Great Location

The location of this unit was great with a large balcony that overlooked the ocean and we were able to see whales almost constantly. Unit was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Building renovations were going on during our stay but was not an issue for us. Only issue we had was the washer was not working and could not be fixed while we were onsite. Was a little bit of an issue since we were on the tail end of a 2 week trip but we managed without it

Lovely Property and Unit

Perfect location

What a beautiful condo. The layout was perfect. Basically 2 king suites and another 1/2 bath in the living area, so it was perfect for 2 couples with extra room for a couple more people if needed. Oceanfront view was amazing. Great location if you like a relaxed vacation. Several restaurants within walking distance. A few shops as well. Will definitely come back!

Really great place

Views from this condo are incredible - amazing sunsets, and we saw sea turtles from the balcony at least 20 times. Great location on the island - easy walk to snorkel rental and a few shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to Lahaina. Some casual restaurants with great views we enjoyed just a short drive away: The Gazebo, The Sea House, The Beach House. We also had a great time snorkeling just a short drive away at Slaughterhouse Beach (weird name but beautiful beach). Cold filtered water in the lobby for filling up our water bottles was great, too.

Maui getaway

We stayed with our adult children in this lovely condo. The patio was great with amazing views of blue water and sea turtles. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The condo was well appointed. The air conditioner in the master was lacking, but there were fans available, so we just put it in front of the door and took air from the living room, which was quite cold. We enjoyed this property and would recommend with hesitation.

What a view, what a great unit

As soon as we opened the door the first word I heard was "Wow". The unit is very tastefully furnished and has everything you would want to have an outstanding experience. Yes it's that beautiful

The unit is exactly as it appears in the pictures! Stunning views from the lanai, with plenty of seating. Great location very close to Lahaina center, approx 1 hr to Wailea, and approx 1 hr to beginning of "road to Hana". 2 little convenience/liquor stores right across the street, snorkel rental & sushi (v. good) place as well. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but it's very clean, and plenty of chairs. We used the grills one night which were very clean and nice for a night in. Highly recommend The Plantation House for dinner, just an 8 minute drive. The condo has all that you might want/need, even things you wouldn't expect (an insulated water bottle which we used a lot). Plenty of beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, beach towels, etc. A nice bonus is the little, but well equipped gym in the bldg. This was a perfect place for us (family of 4, all adults). Would def stay here again. Mahalo for maitaining and offering such a beautiful home.

This View NEVER Gets Old!!!

Royal Kahana 610 is just amazing. The view from the lanai carries throughout the entire living area, so you can prep & cook dinner in the (fully-stocked) kitchen without even missing the views. We had friends staying in another unit on-site. Their place was actually really nice, but they ate every meal with us just because… The decor is pretty perfect, & the kitchen has everything you need as far as pots & pans, cooking utensils, & even food storage containers & supplies. You will find that Maui, in general, is very Earth-friendly, & there are even recycling bins on the basement level here at RC. This made me very happy! Both bedrooms were nice. We slept well in there -except for the two nights that I CHOSE to sleep on the lanai. I can’t explain how peaceful it is to just sit out there & listen to the ocean. Nothing competes with the daytime views, but the night sky was also pretty stunning. We started most days with coffee on the lanai (organic, compostable pods provided for the Keurig) and then walked to nearby businesses before heading to the beach or excursion of choice. The coffee shop was a MUST, but get a punch card (we didn’t find out until too late)! So, that brings us to location! Royal Kahana is quite centrally located. There were restaurants, coffee shops, a general store, & even snorkel rentals literally across the street. We could have managed to survive quite happily just by walking everywhere! But you DON’T want to do that!!! There is too much beauty to see on Maui! We visited many beaches to the north & to the south, including Lahaina whaler’s village, Baby Beach, Napili (for snorkeling), & then finally D.T. Fleming Beach, which was our favorite because it wasn’t too crowded. We basically swam right next to several sea turtles, & our sons enjoyed the waves while we enjoyed the sand. There are beaches everywhere- each with their own, specific strengths. Talk to the kind folks at Snorkel Bob’s on the way back from your morning walk. They are incredibly kind & helpful & were able to steer us towards what we wanted from a beach for that day. Oh! And the unit is stocked with beach towels (look in the half bath cabinets), chairs, coolers, umbrellas, & even a few toys for little ones if you have them! This was especially nice for those of us who were packing light & traveling from VA! The washer & dryer were clutch as well. Basically, just get here! You won’t want to leave!!!

