Nice house to accommodate large group.

The view was spectacular and the house accommodated our large group easily. With ages ranging from 80 to 1, all were comfortable. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly. We highly recommend this vacation home for anyone. Plenty to do and see within minutes from the house.

Beautiful house in a great location with nice views . My family and I had a nice relaxing stay . It’s a great place to relax and have some peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend.

The house was absolutely perfect for my family of 14. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked which is a huge benefit since we cooked our dinners in. The pool and hot tub had the most beautiful views! I highly recommend this home!

We had a lovely stay at Honu Hale. There were five of us, and each of us got our own room. 

The layout is a little funky. The primary suite is just off the kitchen/living room area. The rest of the bedrooms are on the other side of the house. 

When you go up the stairs, to the right are two bedrooms that share a bathroom: one has a bunk bed and a twin bed  - maybe there's a trundle bed here?; the second one has a king sized bed and a crib. That shared bathroom has a regular tub with a shower/tub combo, and double sinks. 

If you go up the stairs to the left, there is a bedroom with a king bed (I think) and a small bathroom with a sink and shower. On the other side of that bathroom is another bedroom with a queen sized bed - that room has a separate entrance, but if you're using it for a kid, they'll need to go through the first bedroom and the bathroom to get to it.

Good kitchen and well stocked with plates and kitchen stuff.

The pool is not heated - was cool but useable in Dec.

Our family had an awesome time. The view is amazing. The pool area is a perfect spot to have your morning coffee.

This property was perfect for our group.  It provided adequate beds and bathrooms.  The close proximity to beaches and food was great.  It offered spectacular views of the ocean and evening sunsets.  The pool and spa were enjoyed as well.  The property manager was informative and even allowed us to check in early.  We would definitely stay here again!

I've rented a few places in the past, and I've never had an opportunity to rent a location this amazing. This rental is a 20 out of 10. Sleep capacity was amazing, kitchen size and lounging areas allowed my party the space to enjoy each other while giving others the chance to enjoy personal time. The pool and outdoor area allow you to enjoy the coastline's amazing sunsets. This location will not disappoint. My party of 16 was able to walk away satisfied. The ability to text the owner/manager was met with fast responses. I didn't read any of the reviews prior to our stay, but I can say that whatever issues that were problems before have been resolved. All major appliances worked flawlessly. Given the opportunity to return to Kona (Big Island), I will seek to schedule my travels around this property's availability.

This is a beautiful home, nice pool, amazing view of city and ocean. SUV came in handy for very steep driveway, car needed to get to beach and shopping. Amazing restaurants in Kona. The Mauca Meadows Kona Coffee Garden in Kona was also beautiful.

Gorgeous view and beautiful home.

The house was just as beautiful as show in the pictures. Perfect location. A few miles from everything you need. Close to Shopping, groceries or sight seeing, yet far enough to feel like you and your family are in their own little world. There was 10 adults and 3 toddlers in my family, and we had more than enough sleeping space. The view from the pool deck is priceless. Thanks for having us.

We were a family group of 12, and our ages ranged from two to 72. Honu Hale was a perfect fit for our active family. The Big Cousins (ages four to 12) loved the bunk room and played many games of hide and seek throughout the house. All five of the cousins, as well as we adults, enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and eating our meals outside. We grown ups also thoroughly enjoyed each spectacular sunset and the beautiful night sky that followed. Many wonderful family memories were created during our stay, and we all fell in love with Kona. Here are the activities we enjoyed when you could pry us away from Honu Hale: —Swimming with manta rays —Parasailing —Snorkeling at two different beaches —Visiting a coffee farm and its lava tubes —Picnicking at Kilauea while watching the volcano erupt —Creating family memories for all 12 of us

The home itself is larger than the pictures show, huge pool, incredible views and well stocked with everything you need. The hosts were so accommodating and kind-unlike some of the other rental hosts that we reached out to-and it was that that made us choose this home to begin with. But we were not expecting everything to be as lovely as it was. Anyways, 5 stars and we hope to come back sometime!

This place was the perfect location for our family retreat.  The pool was a big hit with all the "water babies"!  Had plenty of room to have our own spaces, yet congregate for family gatherings.  Thanks!

