Lymans Bay Hale

We loved the place! It’s spacious and clean. We had lots of fun just by staying indoor playing ping pong, watching World Cup and making bbq. It’s perfect for a group of people to hang out.

Great house for a big family!

The ocean view was even better than I had imagined. The house was very spacious for our group of six adults and four children. Both kids and adults enjoyed the game room with the ping-pong and pool table, which is right next to the living room. The bedrooms were all very nice and comfortable, except for the bunk bedroom, which has no air conditioning, but we may do. It also has a very nice size kitchen. Altogether a very roomie and luxurious place to stay.

This house has lots of room! The five bedrooms were great for our family. The game room is large and very enjoyable. The host answered my many questions quickly. The only thing we didn't have that would have been nice were some big bowls in the kitchen. (very minor detail)

Our stay at the property was everything we could have asked for. Clear and concise instructions on gaining access before our arrival and they were responsive with the notes we sent in during our stay. Beautiful property at a beautiful location.

(It's literally big, the size of the three-car garage under it.) The kitchen was well equipped and easy for two cooks to navigate together. The primary suites were quite large; one has a closet bigger than my first apartment. Some of the other rooms were smaller. The one with the bunk beds was quite small for two young adults and did not have air conditioning or a ceiling fan. The location, right across the street from Lyman's Bay, allowed us to watch the surfers and the sunsets every day. If we wanted a view completely unobscured by trees, we ran across to the sea wall, but the view from the lanai off the kitchen and living room was lovely. The yoga room had an exceptional view, but it was quite warm if the air conditioner wasn't running.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lyman’s Bay - the house is large and sleeps ten. Plenty of room for eating inside and out on the deck. Beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets right across the street. Magic Sands beach one half mile away - easily walkable. Plenty of parking space. Large kitchen. Spotless clean. Air conditioners throughout when needed, but just open up the plentiful doors and windows and enjoy the breeze! All arrangements and communications were professional with easy check in and out with Electronic door lock. There is some street noise, but that is almost drowned out by the crashing waves against the lava rocks, and the views, especially at sunset, are sensational. Let’s face it, in Hawaii you don’t spend a lot of time indoors, except to sleep and eat occasionally, but if you need a large space, this is it!

5 out of 5 would definitely stay here again. The house was fantastic and great for kids. We fit 6 adults and 4 kids comfortably.

The home is very large and accommodating for up to 10 people comfortably. The views were spectacular and easy access to the rock pools. Sunrise and sunsets. The home was equipped with air conditioning in each room. Beds were large and clean. The rec room with pool table and ping pong entertained our guests. Plenty of space and outdoor living. It was a perfect space for the time we spent in Kona. Wildlife in the back and a variety of birds could be seen. Had a few inside lizards, but we enjoyed their existence. Management was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. Awesome stay!

This place really does have a beautiful view right on the water! The street is busy, but we had no trouble getting in and out of the driveway. The amount of space was great for our extended family.

Where do I even begin? This stunning home in Kona was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the breathtaking ocean views that stretched as far as the eye could see. Every morning, we were greeted by the gentle sounds of the waves crashing and the vibrant colors of the sunrise painting the sky. It was truly paradise. The location was absolutely perfect. Situated right on the oceanfront, we had direct access to a beautiful beach for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. We were also just a short walk or drive from many popular attractions, including Kona town with its charming shops and restaurants, historic sites like Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, and stunning natural wonders like Kahaluu Beach Park.

Great place to stay with the whole family. Gorgeous view of the ocean and, very spacious and convenient location.

Great space, perfect location, however the house needed some updates and cleaning.

Loved this place on the big island! Amazing property!

Wonderful location close to shopping and activities. Beach across the way was wonderful lots of surfers. All the bedrooms had individual ac units except the bunk bed room. When we arrived all units were off so it was really hot in the whole house. Cooled off in the bedrooms fairly quickly. Area was very quite at night and felt very safe. Would definitely rent again.

