Kona Alii 201

We enjoyed our stay. We've stayed at another condo in this building so we wanted to be in this same location.  The amenities were provided as described but everything seemed on the cheaper side like thin toilet paper, toiletries.  It was fine for what we needed but noticeable in comparison to other places we've stayed where the extra mile is taken for such things. This unit is by the elevator which I was worried about at first but didnt turn out to be as noisy expected.  This unit is right on the road so you feel like you're right in the hustle and bustle. We knew what to expect since we've been here before so It didn't bother us and we enjoyed the people watching. The pool is nice and clean and I like the designated parking spot.  We saw a whale from the lanai one morning. Super easy access to everything. We'd consider staying here again.

Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location!!! Check-in process easy. Parking was a bit tight. Our large suv was a challenge to park but we managed. Gather was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

We loved our stay! Loved hearing the waves and being able to walk to many restaurants. very comfortable condo. It can get a little noisy from the road below, but everything else made up for it.

This property is awesome.and the view is unmatched. We enjoyed just sitting on the Lanai and hearing the waves, watchin people go by, and of course the sunset. Loved that it was right in the middle of town and could walk to everything.

Very nice condo in good condition, excellent central location, convenient parking.  AC works well, but note that it is necessary to keep the bedroom door open at night for cool air to circulate.  A few small things short of a 5-star review, but I would definitely stay here again.  Well-equipped and a good value.

海の目の前のオーシャンビューでエアコン、駐車場も付いていて快適でした。バスルームが２つあったので2人同時にシャワーを使えるのも良かったです。シャワーの水圧も強く快適でした。１つのバスルームにはバスタブもありました。調理器具とお皿類、いくつかの調味料もあったので料理も問題なく出来ました。徒歩圏内にいくつもお店があり、急に何か食べたくなっても選択肢がいくつもあり良かったです。前の道路は交通量が多く、大音量で音楽を流しながら走る車も通りますが、そういう車はたまに通るだけなのでそこまで気にならなかったです。部屋からの景色がとても良く、目の前の海でイルカが跳ねているのも見えました。またコナに来たらここに泊まりたいです。This room has a great view and clean.All of the necessary equipments and amenities were prepared.Two bathrooms and the pressure of the shower was great.I would like to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at a condo they hosted in Kona. The condo was perfectly located along the most historic drive on the big island. Tons of great restaurants, bars, shopping, tours, and beaches nearby. We got picked up for 3 tours nearly right outside and always ate within 10 minutes walking for the week never eating at the same place twice. The views from the balcony were truly incredible greeting you every time you take a break back at the condo. It was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our trip! Gather was super responsive and helped out whenever we needed something.

This location is the perfect place to walk downtown. The view is the best. Enjoyed hearing the ocean everyday.

We really enjoyed the view of the waves even though there were electricity cables partially obstructing. The directions and check-in process were very clear and the unit was very well equipped. Being within walking distance of most outdoor destinations.

I love this place, Kona Ali’i. The view is beautiful. It is on the very busy street, but nights are quiet. You do not hear any noise. Lots of restaurants and stores. You do not hear any tenants around you. Very quiet place.

This place was a little hard to find for a first timer, Android Auto led me to Alii Drive.  The key boxes were randomly placed so it took a while to find 201.  The entry way was very dark in the late afternoon and I had to use a flashlight to read the entry pad. The living room TV is dying, it had three horizontal lines of dead LEDs at the top of the display.  Get a bigger LG at Costco.  The media instructions were useful.  If there was a lock box, I couldn't find it.  There was no good place to setup my laptop so I used the sink counter, a small workstation could be placed next to the faux banana plant.  I slept on the sofa since the bedroom TV was only streaming and I could have used a blanket but couldn't find one. The lanai view is obstructed by the coconut tree and utility lines.  There was a lot of street noise during the day, especially vehicles with the super bass funk music. Otherwise this is a very convenient location with many dining choices within walking distance.  The kitchen is outfitted very well, but needs a tablespoon measure (for coffee).  All the gear I used worked as expected. Kona water tastes terrible so I would recommend a water filter like a Brita or run a pipe to Hilo. I would consider a repeat stay, now that I know the property.

Right downtown, lovely view of the ocean minus a telephone pole. Nice to have 2 bath! Was great to have beach accessories in the house. Lots of shops, restaurants nearby

The location was perfect and the suite was very roomy and the the balcony overlooked the ocean there were ample towels and full kitchen. lots of restaurants in the area as well as easy access from the airport and for day trips

The ocean view was wonderful . It has elevators to each floor. The pool is nice and if there are any issues its just a simple call to them and problem solved .

I enjoyed my stay in this unit. I was only there for a few days and appreciated the convenient location to all the restaurants, etc. The place is very spacious with everything you would need for a longer stay.

Our family of 3 loved this condo. The Lani was our favorite spot when not exploring the island. It had a great view of the bay and always had a breeze. For us, the location was perfect along the main strip of downtown Kona with many eating establishments, attractions and beautiful sunsets. Central location to other parts of the island make quick and easy access to beaches, snorkeling, surfing and not a bad drive to volcano National park. Ac was beneficial for sleeping at night on humid days in August. There is somewhat of a homeless population on the island but the security to the building and it’s facilities was excellent! Condo was well stocked for our needs. We consider this unit a great value for a small family or couple.

