Haupu Hale at Poipu

Spacious and clean.  Nice and bright and quiet at end of culdesac.  The layout took some navigating as the interior access for the three (3) first floor bedrooms all went through one of the bedrooms.

This was exactly what we needed for 8 people. We had plenty of space for sleeping and gathering. It is a beautiful home with a balcony overlooking the golf course. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac and very quiet. Great showers and plenty of hot water for 8 people showing within a couple of hours of one another. Two sets of washer and dryers. We loved it!

The home worked wonderfully for our family including 5 teenagers! We loved the thoughtful welcome treats and the beach towels and had all of the basics and a little extra! We had enough space to enjoy active days exploring Kauai and come home and relax with enough space for teens to decompress and enjoy the next day! Thank you so much for everything!

Our stay could not have been more perfect. From the breathtaking interior to the view from each balcony. We also were grateful to be able to utilize the beach equipment that is available in the garage. All in all a perfect stay. Thank you ✨

The home was beautiful and had great views right on the golf course. The beds were large and comfortable, great kitchen island to gather around, loved the large, round table that fit 8. A/C and large fans in every room as well as hugh tv's! We loved having 3 full bathrooms and another half bath as well as washer/dryer upstairs and in the garage. Great to have use of the garage and the many beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys. The outdoor shower with hot water was a big help to keep the house sand free. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, close to stores and beaches. I'd highly recommend this home for your next visit to Poipu!

The house was amazing. Plenty of room for 2 families with children traveling together. We always looked forward to coming back to the house after an adventure. The location is perfect, it felt like we were in Poipu and Koloa at the same time.

This place was wonderful. Everyone had a wonderful time. House was beautiful and spacious. Accommodated it us for our trip..We did t get to use the hot tub but place gave us a discount. We played on their green putt putt course which was fun and enjoyed watching other golfers….We would stay again

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean & tidy, and perfectly located with access to many restaurants and only a short drive to the beach. Our hosts were very accommodating & responsive. Highly recommend this listing for anyone staying on the south shore of Kauai.

Our stay was wonderful. The main living area was way more spacious than the pictures made it seem. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast everyday. The layout downstairs was unique but each room had access from outside so that was nice. There was an outdoor shower which was a fun surprise. The property management team was very communicative and proactive. Would definitely book again.

Great place for families.

This home is gorgeous and the golf course view with ocean background, stunning. Spacious and gleaming it was a fabulous choice for our family of 8, including two adult children, their spouses, a 6YO, 3YO and baby. Also, the kitchen had everything we could need and more. My son-in-law is a chef and was delighted! We had an exhilarating day snorkeling- sea turtles and dolphins! We’re a tennis family, too, and the included membership of nearby Poipu Athletic Club was fantastic! Our little ones loved the “sandy beach” there and fun pool play. The restaurant there is wonderful, too! Property manager, Bryan was immediately responsive and handled questions with kindness. I will say the bottom floor has an interesting lay-out, with an inter-joining room, but worked well enough for our family. We all loved the home immensely and didn’t want to leave!

We came to Kauai Hawaii to have a family reunion with cousins whom some of us haven't seen in 40 years.  We came from the east coast, mid-west and west coast of the Continental United States and from Asia.  Hawaii was the midpoint. Haupu Hale at Poipu is a beautiful rental home.  Appreciated the welcome gift of snacks and a bottle of Mai Tai as well as essential amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and liquid hand soap in all the bathrooms.  The bedrooms and kitchen were thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need or want.The kitchen was very spacious and was the center of our daily gathering. They had beach towels for our use, 2 boogie boards and 11 folding chairs to take to the beach.  The house was very technologically advanced with very large smart tv's and all rooms had split air conditoners which was very economical with ceiling fans to help circulate the cool air. The furnishings were tasteful and simple. All rooms had sliding patio doors to help bring the light in from outside with lanais to sit outside and enjoy the Hawaiian sunrise and sunset.  We have a few avid golfers in the family, so they appreciated that the house was located on a golf course and enjoyed waking up to it.  Loved the high ceilings. The house had many windows that gave the place a light, airy feeling.We appreciated the availability of a washer and dryer in the master bedroom and another set out in the garage. The garage for our use was a 2 car garage which was nice and the driveway was spacious. We were mindful of not bringing sand or dirt into the house, so the outdoor shower was a nice amenity.The dishwasher's wheel castors in the lower basket kept falling off when we would roll the basket in and out and seemed to be damaged as they would not stay on. We had to keep putting them back on again and again. Otherwise, the dishwasher worked beautifully.The one and only great disappointment with our experience was we found the trash compactor in the kitchen full of old garbage that should have been disposed of before our arrival.  Flies came out once we opened the compactor.  The following morning, we found maggots crawling on the kitchen floor when we woke up to make our morning coffee.  We disposed of the garbage and the maggots ourselves and was swatting flies.  We called the property manager about this and he was quite apologetic about it.  Going forward, we hope the lesson learned is the place should have a final visual check before the next occupant comes.  We also appreciate that Property Manager Bryan Patterson was so responsive and very accommodating to our reasonable requests. He has great soft skills. His assistant Property Manger Kenny stopped by in person to see if there was anything else he could do for us to make our stay pleasant and memorable.  Both Bryan and Kenny were professional and kind. If there was anything we needed to address, we felt they were always available and willing to help.  We would have given 5 stars if not for the flies and maggots.  Despite that unsavory experience, we still enjoyed our stay at Haupu Hale at Poipu and would come back again.  We felt like we were at home away from home.. Mahalo nui loa!

Everything was perfect. I would definitely like to stay here again.

This place is beautiful super clean and had everything that my family needed the kids love the putting green and the view is really nice too

We had 10 adults and this house fit the bill. Layout of the house worked out great and location on the golf course was really nice. It would have been PERFECT if there was not construction going on next door, but this is not the fault of the the rental company or homeowner. The amenities were great, living areas were big and spacious and exceeded our expectations.

First time in Kauai, and this property was chosen for easy access to the Grand Hyatt Kauai where I was attending a conference. I travelled with spouse, kids, mother and a friend. 7 people in total. I found the layout was great for a group where some need some privacy, which is easy to do here with separate bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The kids stayed in the back room downstairs on the two twin beds and the pull out mattress. Mom stayed on a king, wife and I on the other king and friend in his own suite upstairs off the kitchen. A couple things you should know is that one of the king beds is in a room that you walk through to get to the other king bed room and the room with the two twins, so whoever stays in that bed could have folks passing through at times. Other than that, the place was amazing! End of a quiet cul-de-sac on a golf course and for us that was perfect. Nice and quiet. Would stay here again!
