by Dmitri LUnbeatable location. Everything looks even better than on the pictures. Beautiful surroundings, easy access to Mauna Kea beach by a dedicated walkway through the golf course. The house is huge and had everything we needed. There were even extra propane tanks in the garage for the grill.
The villa was incredible. Spacious, well-appointed, and amazing views!

We absolutely loved this residence and would highly recommend to anyone. The graceful layout of this unit and captured the unobstructed view of the Waikoloa coast line and pacific ocean is a memory that will not be forgotten. SO Peaceful and tranquil we felt by being here. It was a perfect place to unwind adjacent to a world class resort. Owner's vintage Hawaiian touches, artwork, high quality bedding, and kitchen amenities provided suited all of our needs and more. We hope to enjoy this unit in the near future and look forward to leisurely strolling through the gorgeous landscaped pathway downhill to Kaunaoa beach. Mahalo.

Delightful and Dreamy
by kelly sWe absolutely loved staying at this Mauna Kea Villa. The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the views were spectacular. The location is perfect for us, we had access to the hotel, all of the amenities and will re-book this villa for sure!
Pros: This house has a five star view of the water and the sunsets. It’s got a spacious lanai to enjoy the sun and a massive indoor living space for lounging. In fact, all the rooms are a generous size. There was beach gear available for use in the garage. The grounds/gardens in this development are meticulously maintained and gorgeous. The house is close enough to the Mauna Kea to walk down the hill to the beach/pool/golf/restaurants (however, if you have a lot of gear/kids/impaired mobility, the walk back up the hill to the house may be a challenge). Cons: Some of the finishes feel a little dated (light switches, ceiling fans, stove). There are literally dozens of cabinets and drawers so you may end up spending far too much time hunting for that corkscrew or set of tongs you know you remember seeing but can’t quite place. There are nearly as many light switches as there are cabinets so shutting down for the night is a whole process. The smallest bedroom (garden view with two twin beds) got excessively hot relative to the rest of the house. All in all, this place is a little more “lived in” than you might expect for a rental that is managed by a big property management company. Takeaway: This house is absolutely gorgeous, but has a few flaws that are minor annoyances rather than dealbreakers. If you are coming to the Mauna Kea, don’t want to be cooped up in a little hotel room, and don’t mind being a few minutes from all the action at the hotel, this place is great.
Wonderful home with everything you could need. We loved the location and views at the top of the hill. Great communication and easy check-in and check-out.

by Todd MNothing quite like the beach/ocean at the Mauna Kea. Our house had a stunning view, plenty of amenities and was spacious. Had problems with the internet/tv which were not resolved until a week into our stay. Scramble for beach chair locations was almost comical as folks would take towels back to their rooms and then return early in the AM to save their spots. All that aside, we've been coming to the Mauna Kea for several decades and always look forward to our returns.
