Cozy, clean, light, well-stocked home at end of cul-de-sac. Appreciated the neighborhood vibe, proximity to beautiful beach and sublime hikes, and thoughtful management from Sophia.

Perfect. As pictured and described. Beautifully maintained. Clean. Well stocked.The deck is a nice space to sit and read, or eat with your family.The bedrooms each sleep 2 comfortably. Note the loft is open to the living space (as pictured).Short walk to Tunnels beach. 16 minute drive to Hanalea. The communication with the staff was *great* and they provided us calm and correct guidance on how to evacuate during the recent tsunami warning.Recommend highly.

We enjoyed our time in Haena at the Hallor House. It was clean and easy suited all our needs. The living space was comfortable. We loved the easy walk to Tunnels Beach and appreciated the beach amenities.

I enjoyed the Hallor House very much.  Location to beach is a 5 min walk.  House well stocked and property manager helpful and responsive.  Only thing was, I wish there were a few blinds in the front to increase privacy.  BBQ was absolutely useless....not sure if it was wind but it wouldn't stay lit long enough to get meat cooked.  But that was minimal and still enjoyed our time here and the good sleep in comfy beds

The Hallor hale was lovely. The property manager had great communication. The home is well equipped, has comfortable beds and in a great location. Well designed home and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook.  There are great ceiling fans and even extra fans if needed to keep cool. The outdoor shower is perfect for after the beach. The neighborhood is peaceful and conveniently located right near beautiful Tunnels beach. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a truly magical time at this house with our family of four! The house is well laid out and very peaceful and quiet. It’s surrounded by beautiful palms, ferns and flowering Banyans. The location is perfect ~ very walkable to Tunnels (the best snorkeling on the island IMHO), close by car to Ke’e and the Kalalau Trail (FYI you need reservations in advance now!) and Limahuli Gardens. Hanalei with all of it’s wonderful restaurants (Baracuda, AMA, Postcards ~ again make reservations well before your trip) is a fifteen minute drive away and such a special little town. We walked back and forth from the beach several times a day and loved going there for the miraculous sunsets as well. The fans and many screened windows kept a nice breeze blowing through the house. The wrap around lanai is wonderful for watching sunrise and sunsets and the outdoor shower is a nice perk. The host is very responsive and helpful. Don’t pass up the chance to stay in this paradise!

Really great location, easy walk to Tunnels Beach along the main road. We used wagons to cart our stuff and kids which was very helpful and made the walk a breeze. House is well laid out, great space for multiple families to come together for a wonderful trip. House stayed cool as long as we kept windows open and fans going. Neighbors were friendly and had some great local recommendations. While the roosters did indeed crow, white noise machines mitigated the impact even with all the windows open. Upstairs loft bedroom gets a lot of light and great views— since no shades on windows and wood slats need to stay open to get cool breeze, and one long window has no cover at all— people who like to wake up with the sun should sleep up there! Grill was great, outdoor shower was great, washer and dryer were key, Bluetooth speaker was easy to use. Loved the games and toys in the living room too. Very easy to work with property manager. Overall, really great place and would stay there again!

My husband and I stayed at Hallor Hale with our 20-something daughter, son and future daughter-in-law and it was fabulous. We had plenty of room to spread out and the beach was a 5-10 minute walk down the road (you could also drive down and park if you had a lot of beach gear); the entrance is a little hidden, so don't be afraid to go down some of those alleyways that aren't marked "private" to see if there's an entrance. The house has a beautiful outdoor deck for drinking your coffee and watching the sun come up over the mountains. It was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom, everything was clean and inviting, and our local property manager was very responsive when we had questions. Our view was fantastic with the mountains in the background and lots of exotic birds singing to us in the mornings. We went in mid-March, and even with spring break, our beach was quiet. The house has a lot of equipment for the beach too (chairs, bucket and shovels, snorkeling equipment, boogie board, coolers, umbrellas, noodles, etc.) -- definitely take advantage of the snorkeling equipment because the snorkeling at Tunnels Beach was amazing. We saw lots of beautiful fish and rock formations. I wouldn't recommend renting bikes to keep at the house as there are no nearby bike paths and the roadway is very narrow with lots of sharp curves that you can't see around. The nearest town is Hanalei, about a 15 minute drive from our house. There was a small grocery store there with most of the basics, but if you wanted a grocery store with a greater variety, you need to drive to Princeville, which is about 25-30 minutes away. Also lots of good restaurants and cute shops in Hanalei, as well as an outstanding kayaking/paddleboard business where you could paddle up or down the river toward the ocean or into a wildlife refuge. Absolutely fabulous and even a beginner can do it. Be aware that this house is located on the far northern side of the island and even though the distance from the airport to the house isn't far in miles, it takes an hour and a half to get there from Lihue, because of the winding, narrow coastal roads (with beautiful views) you take, so you'll definitely want to rent a car. This is what made it so tranquil though. We were close to Hanalei, which is touristy, but we felt more like locals because we were in a somewhat "rural" area, close to Haena State Park. Loved every minute of it and were sad to leave.

