Perfection! We are on the islands often and this is our first time at this property and it will not be our last. Outstanding views. Top tier for watching a local surfing spot. Amenities were impeccable.  The outdoor grill was clean and propane tanks full. Beautiful fully opening wall/windows. Clean bathrooms. It was awesome. Hats off to the hosts.... well done.

The house was awesome for our family of 11. Plenty of room, awesome views and the sound of the ocean were a hit. Property management was very responsive to our needs.

Great home base for triathlon training trip

This is the perfect house for a large family vacation. The 2 full size kitchens made cooking so easy. It also allowed adequate refrigeration for all the groceries necessary to feed a family of 12. The rooms were so comfortable and the 5 bathrooms meant no one had to wait very long. This house had it all!  Plenty of towels, beach gear, etc.  The outdoor area had incredible views and the pool/jacuzzi were such an added bonus!  Everything was flawless!  Thanks again for allowing our family to stay in such a fantastic place!

This place fit our party of 10. It is centrally located with lots of shops and things to do around it within walking distance.

The condo(s) was amazing. The separation of the units gave everyone privacy while still being together. Clean, in good repair, convenient location. Management was very responsive to our one problem with the AC unit in one bedroom and had it fixed ASAP. As always on site washer dryers were extremely convenient. The sound of the waves rang out in every room of the house and the view is spectacular. We used the grocery delivery service offered by the Gather concierge service and arrived to a fully stocked pantry and fridge! We will be back!

This was a true island experience. The three levels of the house allowed everyone to have their own space and a really great shared space on the second floor. The elevator and stairs made all floors easily accessible to everyone. The views were outstanding.

At a loss for words. Perfect for three families. The best sunsets we’ve ever seen. Simply amazing.

We stayed here 5 days. 3 generations..12 people. It was a place where there was nothing lacking, like swimming and barbeque party... Everyone was satisfied. 🙂

This property was amazing! Incredible views, great location and proximity to the beach and town, and terrific amenities.

The house was amazing for our varied age ranges and generations. Grandparents enjoyed the tub and location, kids enjoyed the pool, and adults enjoyed the hot tub. We grilled, cooked, sat outside, beach combed - all right there! The location was also perfect for getting around town and shopping. Property manager responded within the hour for a question late at night, which was much more than I expected. Gotta say, really great for our growing family.

It's as beautiful as the pictures! The house is centrally located and in a very walkable area. The beach access is very rocky with a strong current, so be careful. The pool and hot tub were lovely and it was great just to sit out back and watch the waves.

This was a perfect place for our 3-family group of nine. Each family had a separate living place on its own floor, and we used the spacious kitchen and dining table on the second floor for family meals. We also used the poolside table with ocean view. for many gatherings. The elevator came in handy for loading and unloading but wasn’t needed otherwise. The pool and hot tub were in almost constant use! When the water levels got low, Gather responded within a few hours to fill both. The pool was probably the highlight of the visit for the boys. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and ample supply of beach towels. The beach equipment got lots of use, too- snorkels, sand toys, surfboard, etc. Two minor issues - the tiles around the pool are very slippery when wet- just like the sign warns! And there’s a lot of traffic on the street, but the beachfront location more than compensated for that. Overall everything was clean, well stocked, and in excellent condition.

We stayed at Shangri La as part of a school trip where our students are studying marine biology. The house was perfect for our group as it was very close to the beach where we were able to observe many of the reef fishes that we had come to study. They were very prompt with responses to any inquires. I would recommend this rental to anybody who wishes visit Hilo.

Location is everything!! Has everything you could possibly have for your stay!!

I love the location! The little sea turtles come up to the shore to feed. Very peaceful! The concierge Eliza with Hawaii Luxe was wonderful!

We really enjoyed the property. On if the air conditioning units was jot working properly when we arrived, but Elite properties responded very quickly and the air conditioner was fixed that same day. The views are amazing. We definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone who travels with large groups or multiple families.

Super fun house for my friends and I. The top two floors were more like separate apartments. They both had their own kitchen which was great. It would be perfect for someone’s family reunion but it worked great for my friends staying together before our wedding. We didn’t use the elevator much but the big windows were very nice. The only downside is on the third floor you can only access it through the master bedroom if you don’t use the elevator. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Otherwise I recommend it.

Amazing oceanfront location! We had a great time. The separate units and large kitchens worked great for our large group. Slept every night with the sound of waves crashing.

A beautiful location but having Elite Pacific manage the rental is a real treat. They respond rapidly to any maintenance problems and were helpful setting up a private chef--who is amazing!--for a last night dinner. I would definitely have no hesitation renting from them again.

This place is wonderful. Not only is the view amazing, but the staff is very responsive and quick to meet any and all needs. I highly recommended the house or using Elite Pacific for your travels.

Convenient family vacation house, Comes with all amenities needed to enjoy, Grill, dishes, toys and boards for the beach, washer and dryer and laundry detergent, 2 pull out sofas for kids! Short walk to the beach. It was very easy to get in touch with our host.

Awesome location!! beautiful views. a bit on the pricey side but I think it's well worth it given in the 3 different floors and elevator!! my mom's knee is not capable of walking up and down stairs so it was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful location and the way the spaces were separate, it would be easy to enjoy with either a large family or 2 or 3 couples, perhaps even with kids in the extra bedrooms. Gorgeous views, nice outdoor space. Overall however, it was pretty expensive with a few maintenance things that might need correcting or upgrading. Still a very enjoyable place.

Overall we were very pleased with this house. We had a group of 11 with mostly kids (4 adults, 7 kids). The space allowed us all to spread out and have our own quarters. The house itself is definitely dated but in great shape for its age. Its placement on/near the beach was phenomenal and having the crashing of waves as your background is awesome. The downside is that the house is a bit awkward. No inside stairwells to connect the levels. Instead there is a very small (and old) elevator that you can take up and down. It is big enough for 2.5 adults and is pretty slow. That being said it gets the job done especially for luggage. If you don't want to ride the elevator, there are only stairs on the OUTSIDE which got pretty tedious after a while there. The bottom level is a studio and only accessible from the outside as the elevator on that level is outside the door to this studio. And on the 3rd floor the stairs take you to master bedroom on that level. So if you want to visit the 3rd floor you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the kitchen. Again, a bit awkward. The pool was not large but in my opinion the perfect size for taking a quick swim or lounging around. All the kids loved it and it was plenty big for them. They also enjoyed the hot tub quite a bit. The outdoor area has a nice Weber grill, ample seating area and lounge chairs. We spent many a night eating dinner and watching the sunset. My only complaint was about the tiki torches. They are prominent in the photos and video of this house. However, we could only get 3 to light on the first night and 2 the next night. The fuel was out. I contacted the property manager to see about getting more fuel and was told that was not something they provided. We were put off by this and really disappointed. I have to go buy fuel?? A bit puzzled by this especially for the nightly rate we paid. The parking seems like it would fit 4 cars but that would be a squeeze. There are 2 carport spots and 2 spots in gravel to the sides. The driveway itself is tricky because it has no visibility to the road and you have to inch out slowly to even see traffic coming. We found the best way is to back into the spots. Backing up into traffic is just too dangerous. Overall the house was great but for the price we paid I was expecting a lot more. I understand that Kona is expensive but this was above and beyond other accommodations in price.
