Amazing place to stay! The house is perfect. Our family of four had tons of space! Pool area is out of this world gorgeous and you won’t want to hang out anywhere else. Great location! Has everything one could need. Easily accessible to Kona.

Hale Joli was FABULOUS for our gang to adjust time zones! The kids didn’t want to leave the gorgeous house, and neither did we. It had everything we needed and then some. Killer sunsets, gorgeous pool and orchard grounds (even though we were out of season for most things), indoor/outdoor living at its finest - and yet somehow no bugs in the house, just a few friendly geckos. 12/10 stars, and I really hope we get to come back!

Beautiful property!

The property was well maintained and offered some breath taking views. We liked the layout of the bed rooms being separated from the large living room. Nicely decorated.  The grounds were well kept and landscaped.  The host was super responsive, even guided us to the property over the phone. Apple Maps took us to a different location. We look forward to retuning for a longer visit. If you get a chance to stay, please don’t pass it up!!!

The house was absolutely amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Sunsets are something to treasure.

A beautiful home, perfect setup for a family vacation. The home was well equipped and beautifully setup. Our flight was delayed arriving and the landscapers were so kind as to put our grocery delivery away in the fridge for us. Overall a great experience, could recommend enough!

This is the most incredible Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor living — no AC was no problem at all with the breezes. The pool was perfect, and the ocean view was stunning. We watched the sunset every night! There were so many great spaces to hang out in, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The fruit trees were such a fun bonus, and the whole property felt so peaceful. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely stunning! We absolutely loved it. It was hard to get out explore Hawaii because we just wanted to stay and enjoy the house! It was the perfect spot for our family!

We had coffee and breakfast on the patio every morning. It was so relaxing we didn’t even want to eat out and cooked meals or grilled our dinners. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. There were large quiet ceiling fans in every room and gentle trade winds present. We will miss this place.

Great view. Beautiful sunset

We thoroughly enjoyed the home and the property. It's a beautiful view and setting and while it feels remote especially at night it really is convenient to beaches, restaurants, etc.

The accommodation matched the description perfectly. The location was peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool – stunning sunsets every evening! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the surroundings were beautifully maintained. We would happily stay again.

An amazing house with a great view. Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures. The house was well equipped, beds were very comfortable. The surroundings were just sublime with a sunset every night. Everything is set up inside and outside for a great stay.

The location is perfect - ten minutes from food and shopping and also quiet and remote. Easy to get to Volcanoes, easy to get to beaches, and easy to get to Hilo. The house itself is stunning. Comfortable furniture both inside and outside the house. We had a great time hanging out by the pool in the mornings, heading out for a day of adventure, and then coming back to cook great meals and just hang out with the family.

Very much a tropical retreat. Understated elegance is a perfect description. Being out on the expanse of lanai is like sitting in the tree tops and the view of the ocean and sunset is amazing. And we can’t say enough about the beautiful infinity pool! The kitchen is stocked very well, and there were plenty of chairs and other beach equipment for our use. The space was perfect for two couples. From the minute we made the reservation to the time of checkout the service we received was fast, responsive, and customer focused. We look forward to returning!

We only stayed here for a few nights but were sad to go. The property is lovely, very comfortable bedrooms, great pool, sunset views from the lanai are superb! Highly recommend and would love to return some day!

Everything was perfect!

Absolutely perfect place for our family to gather! Beautiful location! It was absolutely amazing to be able watch each and every sunset from the infinity pool! The grounds were beautiful with recent additions of fruit trees…which meant we were able to pick papaya and oranges for morning breakfast! We are already planning our vacation back to the Big Island and hoping to stay here once again.

Beautiful location and home. Use Google maps as we found Apple Maps isn’t as great in Hawaii. We swam in the pool day and night, enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the deck. Grilled and cooked many home made meals and generally, just relaxed in this serene environment. Quiet at night - frogs, etc. can be heard - but little traffic or neighbor noise. Plenty of room for a family to spread out. Also, loved watching movies in the cozy sitting area. Overall this is an upscale location with lots of amenities. Walking around the neighborhood and property we also found lots of fruit, vegetables and scenery. Love that they have beach gear for use, plastic wear for the kids and bathtubs as well as showers. Beach and pool towels available and an absolute must was the onsite washer and dryer. Definitely recommend!

This property was amazing! Understated elegance is how I would describe this property. We felt transported to a different place…and it was magical! Bedroom doors are accessed from the outdoors, which may be an issue for younger visitors, but was fine for our family! Close to town, yet feels remote and perfect. We will be back!

Amazing home, responsive staff, fantastic experience!

Absolutely enchanting! We had the most wonderful stay on Big Island in this lovely home. We arrived to a most beautiful view of the sunset that we enjoyed from the lanai where we felt like gods and goddesses on our private mountain estate. Preparing an ono meal in this dream kitchen and cooking it on the grill was a wonderful experience due to the openness of the layout, where we didn’t miss a second of the light show outside. We watched the vibrant colors dancing in the sky as we ate as a family at the large table outside on the lanai. Once the sun went down, the air was comfortably crisp enough for a cozy fire around the firepit. The area feels wonderfully secluded in nature. When it was time for bed, we loved the unique layout of the outdoor hallway to each room, that gave every bedroom the same magnificent view in the morning. Our bed was so comfortable and the temperature so perfect, we slept like babies! In the morning we had a plethora of fruit trees to pick a delicious breakfast from….papayas, figs, oranges, and the best avocados I’ve ever had!!! No gym is needed as we got plenty of exercise exploring the property or using the provided yoga mats on their very soft lawn facing the gorgeous view of the ocean. Best of all, the location is central to the places you want to visit most often, so we didn’t spend a ton of time in the car to get to beaches, hiking, and shops, and still felt completely secluded snuggled within nature. We can’t wait to return to Hale Joli!!!
