Overall good value, large and private space with character. Big outside kitchen. Short drive to Kona Centre.

We traveled here with our daughter and another couple. The kitchen was incredibly well stalked, both inside AND outside. An outdoor kitchen was amazing to have and be able to participate in what was happening outside while cooking. The space overall was very relaxing and we all easily spent full days at the house without feeling the need to leave.

Amazing property and great location to town and the beaches. The house is impeccably maintained, absolutely gorgeous and has everything you want/need. We loved that they had beach chairs and boogie boards in a storage bin outside to borrow and not have to buy or rent them. We did need to reach out after hours about some keys to the back bedroom and we were assisted immediately, which was great. We would definitely return to this property if we visit Kona again. I highly recommend!

Huge beautiful home,  well stocked so many fruit trees absolutely incredible

This is a great place for multiple couples. Lots of space and a good location to get to downtown Kona. If you have anyone in the party who is unsteady on their feet, this place has lots of small steps in many surprising locations—sunken living room, step in bedroom to walk out to lanai, step in tv room to walk out to lanai, step to walk out to pool area. Steps in the pool area. So, it can be tricky if you’re not careful and sure footed, especially because there are no strong visual indicators of the locations of the steps— they’re all the same color tile. For that reason I’d not recommend it for small children, disabled, or elderly guests.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the bag of coffee that came with the place, and having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all of the showers. The gardens and plants are beautiful.

The Ono Oasis property was even more impressive in real life than the listing pictures. The house was extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was enough beach equipment for our family to enjoy the area beaches.The location was great slightly up in the hills. We were able to watch the sunset from the lanai every evening. Grocery shopping was simple and the farmers market was really great.We were within 10 to 50 minute driving distance to the area's amazing beaches.My family (adults and teens) loved this house and location. We would stay here again when visiting Kona.

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Up on a hill overlooking everything. It was quiet and peaceful.the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful to accommodate us a late checkout with our late flight. Would stay here again if we come back.

Ono Oasis was everything and more! We stayed in June 2025- and were immediately in awe of the home's character and beauty in every aspect. The setting is a musical oasis of birds and Coqui frogs that welcomed us and I will miss these sounds here at home! The HUGE kitchen had everything anyone could want including a full second outside kitchen. The furniture and decor were beautiful and comfortable. I only wish I had 14 days instead of 7 to enjoy this home. I LOVED the master shower and view outside! The sunset views were amazing from the front deck. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The temps on the hill (about 700 feet elevation) were always comfortable and I Never would want or need AC in this house with the many ceiling fans ! The bath robes were a treat (for all guests) and the LARGE supply of beach towels was perfect- The washer and dryer super handy. I know the owners plan to move there full time and I will be sad if I cannot visit this property again. Thankful I did!

This Mid Century masterpiece is located in a private enclave overlooking Kona. The primary terrace had wonderful views of the ocean and was the perfect place to wake up and enjoy coffee. The home was spacious with plenty of room for my family with various hang out spots where we could be alone yet together. If you’re a mid century architecture nerd, you’ll love this place.

Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of downtown Kona. Ono Oasis was a comfortable, spacious property with all the amenities imaginable! We enjoyed our stay immensely & would highly recommend this property!

Great home and beautiful views. It is a residential area so not a lot in walking distance but a peaceful oasis nonetheless. Review my pros and cons below Pros - Beautiful home - Lots of towels and - Very private location Cons - Communication was difficult as the hosts do not use the airbnb chat feature proactively. You will need to call for immediate support - Landscapers showed up unannounced during our stay (on a different day than they disclosed they were scheduled) - back to poor communication - Not WFH friendly as the Wifi was spotty inside the house, you could only access 5g by the pool

We spent the entire week at this property with our family. Was a great experience. Would highly recommend for families that want or need to have their own private space for each individual. Plenty of room to spread out and plenty of privacy for each person.

This house was beautiful. The pool was perfect! Appreciated all the extra towels for the pool and showers. Location was very convenient! They responded quickly to any communication sent. We weren’t expecting the stairs and elevation changes throughout the house. It was a little difficult for my aunt who uses a walker. However, I’m glad I missed that because I wouldn’t have booked it, and I’m so happy we did. It was also a little challenging to locate all the light switches. Perhaps labels near the lights to tell you where the switches are? Over all, we loved staying at Ohana Oasis!

The Ono Oasis is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. It was a perfect place for a vacation with our friends!

Remarkable stay. We split up our time in Hawaii, and after staying at the Mauna Loa Resort for a few nights preceding our stay at this property, we were relieved and felt like we were “coming home” when we finally got checked in. Property is crystal clean and incredibly private. But what stood out to me right off the bat was how well the kitchen was stocked. We prepared all of our meals and the space, tools, and amenities were perfect. Loved the space, there was plenty of it. If I were forced to knock off a point or two, I’d say the view, while remarkable from the master bedroom, is hard to view from the backyard. But all said and done, incredible property, a wonderful stay, and a great end to our summer Hawaii vacation. We made wonderful memories!