In this case they almost didn't do it justice. The unit is that nice. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The size of the unit was perfect for us and we actually had 6 all over 18. The view was magical and the interior was beautiful. We came to Maui to disconnect from a lot of the hustle and bustle and the location was perfect for that. Kaanapali is within driving distance for whatever we wanted to do there but it was always a pleasure returning to a more peaceful setting everyday.We are already planning another trip after my son's wedding and are looking forward to staying in the same exact unit. We loved it that much.

The unit is wonderful, with plenty of room for 2 couples and has a stunning view with a big lanai to sit on and view the ocean. The unit is well stocked and even had everything needed for a day at the beach, from chairs and umbrellas, to coolers and towels. There is actually a nice beach a two minute walk from the unit if you want to stay local. We also enjoyed the Beach House and Dollies Pub for dinners within walking distance of the Royal Kahana. Hawaii Life was very easy to work with and made everything seamless.Great property!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on the west side of Maui now at least five or six times & this unit had by far the best views we have had. We always stay directly on the oceanfront, and most units we have stayed in have been outdated and lacked good air-conditioning. We had the incredible opportunity to stay here for a little over a week during busy season and had an absolutely magnificent time. The condo is fully furnished with absolutely everything you can think of, and anything additional that you might consider, Megan obliges happily before your arrival! She even left a birthday gift for our son who celebrated his 6th birthday while we were on the island!! Watch the whales from the wraparound balcony and wake up to the sound of crashing waves just below your window! If you aren’t sightseeing, spend the days down at the pool right on the ocean or grab some groceries and grill out on one of the grills poolside. Then watch the sunset over Lanai for a full day of splendor. There is a small gym on the basement level that we didn’t have an opportunity to use. Would have used it if it opened a little bit earlier, but it is open at 7 AM. No problem! Having a washer and dryer inside the unit is a game changer. Next time we come, I will bring far less clothes for everyone! Can’t think of a single thing we’d have changed. We easily for 5 adults and one child - 2 adults per bedroom and one in the living room with our munchkin on a small blowup bed with plenty of room to spare. The 2 1/2 bathrooms are a major major bonus. PS. Oh, and if you want to know anything about anything on the island, there’s a gentleman in the building with the cutest dog ever who is a wealth of info. After one visit you with him, you may have plenty for your entire stay 🤣 but he means well and their dog Rosie is a gem. Consider us hooked! Book now, don’t wait!

We like the little changes here and there that we see every time return. Super clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. A Keurig for our AM coffee on the lanai. Hubby works on one side and I work on the other - Best office view! Pleased with the new pool area and palapuas for some shade. We enjoy Dollies, The Beach House and Maui Brewing Company near by for easy eats in the evening. We do a lot of grilling poolside - you meet a lot of great people down there. We like that there are no resort fees here - that adds up when you are on and extended vacay. We will be back!

Surpassed expectations

This was everything advertised and more! We will be back. The balcony and views are spectacular. The kitchen has everything you need to make and store anything.. We didn’t have to stock up on any basics (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, etc.). Plenty of room for our family of four. Beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc provided. Great communication with property owners. Walking distance to many restaurant options. Almost don’t want to recommend so we can keep this gem to ourselves.

The view was like no other!

We thought the condo 610 was wonderful, although I wish the air would have been working (we stayed sick the entire trip, because we had to leave the windows open at night to stay cool). The mattress in the master bedroom could have been better, I slept on the couch away from my husband because of back issues from the mattress. But even with all that said, I’ll stay here again and again and again.

Didn't want to leave!

The condo was exactly as the pictures showed - it is beautiful and spotless! It had everything we could possibly need, you really just need to bring your suitcase and hit the grocery store. We tried to spend as much time as possible on the patio as the views were absolutely breathtaking! Every single day we saw whales and sea turtles and one day we were able to watch a bunch of dolphins have some fun! Check in was easy peasy and the pool was a nice place to hang out when we didn't feel like going to a beach. We used the poolside grills quite a bit and they were always clean and available. The condo didn't have air conditioning while we were there (not the owners fault at all - they were out of order for the entire complex due to terrible storms they had before we arrived) but we didn't even miss not having a/c. They provided us with a ton of fans for every room and 2 portable a/c units but we rarely used it. The breeze off the ocean was wonderful and kept us cool. It actually worked out because we could leave all the doors and windows open and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves! Do not hesitate to book this place - you won't regret it!! We will definitely book this condo again if we are lucky enough to get back to Maui!