Great location, yes a bit noisy at night but understandable due to location and only for a few nights. Other nights were quiet. Coffee & Breakfast on balcony in mornings watching sunrise & ocean & hearing ocean-priceless! Well appointed kitchen for all our needs. Parking spot is tight, so don’t get a giant rental. Small SUV fit tightly but it fit.

It is an older condo but it was very clean and property management was very responsive! We enjoyed being able to walk to lots of restaurants and listen to the ocean waves in the evening.

Really great location, can walk to the waterfront area and the pier. Very well-stocked with beach towers, mats, etc. Spacious for 4 adults. The lanai is amazing—large and offers a gorgeous ocean view. Could be loud since it’s off a major street but can close the windows and turn on the air conditioning. Highly recommend.

What a great place to stay in Kailua-Kona!!! It was just as we thought it would be. Reading previous reviews from other guests staying, we had a good idea of what to expect. The noise from outside traffic, didn’t affect my five star review. It was nice to have a beautiful ocean view (the power lines did not bother us one bit) and sit out side to watch the ocean and “people watch”. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the condo, except in the morning or a quick pit stop during the day. Everything in the condo was in perfect working condition, the air conditioner and the washer/dryer. It is nice there are 2 bathrooms. Just an a FYI there are no fans in the bed room, but the AC did a fine job keeping the place cool when it got warm. The mornings and evening were cool enough to open the screen to let fresh air in. It is a very spacious condo where you can lay out your luggage and still move around the condo with ease. It was easy to check in and the condo instructions were easy to follow. This is not most fancy place (a little outdated) but definitely worth the stay! Side Note: the parking spot for the unit is a little tight and watch out for people coming in and out of the building, so just a FYI! You have to try this place out!

Excellent space- super close to the water, doors open wide from the lanai to the living space making it feel like you’re always outdoors. Walk downstairs and you’re at literally 10 restaurants, coffee shops. Swim beach is a 5-10 min walk, but 1 min away is a rocky shore to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Bed is clean, shower is hot, full working kitchen, great security doors, quiet community + a free parking spot. 100% will be back and would recommend if you’re staying in Kona.

Awesome location- along Alii drive. Few steps away from bars, restaurants and the farmer’s market. Sunset view at the balcony. It took us a while to find the place the night we arrived but just don’t forget to follow the directions that Elite Pacific sends the day of arrival. Checking in was a breeze. The unit is clean- plenty of towels, washer and dryer in unit, full kitchen, beach towels, sun screen/ water toys, and coffee! They are communicative and prompt. I think they can improve on the lighting inside the unit and add more toiletries. Overall, our experience was amazing and will surely recommend this place!

Great location in Kona, close to good food with a nice view of the ocean. The apartment is large, has nice amenities, and was very clean. It isn’t very sound proof, so depending on your neighbors (or people outside at the bar next door) it can be fairly loud.

Great location. Walked to all restaurants and activities that were reserved in Kona. Overlooks the Bay. Electric wires can obscure the view and photo taking. Would want higher unit. Patio could have been cleaner. Dryer did not work and we were not told ahead of time.

This well appointed condo is right in the center of town. We walked to the local variety of shops and amazing restaurants. Every night we sat on the deck and listened to the sounds of the ocean and the local musicians playing different venues. This condo is a place for relaxing and enjoying the locale faire. You will be a couple of blocks from the farmers market, sand beaches for swimming, the pier to take a body glove whale watching boat. Perfect for a couple or family vacation!

Great unit in the heart of Kona, easy walk to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed people watching with our morning coffee and watching sunsets from the private deck. The apartment was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed (including really nice beach towels). One thing to note is that it's proximity to Alii Drive and nearby clubs & restaurants makes it a little noisy but if you close the sliding door it blocks most of the noise (and the live music shuts down at 10pm).

This review is from 2 adults and one child (8). This was the perfect location to stay in Kona. I don’t think you can find another place closer to the water, but still be in the middle of everything in Kona town. We woke up every morning listening to the waves crash against the rocks. Every morning we would have our breakfast on the balcony and enjoy our Kona coffee. Usually, our breakfast consisted of fruits that we bought from the local farmers market, only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. We were also very impressed at the size of the living room. The parking space was easy to get to and the closest space to the entrance. They seem to have everything we needed in the apartment. Boogie boards, sand chairs, sand mats, fins, extra towels, a rack to dry your cloths, and everything you would need in the full kitchen.

The location is unbelievable!! The price for location is unbeatable. Yes there was street noise but it was not all day long. The noise from the ocean was even better and so was the view!! I will definitely rent this place again!!!

Great spot in Kona, right in the middle of all the fun. To our surprise, they provided a cooler, some small folding chairs, and a couple boogie boards, all of which were very much appreciated for travelers looking to relax on the beach. Highly recommend this host.

The lanai sits just 50 ft from the seawall across the street and the view is incredible. The sun sets straight out from the lanai. The location couldn't be better for convenience and local experience. Many shops and restaurants are just steps away. I found the unit to be spacious and equipped with almost everything imaginable... omg, even a printer, paper and extra ink cartridges! Leave your binoculars at home because they have two sets in the unit for your use. Highly recommended!
