive away. Our family really enjoyed eating outside on the lani and soaking in the hot tub in the back yard. Certainly a place we would love to visit again!

Thank you for hosting our group vacation at this rental home. The house was clean and cozy for everyone to enjoy and relax into upon our arrival. It was reassuring to know that the host was super responsive by telephone or text message as we did inquire about a few items during our stay. The air conditioning took some adjustment to get used to the loud noise in the evening and to cool the rooms, but we were able to acclimate to the weather and sounds. Thank you again for making our stay and vacation a memorable one.

Responsive property manager, more beautiful than the pictures in a picturesque neighborhood, short walk to Queens Bath trailhead (a must do), the six of us were so comfortable with space for private time and plenty of group fun and meal time. We hope to stay here again! Mahalo!!!

This wonderful place is just as great perhaps more great than the photos. Our family spent a magic week on the island and this spot was a perfect base camp for us. Would highly recommend and would return in a heart beat if we could somehow make such a thing possible.

Property was very nice. Had everything we needed.

This house was great for our group of 3 families (two grandparents, four parents, two teens and one elementary child). The upper floor is the living area with kitchen, the main bedroom with ensuite bath and another half bath. There is room to relax on the front and back porches and a cool breeze was present at almost all times. You can even see the ocean just barely from the front porch! The downstairs is a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, another full bathroom and then a room with two twins and a room with a queen bed. There is A/C in all the bedrooms and living areas except the twin bedroom. Fans are provided everywhere. The amenities of this house are exceptional. They had 4-5 boogie boards, 2 surf boards, multiple beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, beach towels, beach bamboo mats, etc. There were also 4 bikes. We found it on the warm side to use the hot tub too much but it was clean and nice. There is a mango tree and macadamia nut tree in the backyard. There are chickens in the neighborhood as there are everywhere in Kauai! The kitchen has commercial style appliances and is stocked with truly every cooking item that you could possible want. There was also an insulated backpack that we took to the beach with our drinks. They've truly thought of everything! The only feedback I would give is that the house is dimly lit in the evenings. There are lamps but no good overhead lighting in the dining and living areas. This made it hard to play games together. Also, the downstairs can hear people walking upstairs (it sounds like a herd of elephants are up there) but it wasn't really a big issue for our group. This house is very short walk to the Queen's Bath which is an area you can swim in among the rocks but is a steep hike. It is a short drive to many other good beaches. We visited Tunnels, Hanalei, Anini, all are within 15 minutes. Communication with Sophia who was our contact was easy and she communicated well. Overall, we were very pleased with the house, thanks for having us!

What an amazing home - it is in a great location and exactly as described. Absolutely perfect for a group trip

This was the perfect home base for our Kauai adventure. The house is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need to live comfortably. We loved all the Lanai space and our grandkids, 3 & 6 years old, enjoyed playing in the yard which is expertly landscaped and safe for them. The beds are comfortable and the view from the primary bedroom is divine. At the end of our trip we notified the property manager that we lost a key. She was very gracious and a great communicator. Check in was easy. We could not recommend this house more highly.

This place is very spacious home in a quiet safe area which is great if you are looking to relax , when arriving the house was very clean . Has a very tropical vibe . you can fit 2-3 cars in the driveway, queens bath is a few mins away walking which is lovely . Definitely would recommend

We LOVED this house! The pictures really don’t do it justice. The garden is really stunning with several varieties of trees and flowers. The view from the master bedroom is incredible because you just see the trees, so it feels like your by yourself in a jungle. The bedrooms were a good size to fit everyone and the beds were comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive, returning messages right away. The location was lovely - we walked around the neighborhood, to Queen’s Bath, and to a look out that was perfect for sunsets. We also really appreciated all of the beach chairs, the umbrellas, sand toys, and bikes. It was a home that the adults enjoyed but was also kid friendly. We went in April and didn’t really need the AC. A wonderful stay! I highly recommend it.

We loved our stay! The house was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the backyard! The hot tub was an added bonus. The resident rooster was a huge hit, too! We'd definitely come back again! Thank you very much! So fabulous!

We had a really great stay at this Princeville home. Communications with the Elite management team were excellent. The house was exactly as advertised, and it was extremely clean with some upscale features, and well-stocked with quality cookware, dishes, linens, beach towels, etc. Our group was 2 families with 2 kids each and the house accommodated us very well. Although there were some walkable trails nearby, the ones we found that seemed to go to a beach were pretty overgrown and not safe-looking for kids. So, we mostly drove to other beaches and activities which was fine. The cupboard containing beach equipment was a very nice plus. We have previously stayed on Kauai at the Westin in apartment units with full kitchens that were pretty nice, but this was so much better. Our 2 families have stayed together in many different vacation rental homes on the west coast and hawaii, and this was definitely one of the best!