Best Rental We Have Ever Stayed At!

We LOVED this property! We were looking for something a little further north on Maui, so it would be quieter etc., but still convenient to everything. This property was exactly as advertised. The finishes & the upgrades make this an exceptional value. The kitchen was well stocked to easily accommodate family meals. The best things about this property was the AMAZING views! The huge porch/lanai area, with wraparound views was stunning. Easily the best part of our time in the unit was spent outside listening to the ocean & watching the sunsets, sea turtles etc. We enjoyed our time there. This is definitely a place we would book again on our next trip out to Maui!

Perfection from all angles

Our family had an incredible stay at Royal Kahana. First and foremost the views are breathtaking. From every angle. We purposefully tried to eat dinner in ( either cooking or takeout) to make sure we were home for sunset. The condo is filled with every single thing you could need. They have thought of everything. The beach, while technically not open, is better than I expected and we saw the sea turtle every day. Snorkeling abounds within 10 min drive north or south. Our favorites were black rock and Honolua. Boss frogs was great for snorkel gear rentals. The convenience store across the street at the shell station was impressive. And the staff at royal Kahana was friendly and helpful. And Megan and Jeremy were super responsive and great help with lots of suggestions. Including a options for us to renew our vows after 25 years. A truly special occasion. Other tips were Haililemalle general store for dinner after Haleakala. And Sea House in kapalua. A truly memorable vacation. And we would recommend this rental to anyone. Not all are the same in this building, this one is one of the best.

Beautiful condo

My husband and I came to Maui with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter. for a family vacation. This lovely condo was more than we expected. Beautiful view , lovely property .We sat out on the large deck to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Cannot wait to reture.

Amazing vacation!

This property is very clean and was well maintained. Stocked with everything you could imagine from beach chairs and towels to all types of kitchen supplies,, even a coffee grinder! Extra supplies included as well.. we have found in the past that most rental places give you a days worth of supplies but this place has extra dish pods,, detergent, paper towels, you name it. The view from the lanai is stunning, with the sun setting right off the balcony. We saw sea turtles from the lanai every day.The location is about 10 minutes from Kaanapali and 15 from Lahaina. Only 5 min to the best snorkeling beaches (Kapalui amd Napili). The beach is washed away at this property and I did not deduct stars for this because the owners mention it in advance. We knew this before we stayed. You can walk down to a beach 2 buildings down from this property.

Gorgeous all around!

The condo was absolutely perfect for us. Inside was very well taken care of and modern. The location was perfect! The view...oh wow...it couldn't have been any better. The condo is perfect, the kitchen has all utensils along with a single and multi cup coffee maker. Paper towels, trash bags, dish and clothes soap and coffee filters were supplied. This place is beyond clean, the beds are actually comfortable! The wraparound lanai had plenty of seating and several beach chairs, boogie boards, beach bags, ice chests and umbrellas came with the condo. The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like and the furniture looks new. Do not hesitate to book this condo. The Royal Kahana is a quieter complex, does not charge for parking and is close to everything. While it does not have a beach directly in front, you can walk right down a path to a great beach.

Gorgeous view, saw tons of turtles from our lanai, condo was spectacular

We were a party of 4 adults, 2 kids 10 and 9. The condo was gorgeous, the view was breathtaking, we were so impressed. Kids lived for pool time and it was open until 10 pm which they loved. We saw so many sea turtles from our lanai, right on the waters edge. Just spectacular. Amenities were excellent, we had everything we needed. The only "negative ", if I dare say that, was no beach. But maui is full of beaches, we found lots. There is a small beach just down a building and it was really nice. We loved this condo, we loved the view, the property managers/hosts, Hawaii Life, were very friendly, quick to reply, super helpful. Thank you to everyone!

The view from this unit is amazing. Within the first 5 minutes, we saw several whales and turtles. The unit was very well stocked - plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. We would love to stay here again!

