Please note that while construction is ongoing for a separate ohana on the property, the main house is fully available for rental this holiday season. Though the ohana will not be ready by Christmas, the main house remains a peaceful retreat where you can experience the beauty and comfort of Puako Beach. As an added bonus, we’re offering a special discounted rate for Christmas and New Year's stays. Rest assured, no construction will take place during the festive holidays, and with the ohana 90% complete, any remaining work will be limited to the interior and out of sight. Roadwork will occur on Puako Beach Drive between Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway and Hokuloa United Church from Monday, September 16, 2024, to Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with alternating travel, directed by personnel, and message boards will inform motorists, who are urged to drive cautiously. Residents can use the Mauna Lani emergency access road, open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The County of Hawai’i Department of Public Works thanks the community for their patience.

The spacious gourmet kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, a wine fridge, and a large marble countertop with bar seating for 4, making it the ideal socializing spot while cooking up some culinary delights to enjoy. The cozy living area is furnished with a plush couch, armchairs, and a large mounted flatscreen smart TV for prime nights of indoor entertainment while overlooking the beach views beyond. There is a small breakfast table inside that is fit for 4, or step out of the full-walled sliding doors to the grand covered lanai equipped with a large dining table fit for 10, as well as a grand barbecue grill station and several other seating & lounge options that overlook the private backyard, a perfect locale for evening festivities amidst the dazzling colors of the Hawaiian sunset or the mystical starlit night sky.

There are 2 spacious primary bedrooms that both include a king bed, private lanai, and immaculate ocean views, as well as a private ensuite. Ensuite #1 comes with a large double vanity, walk-in shower and soaking tub, while ensuite #2 has a single vanity and a walk-in shower. Guest bedroom #3 is the garden suite that includes a queen bed and a twin trundle with garden views and a private ensuite. The entire home is equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans for optimal temperature control, and also allows for ample airflow of the fresh trade winds so sweep through the space.
