This is really a beautiful house in a perfect setting. It is steps from a gorgeous beach in a bay with great snorkeling. The house itself is incredibly well stocked with anything you could need including snorkel equipment, beach chairs etc. The separate guest house is also well appointed and a unique addition to the main house. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach in front of the house is public so there will be people walking by occasionally, but nothing that bothered us. Overall, highly recommend.
What a gorgeous house in a great location on the West coast of Hawai’i. Situated between two resort areas north of the Kona airport, this house is isolated enough to feel serene and a little isolated but still 10 minutes from a solid grocery store. The actual house is so well decorated, thoughtfully arranged and well appointed. The kitchen felt like we were at home. The laundry is very convenient and having so many toilets meant no fights over bathroom time too. 🙂 Beach outside the back yard meant a quick snorkel was no big deal- and the reef was full of different species of fish and sea life. We’d love to stay here again when our path leads us back to the Big Island.
This spacious, modern, well-equipped home on a a snorkeling beach was a wonderful spot for our family gathering. Snorkel equipment, boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs and beach towels were provided. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds and linens comfortable. Communication was clear and made checking in simple. Off the beaten path, quiet, a sense of being in nature. As parents of adult children, we were pleased to have our own space in the separate guest house.
This home, the property, the adjacent snorkeling cove made for a memorable and outstanding experience for our family reunion. So well stocked, comfortable beds, great outdoor showers, beach equipment. It would be tempting to never leave the area - but the wonderful Hawaii island needs to be explored.
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The neighborhood is quiet and secluded, the beach truly could not be any closer or more beautiful. The hosts were prompt and accommodating when we needed a repair done. Everything felt very thoughtful and intentionally designed - we especially loved cooking in the big open kitchen, eating meals around the table in the gazebo, and saying hello to the geckos in the outdoor showers. The grounds are also wonderful with the beautiful birds, the vegetation, and the constant sound of the waves. It is a beautiful home base for a restful Big Island vacation. It definitely met our expectations. Our only complaint has nothing to do with the property, but it would have been nice to have a couple of beach umbrellas and some extra beach loungers to take to the beach to watch the whales. (Yes- we saw whales breaching from our beach.)
The houses were recently renovated and look great. The views are delightful and it’s peaceful.