Ocean Front Unit with Expansive Ocean Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kahana beach villa. The unit is literally on the ocean with expansive wrapped around lanai and ocean views. The unit is very clean, updated with high end appliances. We sat on the lanai watching sunset with a glass of wine almost everyday during our stay. The location is very convenient to Kapalua beach, restaurants and stores. We often did take-outs and just had lunch or dinner on the lanai. We would definitely rent the unit again in a heartbeat whenever we return to Maui. We highly recommend the unit.

We came to see whales and were not disappointed!

I spent a full day (not exaggerating) reviewing vacation properties and found this one. What a special place--beautifully decorated and wow the views! We came to see the humpback whales and loved that you could watch from the lanai and see their mist as they came up to breath! Bring binoculars. We also saw green sea turtles swimming below. We loved having 2.5 bathrooms and everything we could need in a kitchen--including a very nice well-stocked spice rack. Also nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Although the beach was washed away, you can easily drive to many other nearby beaches. We will definitely be back here!

Beautiful Condo!

We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to others. It’s even more beautiful in person compared to the pictures. Condo had everything we needed. The wrap around lanai is amazing. Open floor plan is very spacious. Smart TV another plus, we were able to listen to music on it as well. Beach chairs and ice chests of various sizes are a huge plus for going to the beach. Beautifully remodeled and furnished. We didn’t want to leave!!! We will be back!!!!

We loved it so much, we stayed for 10 more days!!

This condo was an amazing place to go for my 50th bday!! When we arrived on the island we received a text with the code for the door and directions to the complex from the location manager Jeremy. As soon as we opened the door, we knew this place was much better than the pictures could even show!! The view, WOW!! The ocean is right below the balcony, which wraps the front of the condo. It is so large that my bestie could use one side as her office while my husband and I could whale watch (with the provided binoculars) on the other side without disturbing her. The condo was nicely remodeled, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed and just enough room for 2 chefs!! A few days after we arrived we found out that because of Covin-19, our jobs and my nephews school had been moved to online, so we had no reason to rush home and changed our plans to stay 10 more days. We knew that we would be remanded to only the condo itself under self quarantine, but with our view of Lanai, Molokai and sunsets every night, we were ok with that!! We had the crashing waves and rum, so all was great!! Jeremy and his amazing team made adding the extra days so easy!! They offered to have the condo cleaned, but because of social distancing, we decided to clean it ourselves. I asked if they could just drop off a care package of paper goods, soaps, shampoos and mentioned that at some point they may want to get new knives in the kitchen. I was massacreing pineapples with some very dull knives!! 3 hours after my request we had a knock on the door!! Jeremy’s father in law showed up with everything we asked for, a brand new butcher block full of sharp knives and a box of chocolate macadamia nuts and bottle of prosecco for my birthday!! I ran after the poor man with the knife block in my arms to thank him!! Probably scared him half to death!! The next 10 days we just enjoyed the condo and the peace of mind that comes with being somewhere beautiful and safe. I cannot thank the owners and Jeremy and his team enough!! In such a crazy time we managed to have the time of our lives!! My 50th will be hard to top!!

We had an awesome experience at this property. The view is spectacular with 180 degrees of ocean, sea life, and island! You can’t beat the two bedroom ocean front condos there! The condo was very well supplied with anything you could possibly need and it was beautifully decorated inside and out. The beach has eroded even more and now there is no beach access from the patio by the pool. The beach front is lined with huge sand bags. We heard from owners at the pool they are planning to bring in more sand however I don’t know when. If you walk down the street it’s easy to get to the beach.

