Myself, my husband and for various times, our two sons and their partners met up with close friends from New Zealand. The location, accommodation, and interactions with the rental company and owner's family were all great and made our stay wonderful. It was so clean and fresh on our arrival we instantly started to relax. It was a perfect place to stay for the 4th of July and very well located for the beach, activities like Kualoa ranch, LIttle Plumeria farm, Dole Plantation etc that we were able to do a lot of things and also spend lots of time relaxing by the pool.
The property was wonderful and the view was breathtaking. The only thing I would warn is that there is a mandatory 42-stair climb from the driveway to get to the main level. Not necessarily a negative thing, just a warning for anyone interested. We also had wonderful communication from the host during our stay.

Our family rented Hale Lani in Lanikai for 3 weeks at the beginning of April. The place was everything that we could have hoped for in an extended family vacation home. The folks at Elite were amazing at communication and making sure that we knew what to expect.The views from this spectacular home are amazing, I watched the sunrise over the Molokai Islands too many times to count.
Positives: the home had everything we needed to settle right in. The layout is perfect for up to 3 couples to all have their own private space, but still have a ton of space to gather together for meals, games and long chats. The pool is perfect for energetic kids so that we didn't have to spend all day every day burning off energy. There are lots of included toys to help you enjoy your stay like beach chairs & toys. We had an issue with the dishwasher early, but Elite had somebody out to fix it within a day. Finally, the beach. I've been to a lot of beaches in my life, but Lanikai is truly special. It is mayhem for people to get there (parking restrictions abound), but it made no difference to us, we were a 5 minute walk away! The best close shore snorkeling I've ever experienced in my life. We saw reef sharks, sea turtles and every single fish imaginable. The water was calm enough that we were very comfortable with our 4 and 6 year old.
Negatives: honestly, none. Be aware that there is a huge hill, and lots of stairs, but they weren't an issue for us (even with older parents). Plus the parking spot at the top of the hill really helped. Be aware that there were full face snorkel masks in the "toy bin". Apparently they have been recalled and my mom actually had to take a trip to the hospital after taking on some water (our fault for not reading up on them, but the doctors at the hospital made us aware of the issues with them). But that is also a chance to rave about the amazing care at the Kailua hospital, if you happen to need it. Thank you elite for an absolutely incredible trip, and thank you to the property owner for keeping an incredible home in paradise.
Wow! Your family vacation at Hale Lani sounds absolutely incredible. It's clear that Elite really went above and beyond to make sure you had a fantastic stay. From the stunning views to the included beach toys, it seems like every aspect was carefully considered. And the beach itself sounds like a slice of heaven - calm waters, amazing snorkeling, and even sea turtles! The minor issues like the dishwasher and the recalled snorkel masks were handled quickly, and overall there were no real negatives to speak of. It's clear that Hale Lani would make the perfect vacation destination for families or groups of up to 3 couples. What an unforgettable experience!
AMAZING!
by Garza FamilyFrom the moment we arrived at Hali Lani we were in awe! The 180 degree unobstructed views of the water and Mokalu islands were breathtaking. One of our favorite spaces is the pool which is literally carved into the mountain with gorgeous views of the mountain. Because the house is elevated, we had complete privacy on all the lanais, yet the walk to Lanikai beach was only 10 minutes. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Jen with a walk-through of the home and a chat about local amenities, restaurants and adventures. She also left us a book of the same. The house was immaculately clean with high-end furnishings. We appreciated the high thread count bedsheets and comfortable pillows. The special amenities of a French coffee press and a grill made the vacation all the more enjoyable for myself and my family as we cooked and swam in the pool and ate dinner staring at the beautiful waters of Hawaii and watching for whales and dolphins. The house is a short two blocks from Lanikai beach and has ample private parking spaces. It is also within walking distance to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. Five stars for this home overlooking the best views on Ouhua! Can’t wait to go back and enjoy sunrises on the Lania, French pressed coffee, walks on the beach and relaxing by the pool!

Perfect…from sunrise to sunset
by David ChowMy family has visited every Hawaiian island over the years and Oahu never ranked as our favorite island until our stay at this beautiful villa in Lanikai Beach. This villa was perfect for our family of six. The bedrooms, bathrooms, great room, and kitchen were all spacious and extremely well appointed with high-end furnishings, linens, and accessories. The location is also a big plus. It sits on high ground which provided us with unblocked and spectacular views of every sunrise, the ocean, and Mokulua Islands. The villa is also a very short walk from Lanikai Beach - the most beautiful beach on Oahu (and arguably all of Hawaii). When we wanted to get some exercise, we simply walked a few minutes out the front door to the Lanikai Pillbox trail which took us up to one of the best views on the island. We also liked that this villa is like a little sanctuary away from the more commercial parts of Oahu but when we felt like venturing out, it was an easy drive to Honolulu (30 min) or the North Shore (an hour). Finally, after a long day at the beach, hiking, exploring, or shopping, we always loved coming back to the villa for a relaxing dip in the pool before ending the day sitting outside on the expansive balcony and looking out at the ocean. Thanks to our stay at this villa, this was the best trip we ever had to Hawaii. I highly recommend this villa to any family seeking high end comfort, convenience, and the best way to enhance your stay on Oahu!
