The condo is exactly as listed. Communication with host was great. Exceptional views. Condo stocked well with all you need.

Excellent place and Location. The view was astounding. We enjoyed how spacious the place was as well as the doors and windows which allowed for better airflow. 

3rd floor wrap around balcony with unobstructed ocean view was fabulous. You can snorkel just a few steps from the place (depending on the tide). Very quiet from other people. Communication was great, Check in easy, No parking issues.

The place was perfect for our family of 4. It has an oversized lanai that has an amazing view, and is perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunset. We really couldn’t ask for a better place and host. Would definitely stay again.

The unit was easy to find, easy to access, clean, and came with everything we needed. We loved how plentiful the beach towels and beach items were…chairs, snorkels, boogie board, cooler. Everything you want at the beach but don’t want to pack. We loved spending time in the spacious wrap-around porch in the morning and evening. We made a few simple meals in the kitchen and liked that they had a few pantry staples…olive oil, spices, ziplock bags. The beds were comfortable, the washer and dryer were so helpful, and the air conditioning did a good job cooling the bedrooms. At check out I forgot a high value item in the unit. The cleaning crew contacted the management and I was able to make a plan to get it back before my flight. Very helpful and much appreciated. Excellent spot. Would stay again.

We loved the beautiful ocean front condo. The best part was the gigantic lanai with incredible views and plenty of seating! Very well appointed kitchen with all we needed to prepare great meals and enjoy them on the outdoor table w sunset views. I highly recommend staying here!

Great location and layout. Views were incredible. The main room and kitchen and very warm though. Even with the breeze, you can't cool off, just be aware. The AC in bedrooms helps there.

One of the best rentals I have stayed in. The unit's location in the complex is the best as it is on the water and is a corner unit with awesome water views Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. The wrap around Lanai is immense with a very nice table for eating and numerous chairs and lounges. The unit is well equipped and and all the appliances are top shelf. Very comfortable place and I hope to return again.

The directions were very clear and it was easy to get into the property. The parking is easy and close to the unit. The unit is on the third floor, which is why it has the best views. The walk up the stairs was very easy for the three of us (all in our 60’s). There was a very nice Jacuzzi a short walk from the unit which we used every evening. There were also excellent weber barbecues that we also took advantage of. In addition, there are ping-pong tables in the same area. We cooked every meal and the kitchen was well stocked.

The view from this condo is WOW. I don't believe you can be any closer to the ocean without getting wet. Be aware that since this condo is so closed to the water, you will hear breaking waves against the rocks all day and night. If there are high surfs, expect more noise. It did not bother us at all. We kind of enjoy hearing the surfs and feeling the breeze. View aside, the overall condo is conveniently located near shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and public beaches. There are two bedrooms which are air conditioned but the main dinning living area is not. Yes, someday there are nice sea breeze to keep it cool but there are days that we wished it has a unit air conditioner. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay in unit 6301 Kona Makai. It's roomy, well stocked kitchen, plenty of bath and beach towels and other beach items for use. Did I mentioned the VIEW from our wrapped around large balcony? Great encounter with Elite Pacific Vacation on this rental condo. They are efficient, quick to reply, offer tips on the area, provided easy to read information on the unit, and kept us updated through out our stay. Over all we had a fabulous vacation experience and will definitely return. Aloha !

The location was fantastic…right on the water’s edge. It was soothing watching and listening to the waves every morning and evening. The unit is well stocked with everything needed. The best part of this condo is the lanai. It is a huge wrap-around deck with tons of room and some amazing views! We would definitely stay in this unit again!

We had a perfect stay at Kona Makai 6301 on Ali’i Drive. We were lucky to find such a hidden gem on the Big Island. We were on the third floor with a wrap-around lanai and had the best view of the ocean and all of its activities. Dolphins swam nearby regularly. Bright yellow fish. Parasailers. Each evening we had dinner on the lanai to watch the sunset in our own little paradise.

Kona Makai 6301 had all of the comforts of home and then some. We love coffee and were pleasantly surprised to see a drip coffee maker and a French Press both available. Blender, mixer, garlic press, pizza cutter: all of the kitchen tools one could ever need. There is a Britta water pitcher and an endless supply of cookware and storage bins, and a pineapple shaped serving tray that really pulls the room together. 😉

Opening the doors made for a perfect breezy climate control without needing to use the a/c or the ceiling fans available. The sound of the waves crashing against the lava rock sounded like Mother Nature singing me to sleep each night.