We like the little changes here and there that we see every time return. Super clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. A Keurig for our AM coffee on the lanai. Hubby works on one side and I work on the other - Best office view! Pleased with the new pool area and palapuas for some shade. We enjoy Dollies, The Beach House and Maui Brewing Company near by for easy eats in the evening. We do a lot of grilling poolside - you meet a lot of great people down there. We like that there are no resort fees here - that adds up when you are on and extended vacay. We will be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on the west side of Maui now at least five or six times & this unit had by far the best views we have had. We always stay directly on the oceanfront, and most units we have stayed in have been outdated and lacked good air-conditioning. We had the incredible opportunity to stay here for a little over a week during busy season and had an absolutely magnificent time. The condo is fully furnished with absolutely everything you can think of, and anything additional that you might consider, Megan obliges happily before your arrival! She even left a birthday gift for our son who celebrated his 6th birthday while we were on the island!! Watch the whales from the wraparound balcony and wake up to the sound of crashing waves just below your window! If you aren’t sightseeing, spend the days down at the pool right on the ocean or grab some groceries and grill out on one of the grills poolside. Then watch the sunset over Lanai for a full day of splendor. There is a small gym on the basement level that we didn’t have an opportunity to use. Would have used it if it opened a little bit earlier, but it is open at 7 AM. No problem! Having a washer and dryer inside the unit is a game changer. Next time we come, I will bring far less clothes for everyone! Can’t think of a single thing we’d have changed. We easily for 5 adults and one child - 2 adults per bedroom and one in the living room with our munchkin on a small blowup bed with plenty of room to spare. The 2 1/2 bathrooms are a major major bonus. PS. Oh, and if you want to know anything about anything on the island, there’s a gentleman in the building with the cutest dog ever who is a wealth of info. After one visit you with him, you may have plenty for your entire stay 🤣 but he means well and their dog Rosie is a gem. Consider us hooked! Book now, don’t wait!

Loved Every Minute of the Stay!

This property exceeded expectations in cleanliness, amenities, comfort and beauty! What a breathtaking view from the lanai and the half bath is an added bonus for a family of 4. The condo was the cleanest we've ever seen, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided except food! This is my second time staying at this location and it is my favorite because the views off the Lanai are second to none, sunsets R2 die for and the location is fantastic. There were 4 of us, two couples, and we stayed there 12 nights. I know lucky right! The condo was large enough to give all of us enough living space to allow for separation yet close enough to be comfortable together.The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, we needed, glass and plasticware for poolside, 4 beach chairs, coolers, 5 beach towels. The kitchen space is very functional, a little narrow, but the open concept doesn’t isolate the cook from the rest of the party. The hosts, Meagan and Jeremy were delightful, very responsive, they got it, they know for many of us that a trip to Maui is something special and they made sure our needs were met without being intrusive. They helped us navigate the air conditioning settings, and brought over fans to ensure our comfort. They were awesome. The location is perfect, not crowded like the resort hotels, a whole lot of less foot traffic and close to some world class beaches. It is very chill. The pool was very clean and refreashing, I like that there is a shower right there for use when you come off the beach and bathrooms close by in the basement near the ice machine. I like to grill when I am on vacation and I never had to wait to use one of the 4-5 large gas grills. The grills were always clean and well maintained. Favorite beaches: Slaughterhouse, Dt Fleming both had shade and great snorkeling. Love Paia, Milagro’s coconut margaritas are the best, Hookipia beach to watch surfers, snorkel. Warren and Annabel’s magic show and the old Lahaina luau are two events that I go to every time I go to Maui, this is my 6th time and I highly recommend you book these in advance because they sell out. Don’t want to leave

The condo Has a well equipped kitchen, and plenty of beach towels, chairs coolers waiting for you when you arrive. I love this location and this specific unit #610 wrap around Lanai has plenty of room for everyone to sit and view the beautiful sunsets. The pool area is very clean, the guy who keeps the gas grills clean should be rewarded they were all very clean, 12 days in a row. perfect set up, i have been on the island 6 times in the last 5 years and this is definitely my favorite place. Water out front was very clear, fun to watch the turtles from the deck, snorkeling with them even better. Your in close proximity to several excellent snorkeling spots, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores etc. Our hosts were very accommodating, and responsive. It was everything I hoped for and expected. I was not disappointed.

Amazing vacation in Maui!

This property looked great online, and exceeded the pictures and descriptions in every way. Ample space, beautifully appointed and updated with high quality sheets, pillows, towels, and all the things you need for a week plus vacation but cannot tote with you. The unit is wonderful, with plenty of room for 2 couples and has a stunning view with a big lanai to sit on and view the ocean. The unit is well stocked and even had everything needed for a day at the beach, from chairs and umbrellas, to coolers and towels. There is actually a nice beach a two minute walk from the unit if you want to stay local. We also enjoyed the Beach House and Dollies Pub for dinners within walking distance of the Royal Kahana. Hawaii Life was very easy to work with and made everything seamless. Great property!

