Royal Kahana 308

We were on the island for a wedding and stayed at the property to tour Maui before the wedding weekend. Everything was as described, clean and comfortable.

This property delivered exactly as advertised. Super well managed/efficient process. Waking up to that view every morning was stunning! We spent a ton of time on the lanai.

Everything was wonderful, clean and a great location. Not a resort type of place very quiet.

Great beach front view from condo, we saw whales and turtles in addition to the view. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities, towels and beach stuff. Thank You

Great Location

It was just what I was looking for in a getaway and looked just like the online photos.The lanai overlooking the ocean was perfect and listening to the gentle waves while watching for turtles offshore while drinking our coffee started the day out just right. The condo was fully stocked with dishes, linens, pots and pans, and we were very happy with all of the beach items that were available for our use. There are several great beaches nearby with good snorkeling and several restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. We stopped in Lahaina for groceries on or way to the condo but there is a grocery store nearby in Napili. After we checked in, the property manager reached out to us to make sure all was well and to let us know they were there for us. All and all, we had a perfect trip and look forward to staying in this lovely condo again soon! Mahalo

Everything was beautiful. The view from our balcony was stunning. We enjoyed the pool a few times. The condo was a little dated but clean and well stocked. We even had a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts waiting for us when we arrived!

Absolutely spectacular view from our lanai. Almost everyday we could see whales from our lanai. Nice table and comfortable chairs on the lanai. You could not see the sunset from the lanai. We would watch the sunset down by the pool. Also, no sun shining on the lanai in February. I love the sun and my husband likes the shade. I spent a lot of time by the pool. Fantastic view of the ocean from the pool area. Plenty of lounges and chairs to sit on by the pool. They also had a few tables and nice grills by the pool. Condo has beach chairs, cooler, toys, and beach towels. Kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities. If you like to cook, you will need to buy spices. The kitchen could use potholders, chip clips and a scissors. The condo was clean when we arrived and nicely decorated. We appreciated our host leaving us coffee and Mauna Loa chocolate macadamia nuts. There were hard water stains in the shower and bathtub from people not cleaning up after their shower. We have hard water at our lake home. I use vinegar, dawn soap and a magic eraser. The stains will come off but a lot of scrubbing at first. If older adults with mobility issues are staying, be aware there is no hand rail in the shower. They have three elevators in the complex. The entrance to the complex is ramped. They have a ramp to the pool area and a pool chair to get in and out of the pool. The mattress was comfortable. Pillows were flat. Nice closet and plenty of drawers. We didn’t use the tv in the bedroom. Living room tv was great and sofa was comfortable. It was usually windy during our stay. This was our third time to Maui. Great location. I would definitely stay at this condo again. Hope this review was helpful.

We are so glad we booked this condo as it almost felt like you were in the ocean when you walked I. The door. Unfortunately there was a storm in Maui we were on the island. This made us appreciate have a really nice place to hang out during the downpour. Mahalo for a great stay

Spectacular views of sunrises, sunsets, whale watching and overall beauty of the island!! Perfect space for 2 with all necessary amenities!

This condo was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed during our 9 day stay. The condo has been updated and had all the amenities we needed. Parking and check-in were easy. Condo is located within walking distance of several restaurants which we walked to on occasion. My daughter walked over to Hawaiian Trade coffee every morning. Drive down to Lahaina was quick and easy. The pool and beach at the property is very nice as well. I picked this condo for my wife and 18 year old daughter and didn’t get a single complaint so very satisfied.

Great view and sunsets. Nice pool area though we didn't use it. Great grilling facilities. Easy access to beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is great and the location is perfect. Very quiet, low-key area and walking distance to several restaurants and shops and snorkel rental place. Short drive to Kanapaali or Lahaina and a couple great snorkel areas north. Pool area was great and the ocean right outside was great to swim in too!

The property was clean, well supplied and had an amazing view from the Lanai. The owner had thought of everything, from large beach towels, a rolling cooler and plenty of beach chairs!

A beautiful place, very clean room with a magnificent view over the ocean to Molokai, nice to sit on small balcony and watch the early light hit the clouds. Unfortunately our stay was one day short to due to a cancelled flight from Hawaii Airlines. The fee was nonrefundable and we hope to recover it from the airline. We will see. No quick response.

The rental agents were so easy to work with and once we were checked in any questions were answered in a promo and kind manner . My husband got very sick during this trip and had to transported to hospital by ambulance . The property managers assistant was so kind to me . Even went so far as to offer me a ride home from the hospital which was an hour away . Also checked on me the next day to see if I needed anything . If I were to rate this place on a scale of one to ten I would give an eleven !!!

Condo exceeded our expectations. Amazing view and great cross breeze to keep condo cool. We didn't have a need to use AC at all. Top notch condo and communication all around.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely touches like towels, beach chairs, sunscreen, a box of chocolates, coffee and creamer, olive oil, toiletries, salt and pepper were included. And the in unit washer and dryer always an awesome addition. Could not recommend this more!

Our stay here was excellent! Close to restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and anything you’d really need. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of towels and best of all a beautiful view from both the balcony and outside the door! Would definitely recommend this place!

