The seven bedrooms and seven structures on the acre and-a-half of prime oceanfront land feature private and communal areas integrated with lush gardens, water features, and custom-made elements - like the hand-carved Balinese doors, pillars of 'Ohi'a logs, rounded rooflines lined with ironwood shingles and the eighty doors of lustrous native koa wood.
The main house, with its gourmet kitchen, split-level living room, and soaring 25-foot-high ceilings features island living at its best. The dining room's generous pocket doors open to the ocean over marble floors. Ascend the spiral stairway to the second-floor primary bedroom and behold the transcendent ocean views from the spacious balcony.
The gym and "Crow's Nest" lounge area of the upstairs bedroom in the Boat House looks out over the Mokulua Islands as does the Kitchen Pavilion with its own dining and sitting areas. The Japanese Bath House with sauna and meditation pond lies just beyond the Guest Cabana with its two secluded, ocean view bedrooms. The Garage House, with wood floors, bamboo walls, a full kitchen and living room, forms a spacious two bedroom-suite at tree level, with views over the verdant gardens and ponds of the courtyard.
The Pool Pavilion serves as the focal point for outdoor relaxation and informal entertaining. The lagoon-style saltwater swimming pool and spa is surrounded by flowering tropical foliage and is accented by a cascading waterfall and a Balinese hut to provide an environment of total relaxation.
Throughout the complex, charming pathways wind around tropical gardens with coconut trees waving high above. A stone fire pit, with lava benches near ocean's edge, overlooks the secluded beach cove which provides easy access to the reef protected, azure waters where guests can enjoy swimming and other water sports in relative privacy.
Guest Access
All bedrooms are en suite, fully air-conditioned and stocked with Paul Mitchell hair and bath products. Other amenities include flat screen TVs in all rooms except the private office, cable, high speed internet & intercom system. All communal areas and most bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The Neighborhood
The estate is located 15 miles east of Waikiki in the serene residential area of Lanikai which has no hotels or condominiums and its reef-protected, white-sand beach consistently is ranked among the very best in the USA. There are several golf courses, tennis facilities, great water sports activities, a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, theaters and shopping, all within a 5-15 minute drive in the adjoining community of Kailua.
Getting Around
The neighborhood is serviced by the local bus system, but a rental car or car service is highly recommended for more flexibility and convenience. There is a bicycle path to Kailua town for exercise, fun and exploration!

Occupancy Limits: Total number of occupants (adults/children & infants) allowed is fourteen (14). Without the garage house accommodations, there is a maximum of 10 people. Additional guests may be subject to a per person daily charge. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
The approval of this application at the stated rate is based on the number of occupants listed below. Any additional occupants that are found to have stayed in the premises without approval during the occupancy period will result in additional rentals of $300 per night plus applicable taxes. Without the garage house accommodations is a maximum of 10 people. Additional guests may be subject to a per person daily charge. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Only the Estate shall have the right, in it's sole discretion, to allow additional occupants to stay in the premises during the Term without payment of any additional rental by Guest, in which event, this Rental Agreement shall automatically be deemed to have been amended to allow for such additional occupants.
Security Deposit: Guests are required to make a Refundable Security Deposit to protect against damages to, and/or loss of items from the property and to assure payment of items that, when approved, may be charged to the Guest Account. The Security Deposit is $10,000 for the Paul Mitchell Estate.
Owner shall hold the Security Deposit for the full and timely performance by Guest of Guest's obligations under this Agreement, including without limitation, payment of rent, taxes, telephone charges, repairing Premises after surrender and any other charges payable by Guest under this Agreement. Owner shall not be obligated to pay interest on any portion of the Security Deposit. The Deposit will be held in the Client Account and will be refunded within 21 days of your departure. In the event of any loss or damage, a statement reflecting these costs will be sent along with a refund of the difference and/or less any charges.
Guests shall abide by the House Rules and Conditions of the Owner as provided to guests.
The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30-days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. Rates based on a 30 day rental period. Please Inquire.