We had all the comforts of home with amazing views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. All right from the living room and balcony. The condo is stocked with all you need from kitchen amenities to beach amenities like snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, and boogie boards. The condo is so comfortable it made it tough to leave and seek new islands adventures. Tim is a great owner and made sure were ready for a week in paradise. We really appreciate his hospitality. Absolutely wonderful!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here at the condo. The furniture was all very nice, towels and dishes etc. all very nice and everything you can think of needing was there. Tim was very nice and helpful with anything we needed or had a question about. Location was perfect for us. You can't beat that view! I have never had such a nice view, the lanai was so large and loved sitting out there just listening to the water and watching the turtles. I would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing stay!

We couldn’t have been happier with the condo. It’s such a beautifully done remodel. Other friends of ours were staying in a different 2 bedroom (same floor plan) and it didn’t hold a candle to Tim’s place. Speaking of Tim, he’s a joy to deal with. From beginning to end he was about us being on vacation and not worrying about the little things. Pictures of the condo are great but it’s even better than the pics show. This is an amazing property! The views are spectacular. The rooms feels as though you are in a pent house suite with a wrap around deck. The front desk is very helpful for questions. One week in paradise

It is hard to add any more than has already been written about this property, but I will try! We have stayed at VRBOs around the world and have never found a place as stocked and well-located as Tim's condo. He has thought of everything. A vacation is so much more relaxing when you are not worried about running out of tissues and hand soap (an issue we faced in another property)! We spent hours out on the lanai, watching the whales and surfers, walked to the great restaurants in the neighborhood (try Dollie's for pizza!) and enjoyed our short drives up to Napili and Kapalua or down to Lahaina when we felt like venturing out. It truly felt like a home away from home and I am already scheming ways to get back again before too long. Mahalo, Tim, for such a great vacation spot - we enjoyed every minute!

Tropical paradise

WHAT A VIEW!!!! This condo has been renovated with excellent taste and unique features not found in other ocean view condos we've rented at Royal Kahana. Opening up the kitchen so there is now an unobstructed view to the ocean is a brilliant addition. There is plenty of room for four adults as we had our grown children meet us there and we all agreed this was a better choice than the other units we've stayed in. Our second home!

Actually we wish it was. This was our second stay at Tim's place and we feel so at home there that you don't feel guilty about just hanging out in the condo with plenty of room for our family of 4. We are long time Maui visitors and have tried other condos but nothing has matched what 610 offers us. Great view, spacious accommodations, convenient location that makes you feel like your living in Maui rather than just on Vacation. We actually have stayed in other 2 bedroom oceanfront units at R.K. and none were as nice as Tim's which Is even better after the Kitchen wall was opened up so you get full ocean view as you cook breakfast. We ditched the resorts many years ago in favor of this type of place that's quiet and let's you get into full relax mode with out all the hustle bustle and crowds. Mahalo Tim!

This condo is amazingly! The minute you walk in the view is breathtaking. It fit our needs perfectly. This is our fourth trip to Maui and these accommodations were the best! Views from this condo are breathtaking!

Upon arrival, you could see the ocean and mountains immediately from the large lanai. The view was incredible! When we stepped into the condo, you could smell and see how clean it was. Everything was neat and spotless! Tim has everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach, staying by the pool, or relaxing on the lanai. He has personal touches throughout that make this condo extra special. We arrived during the wildfires in Maui, which caused power outages and caused the air conditioning unit not to cool. We called Tim, and he personally came to the unit and was able to assess the issue. The problem was fixed in a timely manner, and Tim kept in touch with us on the progress. Tim was extremely helpful from the moment we contacted him to book, even giving suggestions for activities on the island. We had a wonderful time and will stay at this condo again. WOW!!!!

