This lovely home has a large primary suite that sleeps 2 people in the California King Bed. Guests can choose which of the two lanais to sit and relax in the morning or evening. Beautiful green yard with mature trees, colorful tropical landscape and a fabulous outdoor shower. Short walking distance to Hanalei Pier and Hanalei town.

We thought we were in heaven.

My husband and I spend a week in January 2018, at the Umetsu Cottage in Hanalei. We thought we were in heaven. The unit is adorable. It has an outdoor shower, two bathrooms, one bedroom, and an amazing porch where we would relax and read and have cocktails. The other wonderful thing was the bed on the side porch. We could look at the stars and hear the waves crashing on the beach, which was right across the street from the cottage. The kitchen was small but had everything you needed. Best of all, there was soap, shampoo, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent which we find in short supply every time we rent from AirBnB and HomeAway! The Umetsu is located across from the beach and a walk away from downtown where there are good restaurants and fun shopping. This is the place to go if you want a relaxing experience and you cannot go wrong with Kauai Island Vacations - they treat you very well.