My siblings and I got together for the first time in decades to clear out our mothers house. We lost both of our parents and my brother in 18 months. This place allowed us to be in a beautiful sanctuary while we processed difficult emotions and paperwork we had a limited time to review. While Kona was not a vacation destination for us this place allowed us to have that Hawaiian feeling we needed. It was three adults total. We each had our own room and bathroom to allow us to have our privacy but amazing common areas to be together. The outside kitchen was lovely as was the indoor garden. I would recommend! Much better then the three of us being in a hotel and pay more.

The living spaces are extraordinarily beautiful with fans in every room.
The outdoor eating area was a treat! We ate all of our meals out there surrounded by a lush garden with mango, banana and Star fruit trees! The waterfall is lovely as well!

The west facing Lani is the place to be for sunset through the palm trees overlooking the ocean!

The swimming pool was perfect after a long day of outings.
It is in a perfect location for day trips in any direction!
The two kitchens ( one outdoors with a perfect grill!) we’re large and well equipped.
I will tell all my friends about it as it is a comfortable beautiful home!

We loved staying at this gorgeous property during our family vacation. We loved the quiet neighborhood, complete private pool and gorgeous grounds, and how well stocked this home was. It has everything you need (laundry soap, plenty of paper towels and the bathrooms are even stocked with shampoo and body wash). The location is set high in the hills, but only a short drive down the hill and inti Kailua-Kona. We loved exploring volcano national park, Hapuna beach, kua bay/beach and snorkeling in several gorgeous locations. For those who do not love bugs, this home does have geckos, some Mosquitos near the pond, tiny cute frogs by the pond and loads of birds, but that is all to be expected in a tropical location with dense vegetation! We would highly recommend staying at this home and working with this rental company. They were fantastic!

Spacious house, with lots of room for everyone. Everything you need for your stay is there. From laundry, to cooking or beach things. The place was clean and comfortable, and the indoor garden was great, but finding every light switch was a bit of a scavenger hunt. It’s a bit far from the beach but the view on the sunset is absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood is very quiet, if not for the birds and frogs in the pond being quite loud at night, which some will find relaxing. Overall we had a very nice time here.

Wonderful location not to mention a beautiful home. It was well-supplied with everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry and not to mention towels for the beach and pool. We enjoyed using the pool, eating star fruit from the trees on the property and sitting on the lanai in the morning while drinking Kona coffee. We explored several beaches, farmers markets, coffee tours, lava tubes, Volcano National Park, snorkeling with manta rays, boogie boarding and playing frisbee on the beach.

Great venue and location. This home has everything you need and more. We will definitely stay here again

I agree with all of the positive reviews below. A wonderful place to stay - perfect for our 2-week island getaway with 3 teenagers!

The owners of this home have created a welcoming oasis in a residential neighborhood removed from the busy areas of town. It is by no means quiet, though - the birds and insects make quite a racket throughout the night. It could be a challenging environment for light sleepers … and while we loved sharing the interior with geckos, others may not. You do have to drive everywhere - nothing is walkable. But it’s lovely staying home! The house and lanai are airy and incredibly spacious, with very comfortable furnishings. There is a great deal of separation between the three bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The beds were ok - too soft for our tastes. The kitchen is well appointed; our only disappointment was having no ice, as the ice-maker was clogged & the property manager did not respond to a request to fix it. The pool is wonderful, as long as you have two bathing suits - one for the pool and one for the beach, as the waters can’t mix without an algae bloom. There was one day where the water was too low and it made a flushing sound every 5-10 minutes. The property manager didn’t respond to a call about that, either, but the pool company did, thank goodness! The price was comparable to a much less appealing condo in Princeville on Kauai, where we spent the previous 5 nights, so it felt like a good value. I would stay here again for an all-adult vacation if I were ever to go back to Kona.

Everything was great here. A little ways from a beach but Our family made forever memories and was a great place for everyone to be together.. very spacious and loved all the amenities!, We will definitely use Elite again. Thank You

There were three of us: mother, daughter, & grandmother ( who grew up on big island). Wanted daughter to experience Hawaii as grandma sort of did. We choose Ono house. Perfect for us. No AC and an open house. New little frogs are loud!!!! REALLY! We had the luxury of super appliances, salt water pool, outdoor kitchen, koi pond, (and more), with the open trade winds and fans. If you want to feel Hawaii like most Hawaiians do, Ono house is it! Great front lanai and great spaces.

Great location and great backyard. The noises of the rainforest were enchanting.

Great and spacious house! The lack of air conditioning was not a problem as the house is naturally ventilated which made it very pleasant, temperature wise. We enjoyed the pool and the outside areas! Having breakfast and dinner in the open was great. Weather wise this area seems to be prone to a lot of clouds. We drove few times to beaches up north to find consistent sun.

Absolutely amazing property and location. Our littles couldn’t get enough of the pool either! If you’re in Kona, this is the place!

This is a wonderful property. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen every night. Watching the geckos and looking for Opal. The pool is AMAZING. Good location for going anywhere on the island.