We have visited Maui 4 times and this was by far the most beautiful and impressive condo we have stayed in. Tim has decorated it very tastefully and everything in it is high quality. There aren't adequate words to describe the panoramic view of the oceans and islands as you step inside this condo. Paradise, glorious, breathtaking, beautiful, amazing are a few of the adjectives I would use yet maybe indescribable would be more appropriate. We had our son's family staying here with us and there was plenty of room and supplies. This condo was well stocked for actually cooking and eating in the condo as well as with equipment for the beach. We would definitely stay here again. It is a no brainer. There was nothing that this condo was lacking. Tim was great and willing to work with us when we had a couple of changes. We also believe this condo was a real value. I saw many condos listed with less room, no ocean front view, and none of the top notch touches that are here costing much more than Tim is charging. I searched for hours before deciding this was the one for our family. None of them had this incredible view that greeted us. I am writing this sitting in the condo with only two days left on our vacation here in Maui. We planned for an entire year and looked at countless places to stay and kept coming back to this Condo. With this being our first family trip to Maui all I can say is that you can't go wrong with this condo. It is open, has amazing views and if very beautiful. The third half bathroom has saved many arguments with our 17 year old daughter and 18 year old son. They have their own space but have to use the one shower that is not a problem at all. We also have another family with us staying on the 12th floor who paid the same price as we did for this condo. They are always having dinner, breakfast and hanging out on occasion as they love our place. Bottom line if you are searching for a place to stay and rent this condo I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I will stay here again and not even look at others. Maui brewing company is right across the street and offers good food and beers. Down the road we have found really good places to eat. But don't forget to stop at Costco after leaving the airport and get some things to BBQ, breakfast and munchies as it not only saves you money and there has been plenty of room to have dinner with both families. 100 percent satisfied!!!!

Magnificent Views / Updated Unit

The magnificent view gets your attention immediately and the rest of the unit is not far behind from it’s open space, beautiful finishings and comfortable beds to the incredible wrap-around lanai . We spent many hours just sitting enjoying coffee in the morning and wine in the evening there. The beach chairs, umbrella and Boogie Board were put to good use by the whole family. Incredible view

My family stayed at this condo for a week and it was amazing! Everything was clean and the unit is very updated with very comfortable beds, new and plentiful kitchen appliances, beach towels for us to use, and I don't think there could be a prettier view from any lanai. I think someone said it was like "whale soup" out there and from the lanai of this condo unit, you have the best seat in the house. Tim was very responsive in email both before and during our stay with any questions I had. The location is great and we would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Beautiful Condo ~ Amazing View!!

Wow ~ As soon as you walk into this unit, all you see is windows and ocean!! Every room had a view. Loved sitting on the lanai sipping my morning coffee and watching the waves on the beach below. Occasionally seeing a turtle in the surf below on it's morning swim. We cooked several meals in the beautifully stocked kitchen, and didn't miss a single sunset. Great location ~ easy to get to wherever you need or want to go. This Condo is located on the longest stretch of beautiful sandy beach. Quiet enough in the evenings that you can fall asleep to the waves hitting the beach. 10 days was not enough. Hated to leave paradise and come back to reality. I can only hope that Tim will still have this beautiful condo available when we are able to come back and visit again. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to vacation a whole week at this amazing condo! My sister and our families stayed from August 10th-17th. Talk about a spacious, beautiful, upgraded unit! Fantastic view and condo!

We stayed in this great, clean and comfortable condo for 2 weeks before Christmas and I would highly recommend this unit. As I said it was clean and well maintained with great tile floors and comfortable beds. The panoramic views were better then any description listed on this site and the beach was a pleasant surprise. During our stay we saw whales, turtles and even a monk seal from our balcony. We will stay at this condo again. Is should also mention that we found our condo quiet with very little outdoor noise.

Wonderful stay

We stayed at this beautiful condo for 6 days and we had a wonderful time. The incredible lanai offered the wonderful sunset and the ocean view. We enjoyed sitting at the lanai and having a cup of coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, not like the previous guests, we did not see any turtle this time. It's disappointed. The sound of ocean was soothing and gave you the peaceful sleep. The condo was clean and comfy. The kitchen had enough supplies and you did not need to worry to get stuffs from grocery store except food when you first arrived. The staff at Royal Kahana was friendly and helpful. Amazing oceanfront condo

Our stay in this beautiful condo was wonderful and comfortable for our family of 6! The ocean views from the balcony are amazing!!! We saw turtles and whales right off our lanai. We loved going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. The amenities and everything provided was highly appreciated. The condo had everything we needed. We loved having a dishwasher and especially a washer and dryer. One suggestion for improvement would be a more through cleaning of the windows and the condo in general. We really enjoyed the heated pool outside as well. The Royal Kahana as a resort was average and the customer service at the front desk was pretty poor. However, Tim has been a pleasure to work with and he has been very helpful to make sure our stay is comfortable and we have everything we needed. Great experience in Maui

We had a great stay at this property. Tim's communications and directions were top notch with step-by-step instructions on getting a parking pass, getting into the condo, and a great summary of things to do and places to eat in the area. The condo itself was perfect; being right on the beach front. We sat on the porch and watched sea turtles swimming just below us several mornings. Peaceful, quiet, and well furnished. The pool always had open chairs during our stay. This is not somewhere to go if you want to party all night with 20-somethings, but a great choice for a quiet time with a great view, quiet space and easy access to the Western part of the island.