BEAUTIFUL house. Lots of space. The list of things that aren't amazing about this house is short: The only bedroom that's small is the bunk bed room. That room also doesn't have an air conditioning unit, and it was hot while we were there so that wasn't great. The shared bathroom is also small if you plan to have 6 people sharing it, but if those using the master bedrooms are willing to share it works out well. But other than that, everything was fantastic! Texts were answered quickly whenever we needed information. Some work had to be done on one of the garage doors, and they were very concerned with making sure that it didn't interfere in our plans. I was a little worried that we wouldn't be able to cross the street easily because Ali'i Dr can be pretty busy, but we never had any trouble. I seriously can't say enough about this house. We had 10 people: me and my husband, his parents, our 3 grown children, 2 of their spouses, and a 7 year year old grandchild, and we never felt crowded (except for those sharing the bathroom, but they worked it out). We spent a lot of time in the house, and used the heck out of the game room. My granddaughter LOVED going out looking for lizards, though I'm sure the lizards loved that a little less than she did! We explored the tide pools in the rocks every day. Granddaughter was afraid to snorkel in places where there were urchins, but felt really safe in the little protected area to the right. Seriously, so much fun and such a great house. It'll be a while before we're able to go back to Hawaii, but would absolutely stay here again!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location! We loved our stay at Lyman’s Bay Hale and hope to come back someday. The house was large and perfectly accommodated our two families of 5. Pacific Elite communicated with us often and were very responsive. We give our highest recommendation! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

The view was fantastic! It was so great to be able to wake up and drink my coffee on the balcony and watch the waves come in. If you are staying longer than about 3 days or so I would bring additional laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper and paper towels as a small started kit is provided. Communication was excellent!

We had a great time staying here - 9 people and all had plenty of space. The games room was great fun, and the house was a lovely location for exploring along the coast by car. The day we arrived we saw green turtles right across from the house!

This house was perfect for 3 families. It is spacious and beautiful. Lyman’s Bay is right across the street and we got to watch the surfers on a high surf day. The ping pong table, pool table and tv room were perfect for our family to enjoy a great time together. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful time, loved the large game room!! From the pics it looked a bit more secluded than it was, lots of people and cars ! Enjoyed watching the surfers and the waves! We had sunshine and wonderful weather! Love out stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in Kona. Property was exactly as described with everything we needed…plenty of beach towels and supplies. Great communication and help from staff when needed. Couldn’t be happier with our experience!

Very convenient location and a gorgeous view. The house was very spacious, and the balcony was wonderful for morning coffee or dinner while watching the ocean waves. Great kitchen area with a side bar too. It all worked well for our large group. The house does sit in a very busy road, so the four bedrooms downstairs did hear traffic all night. We also thought there was more of a yard in the back from the pictures- there isn’t. But it didn’t matter- no one missed hanging out in a backyard when the ocean was in the front and there was all of Hawai’i to explore. Very communicative host too! We had a great stay- thanks!

This house and location are stunning, the management company is extremely helpful and responsive, we loved our vacation here so much we can’t wait to come back!! Can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay!!!

We had a great relaxing stay! The game room was utilized by all. There was plenty of sleeping space. The bay had excellent sunsets! We were told that Lyman’s Hale Bay was a very spiritual place.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at the Lyman’s Bay home! The house was very large and was perfectly located across from the ocean. The home was turn-key from the moment we arrived. They provided everything needed to make us feel welcomed, including toiletries, paper products, beach towels, beach chairs, boogey boards, and even Kona coffee beans! The view of the water from the lanai was beautiful and there was no shortage of surfer watching. The house provides plenty of entertainment for families including a pool table and ping pong table. Also, this house was very convenient to White Sands Beach, stores and restaurants, and the launch spot for water activities that we purchased. Even the check-in and check-out procedure was very easy to follow. Lastly, their concierge service was great at helping us book water activities, such as deep sea fishing and kayaking with dolphins. We highly recommend this home for any family or group looking for a nice, turn-key place to stay on the Big Island!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect location for our family. About a ten minute drive to “down town” Kona. Several beaches also within a 5/10 minute drive. There is a beach directly across the street. Great for surfing and older kids. I only say this because it’s a very rocky beach with sea urchins. We stayed here mid June and there was a bunch of sea urchins. Totally avoidable if you’re aware, we all went in the water none of us had any issues. But I highly recommend water shoes. They make it much easier to navigate over all the volcanic rock and offer extra protection against sea urchins. The house was spacious and offered something for everyone. We enjoyed the pool table and Lani. The hot tub was an awesome surprise. Although we were so busy enjoying the island we never got to take it for a spin. I hope to book again one day! Would also recommend to my friends & family!
