Holua Kai #26

Our two families absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed after four nights of car camping on Maui and this was the exact luxury we were looking for. Sitting on the patio watching the waves and sunset was such a beautiful and peaceful thing to do. The house is well equipped, we were easily able to cook the Mahi-mahi we caught for our family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub after our days of adventure or even after beach days. The course gave a local area rate for staying here, which was a nice bonus. We would 100% stay here again!!

Gather is a terrific management team. The property itself is gorgeous, with the view of the 2d hole of the Kona Country Club and the Pacific Ocean looking exactly like the photos at sunset! Every night had that special "wow, this is what Hawaii is all about". The furnishings, kitchen, layout etc were all great. What you won't be able to discern without reading all the details about the property is that there is no direct access to the oceanfront and that the shoreline is rocky with strong waves (much like the rest of the Big Island). Because we had not been to the Big Island, we had in mind a sandy beach just a 5-minute walk from the lanai pool/spa area. This is a FYI only -- not a criticism of Gather or the property. We'd go back!

The house was amazing.  The ability to open the back way doors and walk out into the porch, overlooking the pool, golf course and ocean was just breathtaking.  The kitchen was very well appointed and the pantry was stocked with more sharable basics than any other home I have stayed in before.  It is not walkable to anything, but it's so perfect there were days we didn't need or want to leave.  So happy we made this choice.  It was worth the expense.

Beautiful home in a great location. Traveled with a group of 7 adults and 5 young children and had plenty of space and sleeping arrangements. We used the pool and hot tub every day. Parking and check-in super easy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with a lot of comfortable beds.  Spectacular view and a great lani with a micro pool and hot tub.  Good location too.  Had a minor problem and it was fixed within hours. Very responsive host.  I would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful home just as pictured. Very private and peaceful setting with stunning sunset views each night. Close to lots of restaurants, shops, and activities. Great communication from the host. Would definitely recommend!

The home was amazing. Thank you for sharing your space with us. It was perfect for our 3 sets of adults plus a toddler.

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily. The kitchen was well stocked, and all the bedrooms are nice and private. We hope to come back one day!

This was our first visit to the Big Island, and we truly enjoyed the house, location, and views. The house allowed us to host another couple for 4 nights with plenty of room and nice accommodations for all of us. We enjoy the private pool, hot tub every evening, while watching a fantastic sunset. The daily activity of the golfers on the 2nd hole of the Kona Country Club was a great way to enjoy your morning coffee, sitting on the patio while admiring the Pacific Ocean. The bedrooms are all nice, and there are plenty of other day beds for a large family. Lastly, it was terrific to stay at a place that had a well-equipped Kitchen, and a very nice grill for the evening we decided to cook and stay in.

Everything was great. Very clean, everything we needed and was nice for family. View was fantastic.

This place is fantastic with gorgeous views and a well-equipped home. I would recommend to anyone and there is a good amount of room in the home. The 3 bathrooms are extremely convenient and the kitchen is easy to use. The outdoor living area makes a great extension to the home and we spent a ton of time outside. This is conveniently located close to things to do in Kona. Thank you.

Everything about this home was awesome. It was probably the first home we stayed in where the home was actually nicer than the pictures represented on the website. Overall very nice home, clean, and well stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The view out off of the back porch was simply amazing…..sunsets were extraordinary. Pool/spa was easy to use.

Nice place. Clean. great views of the ocean and golf course. Close to everything. Plenty of space for a family also has upgraded appliances. Good place to stay if visiting the Kona side of the island. We had to stay at 2 properties due to our length of stay and Gather was great to work with at both properties.

Super responsive and very helpful hosts. The house is great and has amazing sunset views overlooking the Pacific. We had a great trip and would recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Kona.

Beautiful and spacious! The AC vents kinda sucked. Upstairs everyone was freezing and downstairs everyone was hot. Other then that thank you for everything! We had a great time!

Beautiful beautiful house and backyard only thing I would complain about is more kitchen utilities and beach items. For a house this nice that should be a huge plus. Overall beautiful beautiful view which is truly what your paying for!!!

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation

We stayed 4 nights in January. Overall this was a 10/10 stay. The house itself is spacious and feels brand new. It was extremely well kept and clean. It seems the cleaning fee actually seems to be going to some purpose! All the appliances and bathrooms worked perfectly. There was central AC which was really luxurious. The house had enough space for 7 adults and 3 children in our group. It definitely felt like we were staying at a professional property as opposed to someone's residence. The pool and lanai are what put this house over the top. If you have kids, I cannot overstate the convenience of having your own pool. It provided endless enjoyment in between excursions on the island. The pool water itself was super clean and maintained. With a big group it was easier to cook a lot of meals than find space in restaurants, and the cooks in our group loved the high-end kitchen. I feel the price we paid was a good value for our large group, given the memories made here!

This property was just as advertised. Amazing location! The sunsets were like we have never seen before. It was our first visit to the Big Island and definitely won’t be our last. We loved this property and would definitely book this again for future trips.

Beautiful views of ocean and golf course. The house is spotless. The ocean is closer that it appears in the pictures. Hot tub and pool were clean and perfect temperatures. High end kitchen appliances and outdoor grill. Beds were very comfortable and there was a nice assortment of chairs,snorkels, umbrellas for the beach. We would rent again or recommend to friends with families.

