Holua Kai #20

We loved this house!!! Everyone in my family agreed that it was the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. It was amazing to have a private pool, an amazing view of the ocean, and we liked that the location was removed from the bustle of Kona but close enough to get there quickly. We would totally stay there again!

素晴らしいお部屋でした。 占有空間の広さや環境も申し分なく、説明どおり。お部屋は掲載されている写真よりも素敵でした。キッチンは広く、洗濯機はとても機能が高く、必要なものはなんでも揃っていたので、2家族でとても快適に過ごせました。プールは子どもたちが遊ぶのにちょうどいいサイズで毎日楽しみました。 プールが故障していたのですが、連絡するとその日のうちに修理に来てくれました。 ハーバーや中心地にも車で20分くらいで、使いやすいスーパーマーケットも10分ほど走ればあります。 また近いうちに訪れたいと思います。

Gorgeous spot for me, my teenage daughter, and my 87-year-old mom. She stayed in the downstairs suite and loved the big bathroom and walk-in shower with marble bench. Everything was perfect for all three of us to have our own bedroom and bathroom. The view from the balcony off the primary bedroom was great for dolphin and whale watching. The sunset every evening from the hot tub was a highlight. The kitchen has every appliance and everything for all of your cooking needs. We left a couple of masks and snorkels for future guests. The only surprise was how completely empty the fridge and pantry was -- used to having a few more spices and staples, but we quickly filled it up from the nearby KTA. It was a great home base from which to see all of the island. A gorgeous house, and the pool and hot tub and large lanai and ceiling fans (in addition to the AC) make this a no-brainer for a perfect stay!

Such a lovely home! We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If you want to swim in your own private pool while you watch whales this is the place for you!!

The Jacuzzi was a great benefit. Quiet, private area. The golfers were entertaining... When they hit the house next door! Customer service was responsive and helpful when trying to understand a visiting cat.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Kona home. The house itself is beautiful, with high-quality finishes throughout and everything feeling well cared for and thoughtfully designed. The ocean and golf course views are stunning and made mornings and evenings especially memorable. The community is private, gated, and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved having access to the pool and spa, which were great for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we have already booked our next stay. Highly recommended.

Location was perfect for our needs - we were at a pickleball tournament at the neighboring courts. View was fantastic.

The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed (and more!). The pool was perfect, the neighborhood quiet, and the location couldn’t be better. The team was very responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful setting on the golf course with great views of the pacific. The home was well stocked for us to cook. We enjoyed the private pool and hot tub as well. We would recommend to our family and friends.

This house is in a very quiet neighborhood overlooking a golf course and the ocean. The home was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed. I really appreciated the extra towels by the pool. My teenagers loved having their own rooms and bathrooms while my husband and I enjoyed our privacy in the spacious primary suite. I would change nothing about our weeklong stay at this property. We can’t wait to come back.

The home had everything we could possibly need. The pool and spa were amazing to use, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing great meals. The sunsets from the backyard were stunning. There were grocery stores and restaurants just a short drive away. The management team was outstanding and responded quickly to every need. A couple of items weren’t functioning quite right, but they were remedied immediately. I would definitely book through Elite/Gather again when I need a rental home or villa in the 808!

My friends and I spent 10 wonderful days in this beautiful beachfront home. Much of that time was spent on the lanai enjoying the spectacular ocean views, feeling the cool island breeze, playing in the pool, or relaxing in the hot tub. Although it is in a community setting, the layout and the landscaping make it feel very private. Each day, there are paddle boarders, kayaks, and sailboats going by. The inside of the home is also beautiful and roomy, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. There is a large kitchen for those who want to cook (and lots of fresh fish, fruit, nuts, and herbs in the area to cook with). The home is well located and very accessible to many activities in the area. There are lots of great places to eat that range from food trucks downtown to hillside, beach view restaurants. Our hosts were very gracious in answering our questions and providing us with suggestions on things to try and places to explore. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay for your next visit to the big island.

The house at Holua Kai is delightful. We were very pleased with all elements including how easily it accommodated our family and how comfortable it was. The site of the house overlooking the ocean and the golf hole was spectacular, especially at the end of the day looking at the sunset. The interior was well appointed with ample bedrooms and accommodations. The kitchen worked extremely well and appliances were up to date. The subdivision was very quiet and the residents and other guests were very friendly and helpful. It was like a home away from home including having an office set-up that worked very well with WiFi capability that worked for my business. The pool and jacuzzi were well maintained as was the landscaping all around the house. We liked the house so much that we have rescheduled a return trip at the beginning of 2025.  

We frequently visit the Islands and few homes compare! All is even better than in the photos. Spectacular sunsets and soulful moon risings glimmered above this expansive ocean view. We felt like Ali’i (royalty) in our private oasis. It’s apparent that much love was woven into every detail of this gorgeous, well maintained getaway. We rented this superb home for our family in June of 2023 for our first ever trip to Hawaii. We could not have asked for a better experience. Ten of us stayed for ten days and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house was comfortable, impeccably clean, and quiet. There were gorgeous views and beautiful sunsets every evening, that could be enjoyed from the small pool or hot tub. Some of us even claimed to see the famous Hawaiian \"green flash\" just as the sun disappeared below the horizon. The kitchen was well stocked, and between it and the grill we ate most of our meals in house saving us money on our food budget. We were centrally located, just minutes from downtown Kona, grocery stores and any other amenities. We spent the week playing golf and pickle ball, and learning to surf. We snorkeled, swam with Mantas, visited volcanoes, coffee plantations, and botanical gardens, returning every evening to drinks and dinner together in what to us seemed like luxurious accommodations.

We enjoyed a 10 day stay at Holua Kai 20 last summer and never wanted to leave. Ocean views, pool, hot tub, spacious bedrooms perfectly appointed. Excellent access to Keahou Harbor, golf course and ample grocery store (and shave ice!) just up the road. Convenient access to downtown Kona without the noise and bustle of town. A great jump off point to explore points south as well. Really could not have asked for a better location or hosts, who were available to answer all questions and very accommodating. Garage complete with all toys you could want on the Kona Coast. Will return!
