Hanalei Bay Resort 7307/08

Our family enjoyed staying in this apartment for a week. It was clean and well-organized with everything we needed. We have stayed in two other units at the same property over the last few years, and this one has the best furnishings, including kitchen items, among them. Thank you for keeping up the quality, Gather.

Fantastic location, close to everything, great setup with pool, private pool, great condo space, well-equipped, we had everything we needed and more. Couldn't have been a more fantastic vacation!

I loved it from the moment we checked in! The staff was helpful and nice. The beach at the bottom of the cliff is fun to snorkel at. The pool is perfect. It was nice to talk with the general manager several times. He made his presence often and was very kind. Golf carts were super helpful for travel and heads up… that’s the only thing that you should be aware of… unless you want to hike up the hill to your car, call the golf guy and you just need to wait for a minute sometimes. They were incredibly responsive. Mahalo!

We were grateful for the amenities and supplies in the condo. It was one of the best-equipped places we have stayed. The pots and pans were in amazing condition. Parking situation could be improved, but the amazing views and wonderful condo were well worth it! Thank you! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful stay and this property. The views were fabulous and we loved the Hanalei town for great restaurants. We didn’t get to use much of the property (like pool) but it all looked great. We would come again.

Beautiful location and views. Accommodation was well stocked. Resort had a lot to offer including a great pool and places to eat. Staff were very friendly.

These condos were wonderful for our large family. The beauty of the view and the grounds/surroundings simply cannot be beat. We would return to this rental in a heartbeat.

Something for everyone, and enough space to sit, relax and be together as family. Easy walk to the beach, or stay by the pool. House has chairs and cooler to go for the day. Relaxing!

This Beautiful property was larger than pictures show with high ceilings, spacious interiors, well appointed kitchen, beach & tennis toys, gorgeous fragrant flowers at the front entrance & sweeping views of resort & beach from decks. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful, bellmen always courteous & carts to beach prompt & an easy ride to the beach. Property Manager was very responsive to our questions & Concierge contacted us. I highly recommend this property & hope to return.

Hanalei Bay "Resort" condo 7307/08 is fantastic. It has a wonderful view from the lanai with great furniture both inside and on the lanai. The kitchen is stocked with all great appliances and pots, pans, plates, everything you need. There were a few "minor" issues we told the management company about but nothing not to be expected in a rental unit.

The only negative is the "resort". While the condo is great, the resort is not. You need to understand what you are getting into here so read the TripAdvisor reviews about the hotel itself. They charge a large resort and parking fee and don't offer any amenities anymore and the parking lot is always a hassle. Don't expect to eat at HBR for breakfast or lunch and you can barely get dinner at Happy Talk. It's a good thing this condo is nicely stocked because you will be cooking most of your food.

The views from the main balcony are hard to beat. Our family had a wonderful time here. The pools are great and you can walk down a (steep, but doable) path to the beach, or drive to Hanalei, Anini, or elsewhere. The restaurant on-site is not very good, but they have good drinks, and there are tons of options nearby. The resort has bellmen with golf carts who will drive you all over for free, which was very handy and our kids really enjoyed. Have fun!

Wonderful property located in one of the best spots on the island! Perfect location with so many outdoor activities and beautiful beaches nearby. We had 8 in our group and all slept comfortably and had plenty of room. The main master bed was so comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning and the overall property was very relaxing and tropical. I loved the pool and spa area too. The condo was decorated beautifully and we loved having amenities provided like beach chairs and umbrella. The property’s golf carts will take you to the nearby beach easily with a quick call. Perfect in every way! Only negatives for some might be that you walk up three flights of stairs, but it didn’t bother us at all. Also, the parking lot can fill up quickly at night so it’s not always easy to find a spot. All in all, it was prefect and we can’t wait to return in the future! 5 stars all the way!

The condo was perfect for our group and views of the bay were amazing! We loved using the pools, fitness center, barbecues and especially the beach access trail. We had a great time and would love to come back.

The views from the balcony are spectacular. The staff was willing and able to help in any way. Get used to the chickens/roosters as they are every where on this island, but we plan to return as our time was too short. You can walk to Queen's Bath and Turtle Cave from this property (about one mile each way).

Very clean and great location.

We absolutely loved our time at this condo. If you've never been to Hanalei Bay Resort, it is a little slice of heaven. Princeville is the best part of Kauai and HBR is in the best part of Princeville (in my humble opinion!) Pictures never do justice of the views from this place. The condo was clean, and we have no complaints. Some things we thought the owners should maybe consider having are a pack-n-play, a small highchair, umbrella for the beach, and binoculars. There were some things that went wrong during our stay, but the management company rectified the problems in a way that made us happy which is all we could ask for! Would definitely come back 🙂

The views are great and it is in a wonderful location! Lots of amenities on the property to enjoy as well.

We had a wonderful stay. Great property. The only thing I would add to the listing is that it is a three story walk up with no elevator. This wasn’t an issue for us and they had plenty of staff to help carrying up groceries and luggage but could be a problem for some. Overall wonderful location.

5 stars on this property for our overall experience. The condo was very clean, had everything we needed and felt like home for the 5 days we were there. Easy check in process. The property overall is stunning - lush, green and well manicured. The two pools are easily accessible, although you will want to make the trek to the larger of the two for the "tropical oasis" feel to it. The condo itself had amazing views and the views did not feel obstructed by other buildings on the property although there were some b/w this balcony and the bay/mountains beyond. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs etc. and everything we needed in the condo was there right when we realized we needed it (ex. extension cord, pots and pans etc). The loft was spacious, though sound traveled up from below and vice versa, so if someone was trying to work/sleep up there it can be a bit noisy. Also, the circular staircase up to the loft is beautiful and convenient, but I would not recommend letting small children climb it alone (steep plus a little slippery). There were some nice touches, like fresh mats at all the doors and in the bathrooms, chocolates left for us on the table, and comfortable furniture that you actually wanted to sit on. We never did figure out the TVs although there were 4 of them (including 1 in the loft) so if someone was so inclined they had their choice. One note on the condo location - it is not close to where you park and the lobby, so if you have luggage/groceries you will need to have the bellman drive you there in a golf cart. We asked for a late checkout and they accommodated our needs perfectly. I would stay at this property again, and would recommend it to my friends and family.