This house was the most beautiful house my family and I have stayed at. The view is remarkable and it had every single amenity we needed. Fully stocked kitchen and very very clean. Bedrooms were all nice and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed every bit of this house. We can’t wait to return one day.

Incredible place. Hosts were through, accurate, attentive and available. Place was in a great spot, away from main part of Kona, but close enough to everything we needed. The lanai was one of our favorite spots to take in the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets nightly, with dinner. Thank you, to everyone involved in this stay.

Fabulous luxury home, in a secluded quiet community, on the golf course, with amazing sunsets, and a wonderful backyard pool & tub for relaxation at the end of an adventurous day at nearby beaches, hikes, shopping. We also enjoyed experiencing the southern side of Kona which felt unique and near the vibrant Ali'i community. A stay we will always remember. Thanks to the hosts, who ensured our stay was seamless.

The pictures do not begin to do this property justice! An amazing escape. The house is well equipped for just about everything you could need. The backyard view is fantastic, and the balcony view is amazing! Would go back again without hesitation.

Loved our stay! Worked great for our 3 families with 6, 4, and 10 month old. Locations seemed central to most things we did. Easy and nice to just stay at the home and relax in the pool/hot tub/lanai with a beautiful ocean view though. Great sunsets. Quiet neighborhood, golf course does mow lawns early though which prevented us from keeping our door open in the master bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, well appointed house with great views in a good location. We had a great stay and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lanai each day with views of whales and beautiful sunsets. It was perfect for our party of six.

Fantastic place to stay. Lots of space and very luxurious rooms. Love the pool and hot tub for star gazing. Close to all the dive shops and great location as a staging point for longer trips to the Northern and Southern attractions.

This was my first trip to Hawaii and I was celebrating my birthday with friends. Everything about this home is spectacular and the view…stunning! Watched every sunset right from the backyard. Property management was very responsive and helpful. Clean, modern, spacious home with every amenity needed to be beyond comfortable. It was everything I hoped it to be and more.

Gorgeous house with a stunning view! Well appointed in the kitchen-you actually have pans to cook! Plenty of cookware, plates, and glasses. The whole house is chill and relaxing. Close to lovely restaurants and beaches in Kailua, and lots of amazing things to see south of Kona. Beds are very comfortable-and great to have two king rooms! Fit our families with 5 kids well, although teens would probably not love the more public room with 3 beds. Good communication through out stay and before. Late checkout was nice although pricey. Very glad it was an option.

Beautiful home, the view overlooking the water is amazing. So relaxing and the furnishings made it special and had everything imaginable. Kitchen is first class & Bedrooms too. I will be back and plan to stay here again.

We recently had a family reunion vacation in Kona Hawaii at Holua Kai #26. The entire vacation experience exceeded my expectations! The home is spacious with amazing views of the Pacific ocean and Hole 2 of the Kona country club golf course. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped with comfortable beds, linens and spread out for privacy and relaxation. The kitchen opens up to the spacious back patio and is well appointed to make as many meals from home as you wish! Especially love the 5 in 1 monogram oven, the ninja blender and waffle iron! The hot tub and infinity pool are also amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful home. Great place for families. House was clean and well appointed. Amenities were great. If you want a house that is perfect for a family that is relaxing and quiet this is the place. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway destination.

Pictures posted on site are as accurate as they get and did not disappoint! With a group of 9, it was the perfect place with more than enough space for all. The views of the ocean are AMAZING. Beautiful sunsets in the pool or hot tub. Loved that it was part of a gated community which requires a code to get in. We were easily able to do order groceries via Instacart. Location was a little distanced from activities/beaches we wanted to go to but it just depends on what your travel itinerary looks like! Overall, we LOVED everything about that place! We called the day we arrived and requested an early check in which they were able to do and was really appreciated after a long flight. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for 5 star stay. For sure planning on staying here again! P.s. they have a waffle maker and a K cup machine which was great for breakfast!

Very spacious, with beautiful views. The private pool/spa was just perfect for our family. All appliances were top notch, and we had more than enough plates, pans, utensils, towels, etc. for the entire week. Our large family of 9 people were accommodated nicely.

We had an amazing time here! The view of the ocean sunset from the patio was breathtaking and, as a bonus, it overlooked a golf course. The house is new with a great floor plan and very spacious. It comfortably slept 6 adults and 3 kids. We loved our stay!

Mahalo for sharing your happy place at Holua Kai #26! We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary and our sisters 52nd birthday. This was the perfect home to celebrate with family in luxury and style. Loved starting our day with a cup of Kona on the patio while hearing the ocean waves and watching golfers try to nail the 2nd hole putting green. In addition to the amazing views, a fabulous spa and infinity pool, this home has the most comfortable beds with top-of-the-line linens, so each day we awoke feeling restored and ready for adventure. Thank you for a well-appointed gourmet kitchen with the convection oven and induction cook top!

The Kona Country Club is a beautiful golf course with picturesque ocean views, especially the back 9. We enjoyed exploring the Big Islands many adventures, shopping, farmers markets and beaches nearby and then returning here for the unforgettable sunsets! We also enjoyed the security and comfort of a gated community.

Our special celebration dinner was at the Canoe House – highly recommended for 1st class service, delicious food with ocean front ambience. We look forward to a return visit to your happy place for the greatest of all times! Aloha!
