Honu O Kai (Turtle of the Sea)

The house was amazing and the view even better. The kids truly enjoyed using the pool and the pool table. We enjoyed the amazing views for coffee in the morning and wine at night watching the sunset. The house is very roomy and clean, we really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, a nice large cooler, snorkeling gear, and two large beach umbrellas. Thank You! The ONLY complaint I had was a neighbor must have a rooster or something cause I kept hearing it in the mornings. Didn’t bother me at all but I could see how it may bother some. Also, driveway is pretty steep. Again, not a bother to me but may bother others. Would we rent the property again? Absolutely, we LOVED it!

Great house! Central location, lots of space and a great pool

Absolutely beautiful, spacious home with gorgeous views in an ipscale neighborhood. We spent our mornings and evenings overlooking the ocean and enjoying the soft breezes and the enjoyable sounds of the Coqui frogs from the Lanai. Spent downtime when we weren't touring in the swimming pool. Very close to all the shops, tour locations and restaurants on Ali'i. Highly recommend this place, but maybe not during spring break when the price doubles. I would gladly stay here again. Recommendation: grab some paper plates, plastic wear and storage bags for leftover foods. we had 8 people and were running the dishwasher a lot.

Thus property us absolutely fantastic! Enjoyed everything! The only thing I would mention is the shower doors in master bath do not open wide enough for a large person like myself! I did make it work though! Everything else excellent!

Amazing views and spacious house! There was more than enough space for everyone and it was stocked with everything we could need. Check in was easy and house was clean and just as described. One thing to be aware of is the extremely steep driveway, it can get slippery when it rains!

We really enjoyed our time! Elite Pacific was easy to communicate with and very accommodating with us during our early check in and late check out. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious for our family of 7. The pool was cleaned throughout our time there too. The view from the balcony is breathtaking!!! Would recommend this sopt and company to anyone. They also connected us with Hawaii Concierge services and we had activitylies scheduled weeks before our vacation.

The house was equipped with everything needed during our stay. Very spacious and roomy. The views are amazing! The only complaint from some family members, we're from those who stayed in bedrooms that did not have an in-wall AC unit. Management was nice, and were quick to resolve the minor issues we had during our stay. Overall, GREAT property. Definitely recommend for big families.

My family and I were blown away by this home! Everything was perfect! The home had everything you could possibly need! The host thought about everything! You don’t have to worry about getting in late and running to the store for essential items, everything is there! The home was clean, the location was great, the views were phenomenal! I just can’t say enough about this home! We will never forget this vacation thanks to this fantastic home!

You would be silly not to book this place. We stayed for a week with a large group made up of multiple families. The set up of the home is great for large groups. The yard and pool area is amazing and made several amazing memories for our group. The central location of the home is hard to beat and the sunsets from this deck will take your breath away!

We had a great experience at this property and with Elite Pacific. They were professional and easy to deal with and the place is just wonderful. View is incredible, location convenient, and the kids loved the pool. It was nice to have pool toys available so they could hop right in and play. Highly recommend this property.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this home! The view is SPECTACULAR and everything was to our liking. The location is also great and close to town. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating! Definitely recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Honu O Kai! What a beautiful view! We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding so we really didn't spend as much time at the house as we'd liked to have, but the time there was always relaxing. It was very nice to take a dip in the pool after a long day of wedding activities. We appreciated the items made available to us during our stay including an ice chest, sand toys and beach chairs to name a few. Next time we're in the area, we'd love to stay at the Honu O Kai again.

This was the perfecgt space for our famiy for a week. Seven adults, lots of privacy and places to either be together or if someone needed privacy, there were many options. 4 large bedrooms, 3 baths. Master suite is lovely with wonderful views. The pool was great to return to each afternoon after the beach or site seeing. I think I counted 13 ceiing fans to help keep the air moving! Large living room and dining area. Kitchen allowed multiple "cooks" to all be working at the same time. Lots of pool and beach toys in the garage and a large washer and dryer.

This property was awesome! The view was amazing of the ocean and Kona below. The pool was enjoyed by our whole family. My 3 year old grandson said it was the best part of the trip. Lots of pool toys are available in the garage. We all had a lot of room to spread out in the common spaces. The space behind the house has tropical land which has wild turkeys and other birds. Lots of gekkos and frogs can be found around the yard. The location was a short drive to downtown restaurants, local beaches, Kona marketplaces and stores like Target, Walmart and Costco. This was such a perfect vacation stay. We would definately rent this property again if we come back to Hawaii.

The view was magnificent! The house was stocked well with all the beach going items (chairs, masks, flippers, boogie boards) and a great selection of pool toys. The pool was a highlight and such a great way to come home and cool off as the house wasn’t air conditioned except two bedrooms.

super nice house, great view! unfortunately during our stay, there was construction in the neighborhood so only got some peaceful non construction noise in evenings and on the weekend days. The house is in a very good location, very convenient to most things. Lots of stuff in garage (tubes,rafts,fins,coolers, etc). A few more pillows in master bedroom with pillowcases would be nice. We found a couple extra pillows but no linens for them and there is a window a/c unit in 2 of the bedrooms but the other bedrooms didn't have and it would get pretty warm during the day, and main living area/kitchen would get very hot as well. House def needs more fans and that would've helped a lot. The pool was awesome and loved having the bar area w/fridge off the pool area for drinks etc.

We truly loved the house! Gorgeous view, away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. Anything you need is at the property. Regular coffee pot, hair dryers, pool toys, beach towels and toys. We would definitely recommend it again and again! We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of space for everyone, including air mattresses if needed.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The sunsets were breathtaking every day. The home was equipped with everything we needed from plenty of beach towels to kitchen supplies. The gifted Kona coffee ensured we all left with a new love of the coffee from this area. The home was clean and spacious. There were 8 of us and we never felt like we needed any more room. We had an issue with the fire alarms and the property manager was over right away to help fix the issue. The pool was a welcomed treat every night. Can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Holualoa. The view from the decks were stunning. Every night we gathered to watch the sun set and every morning we enjoyed the quietness of watching the ocean become alive with boats and people. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave.

The house was more than we expected! There were 10 of us and all slept comfortably. It was equipped with everything you needed! My whole family wished we would have booked it longer! Amazing home! Especially the view!

Often times rental pictures don’t live up to the reality. This place was bigger and better than we imagined. A very nice surprise indeed. It was excellent! Worth the money

We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. The view was beautiful and the house was big and accommodated our needs. The swimming pool was a used all the time. We had a great time. If you are a coffee drinker make sure you bring your own coffee, other than that everything was stocked and available. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!! We will definitely stay here again!

We just stayed at this property with our family which consisted of 8 adults (4 couples) and 1 baby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a huge house with plenty of space for everyone. Just a heads up that the house does not have A/C throughout, only in 2 bedrooms, but it was fine for us. You get the nice island breeze with all the windows and doors open. It even felt a tad cool at night. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because there are frogs that whistle pretty much all night. The kitchen is well stocked with pot and pans, small appliances, dishes, and utensils. There are 2 fridges which was helpful. There are tons of pool and beach stuff in the garage. The pool is great. You have an amazing view of Kailua-Kona. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and spacious home that accommodated our family of 7. So clean and spacious and we were all very comfortable! We also enjoyed the heated pool some while staying. The view of the Pacific is worth staying there alone honestly, the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever seen! The neighbors have a few huskeys, that barked to warn their owners of company from time to time but it didn’t bother us. Very happy guests here!