This house is wonderful in every way! Location right next to beautiful park, and walking distance to one of the worlds best beaches , private, quite, parking, super clean! Well stocked even beach towels, beach chairs, ice cooler, beach hammocks. The management is super responsive and very nice.

We had a fantastic week at this very nice house. It's in a great location, just a short walk (about a quarter of a mile) to one of the most beautiful (and best snorkeling) beaches on Kauai. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac with several other homes, off the main road. We love the north shore of Kauai, and if you haven't visited yet you need to go! The house was immaculately clean and very well appointed. They had beach towels, beach chairs, plenty of supplies, and by far the best-appointed kitchen in a vacation home we've ever seen. Everything worked. Even the knives are sharp! The communication was top-notch. We never had a question about what to do. And when there was a brief power-outage on the entire north shore one night the staff from Elite Pacific reached out right away by text to let us know about it, give us any information they had, and tell us where lanterns were stored. It was impressive. Can't recommend this place more highly!

The house is very comfortable and very well-stocked, from cooking supplies to toys/umbrellas/beach equipment to towels to toiletries to games. Other folks have mentioned the lack of AC - we did not have any issue with this at all. There was a constant breeze and the house has fans throughout. We could not have been more comfortable. Tunnels Beach is a 5 minute walk. Because parking is limited, the beach was never crowded. The snorkeling was amazing and you can walk several miles along the beach, a nice bonus b/c the views keep changing. My husband and I celebrated our 25the wedding vow renewal on Tunnels and had our 3 children in attendance. It was a beautiful spot and the house was wonderful. Overall, we could not recommend the place more highly.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is particularly well equipped for travelers that would like to cook their own food. Our host was attentive and friendly and reached out several times to make sure we had what we needed.

The property manager was very helpful, with great communication from start to finish. I would stay here again and recommend to friends without hesitation. Bed in master bedroom is super-soft (only bed we used), pressure and heat in the shower is good, and the kitchen is organized well. We loved the peaceful location close to the beach and away from the crowds.

We loved our stay here, tunnels beach was within walking distance and is so breathtakingly beautiful. The house was clean and well stocked and we made good use of the outdoor shower. The bed could have been comfier, but overall a great stay !

After being cooped up in my covid box since the summer, I needed a solid get away with my girlfriend. Kaui seemed like the perfect spot. I did not want to be in a resort with elevators and crowded amenities, so I booked this vacation for two weeks after new year to avoid the masses. The location was perfect, on the north shore about 15 minutes west of the town of Hanalei. It was far enough from town to feel remote (need to cross about 5 1-way bridges), but close enough to grab food and supplies. From the house it was a quick 5min walk to Tunnels beach. The house provided everything we needed. We used the new gas BBQ almost every night, cooking the freshest Ahi, Mahi Mahi, Ono, and Salmon I've ever had the pleasure of preparing, along with organic fruits and veggies purchased at the farmer's markets. A bit further from the house was Kilauea where we'd go to get excellent espresso and matcha latte's from a top notch barista, fresh pressed juices, and fresh fish from the fish market or grocery store (much better groceries than in Hanalei or Princeville). We also loved to eat lunch over the amazing views at Nourish, an organic vegan farm to table food stand. Tunnels beach was super peaceful with very few folks on the beach. The reef is way out, so while surfers were catching massive waves the beach was nice and calm for swimming and snorkeling. The house provided us with a large beach bag, towels, umbrellas, and bamboo mats to sit on, as well as snorkels and masks. We had an amazing afternoon at the Limahuli Garden & Preserve botanical garden which was a 30min. walk from the house. We mistakenly showed up around 4:30pm to find the place was empty... it took us a while to realize it closed at 3pm, but it didn't stop us from doing the full tour (was MUCH better than wearing a mask and socially distancing from tourists ;)). Another day we took a ride down to Kapaa where we hiked the Sleeping Giant which was a great workout with amazing photo ops. The one unexpected "issue" we found was that the island is loaded with chickens and roosters who liked to welcome in the new day. Fortunately we brought along a bluetooth speaker to drown them out with white noise. I highly recommend this trick for anyone renting a house in Kaui (I assume hotels keep them away). While the house wasn't the nicest property I've had the pleasure of renting on AirBnB, it was more than adequate considering the amount of time you want to be out of the house while enjoying this magical island. We loved the house and how remote it was. We enjoyed Tunnels Beach which was a short walk from the house and how close it was to the Na Pali Coast. We enjoyed the restaurants in Hanalei. It was a fantastic place to spend a week and relax.

