The Lawn and Seawall
The covered lanai runs along the ocean side of the house, with a long wooden dining table under a chandelier of hanging bulbs. Past the lanai the lawn opens out, two wicker chairs at its edge and two large umbrellas toward the water. Loungers line the seawall, where the bay is shallow and clear enough on calm days to see the rocks on the bottom.

The Pool Courtyard
Behind the house, the two wings bend around the pool in an L, with covered lanai along both. The round hot tub sits at the pool's edge, and pale stone pavers frame the water, warm underfoot by midday. Beside the pool, the fifth bedroom has a twin daybed with a trundle beneath it and a full bath next door. On the street side, the driveway widens into a paved court by the garage, with a pickleball net strung across it and a basketball hoop.

Living, Dining, and Kitchen
Living room, dining room, and kitchen share one open floor on the ocean side, with glass doors out to the lanai. A wall of vertical driftwood stands behind the living room sofas, and the dining table sits under a crystal chandelier. In the kitchen, a long island runs under three globe pendants, with white stools along one side. The media room is separate, with reclining seats facing a wide flat-screen and bar stools at a back counter.

Upstairs
Both primary suites face the bay from the upper floor and open through glass doors onto the same covered veranda. Each has an ensuite bath with a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The third upstairs bedroom, with two queen beds, looks toward the green ridges behind the house. For a group, the split is three bedrooms upstairs and two on the main level, one of them the pool room.

Hawai'i Kai's marina and restaurants are a short drive east, and Kahala a short drive west. Farther east, past Koko Head and Hanauma Bay, the coast road reaches Waimanalo. Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is on the far side of Honolulu.