Awesome views with gorgeous sunsets. The pool and hot tub kept our group entertained all day. The house feels tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but it is only minutes away from the main hub of Kona.

A really fun house to stay at in Kona! The location is great, the views are breathtaking (that sunset!!) and we all loved the pool! It was also great to be able to eat outdoors as a big group. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups or families looking for a home base while they explore the Big Island. We are grateful to have found it!

Really nice home. Great location, really nice pool and hot tub. Great for a staycation with Wi-Fi and enough rooms for everyone to work from.

We enjoyed our stay there, but we had one person that had issues with stairs but we made it work for this stay. No handicap access.

This was a well appointed home fit for a large family. There were plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, extra sheets, etc. The view from the pool is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The location allowed us to go just about anywhere of interest in this area within 15 minutes or so. The driveway incline is a little harrowing until you get used to it! We loved this place, but it could use a coat of paint and some replacement tiles around the pool. Elite Pacific managers were just wonderful! They were so quick to help when we needed them and happy to answer all my questions. We hope to be back someday!

This property is as perfect for our group. So much space so everyone felt comfortable! The view was breathtaking and the pool and hot tub were so great

Had a great time. Place was clean and the staff was very helpful. They were very accommodating with date changes due to covid. I recommend booking your vacation needs through them.

Amazing experience! Overall it was in a great location minutes from the beach the house is great with bedroom locations if your sleeping on the pull out bed hopefully its been replaced that's all I am saying. The pool was amazing and played multiple Chess games! The drive way is extremely steep so its just better to park down on the road! You will have an amazing time!!!

House was clean and a great space for our group. The views are beautiful and it was really nice having the large patio for watching the sunset. The hosts were very responsive: during our stay the coffee machine stopped working and later that day they replaced it. Thanks for an enjoyable time and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! It is a perfect house for large groups — plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The house was also stocked with extra linens which we appreciated to help with laundry during our 2 week stay. We loved the large outdoor table for group dinners during sunset. The pool and hot tub overlooking an ocean view also made for some amazing times of relaxation and sunset photos! We hope to rent this house again for future stays!

Large house to accommodate 17 people, few issues but we’re remedy quickly by management company. Driveway is steep but it’s worth it for the view.

Great ocean view with a nice pool and outdoor dining and seating. Clean big house with lots of sleeping space perfect for our trip with three families - 5 rooms and also two study/play areas each with a sofa bed. House is well equipped with lots of amenities for cooking and kids water play including snorkeling gears, floaties, and beach towels. All rooms have AC except for the kids room with double beds (but lots of fans). The rooms on the top floor (kids room and one bedroom) were a bit hot during the days we stayed so we had to move the kids in with us in the same room. Just an FYI: The house is on a hill and the driveway is quite steep. There is enough parking space for three cars but not much space in front of garage so a bit hard to turn the cars around. 10 min from Kona downtown area and very convenient location. We had no major issues with the house during stay other than unfortunate timing of road construction work going on every workday that generates quite some noise during working hours. Overall we had a great time and won’t hesitate to come back again!

A beautiful house, with an amazing view. The pool was a perfect way to end the day of adventuring. We would love to stay here again.

We had a fantastic time in Kona. The house was large enough for all 14 of us to spread out. When we first arrived it took us awhile to find all the rooms. I got lost! When we were home we spent most of our time outside by the pool. I wish there were more chairs though. Several were broken so we couldn't all eat together. Everyone used the hot tub and the chess set was a big hit. The location is very convenient and the view is beautiful, especially at sunset. The only downside was backing down the steep driveway LOL, but by the last day we were all used to it. Most of the issues were promptly taken care of when we called. If you need a large house for several people this is the house to get.

House is spread out so everyone can have their space. Very clean and has everything you will need. Towels, beach stuff, anything you need in the kitchen they have. Awesome house and amazing views. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

The property was beautiful. It was clean and very spacious. The view is amazing.

Great place to stay. Had everything we needed and more. We had plenty of space for 12 people. The kids loved the pool. The hot tub didn't get real hot but still was nice. We called about a clogged sink and they were right out to fix it. We would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful place to stay with a family or large group. Everything is provided that you might need. Would recommend it to anyone.