Directly in front of the building is prime location for snorkeling. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and so was the pool. We highly recommend Kona Makai 6301 and will definitely be back!

Penthouse condo with breath taking view. Easy communication with property management team and smooth check-in. Unit is super clean and in short distance from Kona downtown.

My family loved this condo. The view is amazing, we enjoyed our meals in the lanai everyday. The location is perfect and the condo is well stocked. We had an issue with one of the beds, but the response was immediate and resolved the same day. My family would love to come back and stay here if ever we get chance in the future. Mahalo!

This condo was JUST what we wanted for our stay in Kona. Easy parking, access to Kona area snorkeling, adventures, etc. Loved that we had a cooler, chairs, beach towels, supplies. Nice to have coffee there and other supplies to get started. If grocery shopping, there’s a nice Safeway nearby. Hosts were responsive to questions, that view over the water was simply perfect. HUGE wrap around balcony made it hard to leave.

This modern clean beautiful condo had all the comforts of home. It was perfect for 2-4 people......unless you want to sleep on a pullout couch in the living room, then add two more. Its so wonderful, I could live there forever!

Well apportioned condo with more than enough useful items you won't need to purchase from the store. With great views of the sea creatures as they pass. Only con I can think of is the guy that brings his guitar down to the BBQ area at sunset. 10 outa 10. Mahalo.

The unit was fantastic, one of the best units in the complex. It is on the top floor (third story) with a full wrap-around lanai, that provides both ocean and pool views. Ocean views were the star, but it was convenient to be able to peak down to see if the hot tub was free for a quick dip. I did not think I needed that much balcony until I had it. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped with kitchen and other supplies. We were so close to the ocean, that the waves were quite loud. We had to close the bedroom windows and doors at night to keep the volume down. We were there in late September, and even with the windows and doors closed at night, it was comfortable we did not need to turn the AC unit on.

We were very happy with our stay. The views from the gigantic lanai were incredible and it is just steps away from the ocean. The sound of the surf on the lava rocks is deafening and incredibly relaxing. We literally spent all of our time when in the unit on the lanai. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed including coffee maker, tupperwear, toaster, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Brita water pitcher in the fridge to fill our water bottles up every day (extra filters in pantry but we didn't need them). Only thing missing was the snorkeling gear, which we ended up renting from Boss Frogs. Several large coolers in the unit, a beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs. The kids loved the ping pong table out at the pool and they also enjoyed the pool. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the unit, just mornings to eat breakfast and evenings to eat dinner and watch the gorgeous sunsets. AC worked well in the bedrooms and we only used it at night when going to bed. If you open all of the sliding doors/kitchen door and also open the bedroom doors using the wedges to keep them open, a wonderful breeze goes thru the whole unit. We didn’t notice until our last day that there is a clothes line on the lanai by the master bedroom that would have been perfect to hang up wer towels and swimsuits. The showers also had tons of hooks and an extra rod in them so we used those. We found a guide book provided in the unit that was signed by the authors (located under the coffee table in the living room) and used it several times. Playing cards were found immediately by the kids and they spent evenings playing cards. We never turned on the TV so no idea if it works. With the view outside, who needs a TV??? Rental property management were easy to work with and sent numerous emails about the check in and out process. Highly recommend this unit.