Our room was beautiful and the property is very nice with pool and small beach right in front. The view from our unit was outstanding and faced northwest, so we got cool breezes and not the hot afternoon sun. A few more oven pots and tuperwares would have been nice. Our check in was delayed because of a flight cancelation, and texting with the property management company was a little wonky- we are not big texters and would have preferred to speak with someone- But this is just a personal preference. Most people seem to love texting. A special bottle of wine, cookies and chocolate were left in our room because of the arrival inconvenience. Bed was very comfortable for us. Huge TV was nice, bit we didn't use it much because so much to do. We did use the BBQ's a few times.

The view is worth the price alone! Nice updated furniture makes for comfortable views of the ocean or enjoy the balcony and the wonderful cross breeze. Only thing would maybe update tub/bath and shower curtain for a more overall enjoyable experience. That is the only thing though - beautiful unit!

Photos give an accurate description. Lots of drawers and closet storage space. AC was out while there. Thoughtfully, two portable ac units were provided, but we didn’t use them. North exposure and excellent cross ventilation is all we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and unit was clean and in good condition. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view and whale watching from the lanai. Best restaurant finds: Fond, Betty’s Beach Cafe, Honu, Mala Tavern, Beach House.

The Royal Kahana is well placed in West Maui. The building and property are nice places to stay. The kitchen is good, although the tight space makes some drawers interesting to open :). It would be nice to see some minor updates, such as the handles/knobs for turning on the tub/shower water. Overall though we had a really nice stay, and the view of the ocean was something we never got tired of. We were there during a lunar eclipse, and full moon for several nights, and those nights were quite special outdoors.

Absolutely perfect

The property was very clean, well stocked, and at a great location! We loved having the ocean front balcony, the bed was really comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. There isn't a beach at this place anymore due to beach erosion, but there are lots of great beaches that aren't too far. I would recommend renting a car so you can get around to other destinations as there isn't much within a reasonable walking distance, but a few miles in either direction with a car you can find a lot. Some of the tours we took picked up right from this location, which was really convenient. The host was also great and really responsive. 10/10 would recommend for your vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It is well appointed and conveniently located. There was an issue with the air conditioning but that didn't bother us.

My wife and I stayed for a week during our honeymoon and everything about the property was great! The unit was clearly updated recently and had all the amenities we could ask for during our stay. While we loved going to the beachfront restaurants to enjoy the sunset, none beat the view from our own balcony!

Our condo was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals, daily trips to a variety of beaches and just stare at the ocean if we needed it. Hawaii Life made it all so easy to rent, check in, and check out. They even offered us a portable air conditioner when the resort had to turn air off to all units for maintenance. We didn’t need it, the breeze kept us very comfortable. We would recommend this place to our family and friends.

Great condo. True to description in listing. Condo complex is in need of some TLC but the condo itself - great. Not sure how the air conditioner works, as I do not turn tit on. I like the doors open and the island breeze coming. June is a great month for breezes! I would rent again.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful little apartment for the week. Stunning views, clean, nice amenities, well appointed furnishings, surprisingly nice cookware and dishes, lots of free parking. Would definitely stay again! Mahalo!

We went to Maui to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our visit was perfect. It was just what we needed after 2020 AKA the gap year. We fell asleep to the waves each evening. The views especially the sunset did not disappoint. The condo provided everything we needed right down to the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and cooler for the beach. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Megan and Jeremy we great hosts. Mahalo.

Wonderful relaxing time on the lanai every day enjoying coffee and my book to watching the sunset. The booking process was easy. I had constant communication with the property manager. The condo was spotless and well maintained. The bed was comfy. I could not have asked for a better condo for my Maui vacation. I highly recommend it for its price, location, and view! I enjoyed walking to Maui Brewing Company, Dollies Pub, and the Beach House. All reasonably priced and close to the condo.

Here for a four night stay..perfect location within walking distance of the Maui Brewing Company and the best little store: Whaler's Village, that has everything at a reasonable price. The nearest resort with a fun open bar/restaurant THE BEACH HOUSE at Sands of Kahana is a short walk away and that resort does have a beach. The.pool here is perfect size, plenty of chairs and loungers available with tables and umbrellas with a beautiful ocean view...note that this property has a seasonal beach and we were aware of that when we booked..the unit is bright, inviting, updated with sealife theme! And has the most comfortable pull out sleeper sofa! I was pleasantly surprised. Slept with the slider open and heard waves crashing and sealife all night long. So relaxing...would stay here again. Some things to note in this unit, the sliders are both hard to open and close, my friend said the tv in her master room didn't work, I didn't verify this. There's also a fitness room, various activities, ping pong table, corn hole, shuffle board, I believe. This is a great bargain if you want the large lanai with the great ocean views you can't go wrong. This is my second stay at Royal Kahana but not in the same unit!

Obsessed with the view from this comfy rental. Quick drive to the best beaches; fully stocked kitchen; clean and cozy beds; quiet complex; and beach chairs, towels and cooler. Would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great time staying here and appreciated all of the included items. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available and enjoyed the beach chairs and cooler. Didn't even use the boogie boards or fishing pole but loved having the option!