This location was wonderful for us. Although on a little cul de sac, the next private driveway led directly onto tunnels beach (about 1 ½ block walk) so we saw many sun rises & sunsets from the beach. Entry & communication were seamless. We loved the fluffy beach towels. The beds were quite comfortable. The upstairs loft has 2 small twins and no chairs or closet and overlooks the living room. Hanalei is about 20 minutes easy and beautiful drive. We had a reservation for Bar Acuda (fantastic- many veg options) and Postcard. But also loved the holy grail taro donuts & other food trucks. Don’t forget to make reservations if you want to hike kalalau trail, take a boat ride on na Pali coast, or visit the exquisite Limahuli Botanical Gardens. We liked oh swell at the little market near to the rental awesome as well. We would stay here again. A bit pricy—but the ease to the beach and clean, comfortable, location alluring!

The location is fantastic and the house is clean and comfortable. We had a great stay (5 adults) and loved being able to walk to Tunnels Beach and watch the sunset every night.

We love the north shore and this home is perfect!!!!!! The house is beautiful and clean and quiet, we had a wonderful trip, would definitely try and book this home again. Great communication if needed, couldn’t be happier.

Amazing place, just a couple blocks off tunnels beach, clean and plenty of space for our family of six!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. The location just can’t be beat, literally a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach with a backdrop of stunning lush mountains and cliffs. We saw dozens of different varieties of tropical fish, turtles and seals when the waves were calm enough to snorkel. The sunrises and sunsets produced brilliant, vivid colors in the sky and sea that were picture perfect. The beds were cozy and our kids loved their loft. There is no AC but the fans work well to keep things comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare nearly every meal at home right down to the garlic press (although the chefs knife was missing from the block). We especially appreciated all the beach gear provided (snorkeling gear, chairs, umbrella, insulated cooler, matts, towels, frisbee, paddle ball and even big beach bags for carrying it all). Hanalei Bay is adorable, had everything you need and is just a short beautiful drive away. We want to come back every year!

Nice short hike to the beach. Very comfortable home with a great design, including a functional kitchen and a great upstairs loft space. Perfect for the three of us. It’s hard to beat the location near Tunnels. The property manager, Sophia, went out of her way to help accommodate our arrival needs, which where impacted by the Kuhio mudslide construction schedule. Would gladly return.

This property is amazing! It has been updated and it is well taken care of. It is in a quite area of Hanea. It is a 20 minute drive to Hanalei but it is literally on tunnels beach. It took 5 minutes in the jungle path walk. We went out and snorkeled every morning and watched the sunset every night. I have already recommended it to friends and we will be booking it in the future as well.

Very comfortable house with well equipped kitchen. All the appliances you could need, spices and a wonderful welcome basket with assorted tropical fruits, coffee, and other goodies!

Great place to stay for a little getaway in nature. It had a very unique jungle feel to it which we loved but definitely ran into a few critters and could hear every little noise outside so be prepared. The house was clean and felt very roomy. The location was great. The hike to the beach was worth it, we loved Tunnels beach and appreciated the snorkel gear provided. We saw some pretty cool fish there! The only thing that bothered me was the expensive cleaning fee since it was just me and my husband and we still had to wash all the towels. Overall this was a great place and we would love to stay again if we visit the island again.

Great place. We loved the drive back and forth to town when we needed to. Hanalei was great for some shopping and dining. The fresh seafood market was a hit for us. Most of our dining was done at the house. Pots and pans and utensils were all there for us. The location was perfect for walking to the insane/amazing beaches nearby. The host was quick w responses and recommendations for organic groceries and local fare on our way in. Outdoor shower was a hit. The porch was a regular meal spot. Check in was a breeze. Check out was just as easy. Bing. Bang. Boom. Def would return...
