We had a wonderful stay! The house is in a great location, a quick drive to our favorite spots in Honolulu and an easy walk to Whole Foods and other restaurants/shops. It does get quite hot and stuffy inside, but all of the fans and the split A/C in the bedrooms work great. Loved having the pool, spent a lot of afternoons floating around!

Loved this place! Friendly, quiet block that’s a quick drive or walk to all that you need & want to do on O’ahu. The amount of living space is incredible & it’s well-equipped with just about everything you might need for an extended stay. The only thing to be aware of in the hotter months is that the a/c is only in the bedrooms so the living spaces aren’t a/c level cool in the daytime. But it’s fine with the fans if you like the warmth & it’s probably not an issue during the rest of the year. Plus the pool is always right there, perfect to cool off! (There is a deep end so keep an eye on kids who aren’t strong swimmers yet.) And best of all, the management team is super responsive & resolved any little issues quickly. Loved that regular cleanings were included & scheduled so it was one less thing to do. Highly recommend, felt like home!

But I would take the following into consideration when booking this place for a long stay: AC units in the two bedrooms are nice and quiet but as another guest noted, the rest of the house gets hot. This is where price/value is a personal decision. It gets very uncomfortable in the afternoons even with the fans on, and the extra back room got too hot by noon to use as my remote workspace. While property management are very nice, they are not the most responsive compared with our other stays, and it took extra calls to get a few minor issues addressed. Finally, we had to live out of our luggage b/c there were no dressers or shelves and thus we never felt fully settled in for a long-term stay. That said, we ultimately netted a positive experience and had a good stay.
Wonderful place. The neighborhood was quiet, and we loved having the pool 2 steps out the sliding door. The pool was cleaned regularly and had a saltwater filter, which kept the water pristine. The living rooms and kitchen got a bit stuffy around mid-day since the only AC units were in the bedrooms, but we were there in the heat of summer so it wasn’t too bad all things considered. We just hopped in the pool anytime we got too warm. The communications were also great. Had a few minor/normal issues and questions come up in our 2.5 month stay that were immediately taken care of.
Fabulous stay - beautiful home, great neighborhood!
by Gita TIf you're interested in sharing the view of a tiny slice of Waikiki from an overcrowded apartment, then there's a bunch of places that you'll probably like better; this probably isn't the place for you. If you're interested in a more authentic Honolulu experience, complete with Italian sports-cars parked in the otherwise-unassuming houses down the block and a quiet beach that's a walk down the road, then this might be for you. We are always grateful when we're able to find a quiet little nook that we can call home-base for our travels; a place from which we can go on adventures and explore a place which we can feel like "home" once we're done exploring. This was exactly that kind of place for us while we explored Honolulu and Oahu. By the end of our time there, it truly felt like "home" and we were sad we had to go. But this trip was a bit different too; we wanted a place that not only was a good "home base," but also was a good place that the three of us could work remotely. This also fit that bill quite well. We had multiple daily video conferences happening via Zoom & Teams and never missed a beat. In fact, if it weren't for the sounds of the tropical birds, cooing during meetings, no one would have known we weren't home. Opening up the windows, the sweet, fresh, cool breeze filled the house -- like the house was breathing. And whenever we had the urge, we jumped into the pool for a relaxing swim. The close proximity to the mall was a bonus as there's plenty of eating selections available when we just wanted to let someone else do the cooking, but didn't want to sit in traffic. There's a limited view from the house itself, so if that's the kind of thing you're interested in, then you should keep looking. But for us, we got to see some of the most beautiful sunrises of our lives during our stay; we got to go out and find our favorite sunrise beach -- because it wasn't just outside the window. For that, I'm grateful & I'd definitely do it again.