We had a great stay…we had a few problems with the stove and ice maker, but the property manager was very good at communicating with us and trying to get everything fixed. Just a short walk to Queens bath which was amazing! A little bit of a drive to all our activities, but we didn’t mind the drive. The floors were sticky and they don’t want you to wear shoes in the house so we go some sandals just for the house…other than that the spa was nice, the rooms and bathrooms were nice and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Relaxing setting, clean house, comfortable beds and perfect location!

We had a great time at this property. The house is huge with loads of space to spread out or to gather together. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were so happy with the gift basket with some Hawaiian bananas and a papaya! The beds were comfortable and the showers were good. We didn't use the AC and were happy to leave the window flaps open to get natural air in. The location is great and surrounded by so much beauty. It was our first introduction to the Kauai roosters and they made us laugh every time we heard them. The property manager was easy to get hold off and was quick to solve our issues. We were pleased with the support we received. Would recommend a stay here or at another of their properties.

The place was very nice and clean. With four couples it was just a perfect place to rest and cook and have a small bbq in the back patio. Although the place is not in the Center of Kauai, it is still manageable. Nice and quiet countryside, we just wish that there are more house supplies provided. With the price of the rental, you can update many things inside and outside. Overall it was a great stay. Mahalo

We recently stayed at Hale Anu Keanu with our extended family. It was a fantastic home base! The layout is great for cooking dinners and relaxing on the back lanai. It's only a short walk to Happy Talk Lounge for those looking for afternoon cocktails, and Makai golf club for those looking for golf. If hiking's your thing, Queens bath is at the end of the street. Very easy acess to Hanalei and the north shore in general. The house is stocked with bikes and beach gear. Will be back!

Family and I had a wonderful stay. Home was spacious, located short distance from queens bath and was exactly as pictured on site. Home was fully stocked with amenities needed. Definitely recommend staying here.

The property was wonderful. There were six of us, my husband and I, our 23-year-old son, and three of his friends. We were upstairs and they were downstairs and they also enjoyed watching their shows on the large smart tv. It was truly a wonderful time and we will return.

We had a great stay. Walking distance to Queens bath entry, quiet neighborhood and a great house. Loved it.

 This is house is absolutely lovely - spacious, clean, fully stocked kitchen/beach toy cabinet/games cabinet/library/bikes shed. The backyard landscaping is beautiful, with lush vegetation and a sense of real privacy. They truly have thought of everything. It's clear that the property is professionally managed, with everything carefully attended to. I found communication with the Elite team quick and easy. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

We absolutely loved this house! Only con is the A/C units in one of the bedrooms wasn’t working. But we were notified before our stay. House was in a great location; very peaceful and walking distance from some amazing beaches. Word of caution, make sure to look into road closure times before making any plans heading to or past Hanalei. Had more than enough amenities. We enjoyed making family dinners two nights during our stay. Would definitely come back!!

Our large family enjoyed this house so much! A few reasons: beautifully decorated and spacious living areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms, well supplied kitchen, many beach items, location, and views from the front and back. Air conditioning was a nice amenity as well. It felt like our home away from home!

It is right in the heart of Princeville and the neighborhood is upscale. The house itself has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. It is well equipped. There is also beach stuff; surf boards, buggie board, bamboo blankets, etc. There was also two bike available. The back yard is very nice and tropical and the Lani is perfect for relaxing. When we return to Hawaii, we will be staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay with Elite Pacific in Princeville! The house was beautiful - even nicer than the pictures make it out to be. The internet was very fast, allowing many members of our party to successfully work remotely - even when multiple people had to be on Zoom at the same time. The yard was lovely, and the hot tub worked great. They were great on communication and they even gave us a lovely welcome basket! And even though it is not marked on the rental, there is space to park two cars on the property. One piece of advice for future renters - nothing to do with the property - book your permits to hike the Na Pali coast well in advance! You won't be able to hike it if you don't. Many entertainment activities book up, so make sure you plan well in advance! We did not get ours in time, but we were able to find a bunch of other fun things to do instead.

We are a family of 4 and loved this home for our week on kauai. Great location around the corner from queen's bath and a very short drive to Hideaways Beach trail (if we'd been without kids we probably would have walked). The home is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen incredibly well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The only negative was that the main bedroom was quite hot at night. The rest of the house received lovely breezes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