Beautiful!!

The condo looks amazing in the photos, but it's even more amazing in person. The view from the lanai is truly a million dollar view!!! We had such a great time. Our 2 & 4 year olds loved the beach and ocean which are steps away. There were lots of turtles. There is a cute area by the pool that serves snow cones, coffee, breakfast, and even a lunch each day. Everybody was so friendly! The condo had everything we could ask for. The nearby towns are fun & there are a lot of cute shops. Sansei's had amazing sushi! Love this place!

My husband and I visited for a week with our three sons ages 27, 17 and 12. The unit was spacious enough to accomodate us all and had everything we needed. Well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling apparatus, internet, TV, central air, etc. It really felt like home away from home. Best of all, the view from the lanaii .... priceless! Gorgeous, breath-taking sunsets very night. Kahana Beach is very peaceful. Many times you have it all to yourself! We slept with the doors open every night and enjoyed the beautiful sound of waves on the beach and wind in the palms. Very relaxing. The condo is located near shopping and only a few minutes from Ka'anapauli (sp?) beach and Laihina. I am anxiously planning our return trip!

Paradise in itself

This was my 4th time staying at the Royal Kahana and this is by far the most fabulous unit there. We love the location because it's quiet, yet close enough to all of the Maui attractions. This unit is spectacular, the lanai was our favorite spot offering stunning views and that calming sound of the waves. Paradise on the 6th Floor

Anyone vacillating on renting this condo versus staying in a hotel (or even another condo), please do yourself a favor and choose this condo, you will not be disappointed. The condo is beautifully updated with large living spaces but more magnificent is the unbelievable ocean view that is captured from the wall to wall windows. Wish we were still there....

We have been to Maui many times and stayed in various areas on the island but our reason for staying here was the Kahana location. The villa was well appointed and the view was spectacular. The biggest downside was that it was hard leaving the villa to enjoy the various activities we'd planned each day! A Piece of Paradise in West Maui

We had tracked hundreds of places on the web and decided on this place for a 15 day trip in Jan. 2011. There is always trepidation when you approach a place for the first time (we have had some bad places in the past that looked good on the web). Well, we were blown away as we entered the condo. There was Lanai and Molokai in a 270 degree panorama of the ocean in a first place edifice with all the upgrades and niceties. If as on cue several whales breached just a couple of hundred yards off shore. When I say on the ocean, I mean on the ocean! You have to go on the Lanai and look over the edge to see the beach or grass. The entire wall is full glass so you could not duplicate this setting. Needless to say we were very pleased and will be back!! Tim was very good to work with as well!! Very Pleased in Maui!

my wife and i recently celebrated out 49th anniversary with a week at this condo. we have stayed in other units at the Royal Kahana before and have no doubt that this is the best. an extensive, high end remodel adds immensly to the prime oceanfront setting. the sixth floor location is high enough that the noise of the waves is not distracting and low enough to let you enjoy what's going on down at the beach. where other complexes are located on sea walls or rocky shore, the Royal Kahana has a long sandy beach. tim, the owner is local and is a pleasure to deal with. we intend to go back during whale watching season. you can sit right in the living room and have a commanding view of the channel where they love to play. FIRST CLASS, ALL THE WAY!

This condo is first class all the way with a million dollar view! We cooked most of our meals in the beautiful kitchen and enjoyed them on the huge rap around lanai. The bathrooms are very nicely done, with thick turkish towels, right up there with a first class resort, but at a much better price. If you are considering this condo , compare the rate with those of just a room at a hotel at a big, noisy resort that will probably not be oceanfront, but perhaps oceanview. This condo is by far a much better value and you give up nothing but gain so much. I agree with previous guests that Tim is very easy to work with. All questions answered quickly. Try this condo, you will not be disapppointed.