The listing is completely accurate, and the unit is even better and bigger than I imagined. We cooked a great deal for our family in the unit, in order to save money and spend time on our gorgeous lanai. No restaurant in Kona had a better sunset view than we did! The kitchen was the most well-stocked with utensils and kitchen tools that I've ever seen in our many condo rentals. The bag of Kona coffee was so thoughtful and we enjoyed that gift very much. We used the Brita water filter pitcher and ice maker to fill our hydroflasks each day for our beach visits. The gas grills by the pool were very close to our unit. In the closet, here were four beach chairs, an umbrella, a small cooler (we purchased a larger one and left it in the unit for the next guests to enjoy), loads of beach towels, snorkel gear, pool noodles, tennis rackets, and even beach hats. We didn't use all of these items because we brought some of our own, but how amazing to have those things available! The unit was very clean, all appliances worked perfectly. I did laundry each day, so we always had fresh beach towels. The wi-fi was reliable, and my husband was able to answer a few work emails on his laptop from the lanai. The bedroom air conditioners were just right for keeping us cool in the evenings to sleep, but they were hardly needed. We kept all of the many sliding glass doors open the entire time we were there and the breeze was fantastic. There were also several fans in the closets and our son's best friend slept comfortably on the sofa sleeper with the ceiling and portable fan. Our bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. I cannot emphasize the spaciousness of the lanai! We all had our own little areas we enjoyed while reading, drinking coffee, eating our meals, or just gazing out at the beautiful ocean. You are RIGHT on top of the ocean practically in this unit, and will see yellow tang playing in the ocean-accessible cove directly in front of the condo. The grounds are really lovely. Many of the reviews had complaints about the quiet hours and strict rules at the pool, but we found it very peaceful and saw no one quarreling at others to be quiet, etc. Those with young children may find the quiet hours and pool rules too restrictive, but we saw many families with young ones enjoying themselves during the day/evening. Do be aware there is only A/C in the bedrooms and you must climb stairs to get to your condo on the 3rd floor. We will return to stay here again!

This is the perfect, oceanside unit! It is accurately represented in the photos, if not even more impressive in person. The large wrap around lanai is the real deal. It's accessible via every room in the house- with exception of the bathrooms of course. The views are phenomenal- You can't beat being perched up high right on the edge of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean and comfortable. There was only two of us in the unit, but my husband and I both commented that there would have been more than enough room in common areas for more guests. We wouldn't have felt cramped at all with our teenagers in tow. A lot of beach gear is provided for use and in good condition- beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and I believe some snorkel gear (we packed our own). I love not having to go out and rent these items. It saves ALOT of hassle and money. As I was reading up on the property I noticed hit and miss comments about the resort rules. I'm only 39 and quite frankly I LOVED THEM! The main rules of note are nighttime quiet times, no smoking, no telephone conversations, and no loud media on the lanais, as well as respectful use of the pool area. As noted about our teens- again, they could have easily joined us and not had a problem at all. It was SO NICE to be among folks who knew how to enjoy a vacation in a way that was lively and fun but not obnoxious. The rules are not hard to follow and really added to a pleasant 10 days. It was SO PEACEFUL. The check in process is seamless. It's nice when you get in late that first night to have all the necessary codes in your travel docs and simply let yourself in. No front desk or looking in a lockbox for keys. We would return to this property and specific unit in a heartbeat.

We loved this condo- excellent views from the balcony over the rocks. Wonderful peaceful sounds of the ocean all night with doors open. We saw whales from our balcony several times!! Running path along the road outside of the complex and coffee spot next door. Nice pool and outdoor sitting area overlooking the rocks. Excellent beds and nice kitchen with all things needed for making meals.

This unit is perfection! The condo overall was very spacious, the main living area had plenty of seating for visiting indoors. The beds and linens were high quality and very comfortable (and I am a picky sleeper!). Kitchen was well appointed with dishes, appliances, essentials and a utility drawer that had all the incidentals one might need during a week stay. The washer and dryer were very appreciated, as you can pack lightly and wash during your stay. There were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, pool noodles, coolers. etc. Everything you might need for a day on the beach. But the show stopper is really the LANAI! It is very spacious, plenty of comfortable furniture, and you are literally right on the ocean! From the lanai we saw dolphins, sea turtles, tropical fish, crabs and urchins, not to mention a perfect perch for sunsets. When not out adventuring, we could be found lounging on the lanai. The property managers were responsive to questions, and the arrival information was clear and easy. I 100% recommend this condo for a family vacation. Tip: Open all the sliders and use the screen doors to the lanai for a spectacular ocean breeze and the music of crashing waves, days and nights.

this unit we had was 100% the best! Views were better than fantastic and the way it was layed out made it hard to even want to leave. We had planned on dining out most nights just cuz we were tired of cooking and changed our minds because of that! Def recommend it to all seeking the BEST sunset views on the island! Only thing negative I would add is that the 2nd bedroom is quite small.
